ICarly Reboot (part 2)

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I am going to be doing a continuation from a blog I posted back in March. I got new information for the new ICarly Reboot. If you have not read my part 1 about the ICarly Reboot, here it is: ICarly RebootI will not be going threw part one in this blog. But since I wrote that blog I have more info about our favourite web star, Carly, and best friend Freddie and her older brother Spencer. So let's get started. I got all this new information from Slo4n on YouTube. That is where I got my ICarly news theses days.

Let's start with the premier date. The show is going to be on Paramount+ on June 17, 2021. Miranda Cosgrove, Nathan Kress, Jerry Trainor, Laci Mosley, & Jaidyn Triplett were all celebrating Miranda's birthday when we got the news of the official date for the show.

That is not the only good news we have. Mary Scheer as Freddie's mom, Reed Alexander as Nevel, Danielle Morrow as Nora, & Tim Russ as Principle Franklin are all coming back to reprise their roles. Now I will explain the new cast members Laci and Jaidyn. Laci Mosley plays Carly's new best friend and roommate, Harper, and Jaidyn plays Freddie's stepdaughter, Millicent. Yes- you heard me right Chameleons, Freddie is married with a stepchild. Now here is the storyline: Spencer Shay is rich now, Carly and Harper live in the same building as Spencer and Ms. Bensen. Freddie has been threw a few divorces and moves back home with his mom, and had a stepchild now who is social media obsessed and is not a fan of his best friend, Carly. Carly has not kept up with her web seres in years. And since the internet changed over the years Carly is now exploring and competes and changes in the current social media landscape.

Here are some things going down while filming ICarly Reboot. First; Miranda fired ICarly producer, Jay Kogen cause of created differences that ended up not seeing eye to eye, so the network decided to pick Miranda over Jay. Which pushed the show back to June 17. Second; Some of the original fans of the show do not like that Laci is replacing Sam, and being racist towards her. Speaking of Sam, they will not be bringing her up in the show. Laci did however speak out about this and said to everyone who has been racist and mean towards her, she said: "Hi, I'm playing Harper on ICarly. I'm not replacing Sam, Jennette McCurdy. She's a very wonderful person, I never met her. But it's no shade. Get the f*ck out of my comments with this f*cking racist *ass bullish*t. You will be blocked and you will never see me again." If you are mad, upset, or disappointed that Sam is not going to be in the show, I have a simple suggestion instead of sending Laci those mean comments. Don't watch the show. I am excited to see Harper and what she would bring to ICarly. I will still be watching cause Freddie and Spencer (but mostly Freddie) is still in show.

Now I will give you what I think should happened on how Carly met Harper. Carly went to college after living with her dad, met Harper in college. Harper and Carly became best friends and decided to live as roommates together after college. I also think Millicent meets Nevel and they both team up to take Carly down. Millicent goes to Carly and Freddie's old school and Principle Franklin is still the principle.

This Year On American Idol

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I am going to talk about all the crazy shit that happened on American Idol this year. Before I start, I do want to say that the reason why I watched American Idol this year, is cause I was in a reading slump. One day in February I was watching a video from LovelyLikeLaura on YouTube talking about what to do in a reading slump. In the video she said to watch a show you never watched before. That is what I did. So I am going to go in order of this craziness shit that was on the show this year. I will even talk about what happened after Cecil Ray got eliminated. Oh, and sorry for swearing in advance.

On February 14, 2021 American Idol season 19 premiered. The first show was good. We are going to start off with a contestant that I hated, I forget what audition episode it but this girl, named, Erika Perry used her audition as a joke. She was looking for love on American Idol and only auditioned cause her boyfriend broke up with her the day before, and got a golden ticket cause of that. I say, if she wants to find love, you are on the wrong show. One of the boys who got a golden ticket, Bensen was never seen after that. People think he was offered to work with a record label and he had to pick one or the other. Then we have Claudia Conway, who was only on the show cause her famous aren't and to talk about them.

Next we have the Top 40 to the Top 24. While making the Top 24 the judges cut fan-favourite Murphy, and it was his birthday. I thought Katy, Luke, & Lionel would be nice and let me go threw as a birthday present, but no. Then we have Funke fans on stage. She was rushed to the hospital. After that we have the Celebrity duet challenge. I didn't find anything wrong with this until I watched a YouTube video from Kiki. Basically she noticed that 2 celebrities: Ryan Tender and Tori Kelly were trying to out shine the contestants.

Later we have the Top 24 to Top 16. One of the contestants, Wyatt Pike made it to the Top 16, but had to drop out for personal reasons, and that is all I know. Now let's talk about Cecil Ray. He did not make it into the Top 16, but a week later he was arrested cause allegedly he was accused to be a women abuser towards the mother of his child. I am not going to go in depth about that.

Now we have the big thing that everyone is very upset and hates. The twist, Comebacks. What that is, that that the producers had the brilliant idea that since the contestant from last year couldn't perform on the Idol stage,, they thought bring some contestants back for them to have a chance to be in this year's Top 7 for a second chance and to perform on stage. Cause since Covid they couldn't. NEWS FLASH, NO ONE COULD PERFORM ON STAGE LAST YEAR DUE TO COVID!!! Just bring a contestant from this year to replace Wyatt. I don't even like that celebrities are planning tours already when we are just getting our vaccine.

Now we have Top 16 to Top 7. Arthur Gunn from last year took a spot from a desiring contestant this year. Lucky he didn't makke it pass Top 7. Top 5....4. Just a few weeks ago,  the Top 5 was announced Caleb, Chance, Casey, and Grace was the Top 5... until a video of Caleb being racist that made him drop out. 5 became 4. Last let's talk Grace's single. Grace has a power-house voice, but while you listen to her single, Love Someone you can defiantly hear autotune.

That is all the crazy shit this year on this season of American Idol.

Sour by Olivia Rodrigo CD Review

Hey mu lovely Chameleons. Long time, no blog. I took a break for a little. Before I go on, I want to say that I have 5 (counting this blog in my 5) blog ideas I want to do before the end of the month. On May 31st I will take a break. Some of you Chameleons know why. I was going to post up a blog yesterday about all the crazy shit on American Idol this year, but that will be for tomorrow. Yesterday after my walk I came home, made dinner, and watched Raven's Home, and today is reserved for a new Music Review. Today, May 21, 2021 Olivia Rodrigo's debut CD, Sour, just came out.

On January 8, 2021, she came out with her first single, Driver's License. Then a few months later, on April fools day she came out with her second single, Deja Vu. Later on May 14, 2021 she came out with her last single, Good 4 U. Here is the cover art and track list.

Track List:
1. brutal
2. traitor
3. driver's license
4. 1 step forward, 3 steps back
5. deja vu
6. good 4 u
7. enough for you
8. happier
9. jealousy, jealousy
10. favourite crime
11. hope ur ok

On January 8, 2021 I was on Instagram, and I saw a post form famousbirthday saying 4 songs that came out that day, and I saw Olivia on the list with her single, driver's license. I didn't know if I wanted to download the song, cause I thought she was just another singer who thinks she can sing and her song was like Rebecca Black's Friday or Allison Gold's Chines Food, or a one hit Disney Star wonder. so I decided to listen to the song on YouTube first. I like the song so I bought the song. I didn't know that this song was number 1 song world wide in just a few days after it came out. Then I started seeing covers for this song all over Instagram. Then I hear that she was coming out with her second single, and you pre-order the CD. I bought deja vu just hoping that I get the same vibe from driver's license. I did. From then on, I couldn't wait for her CD. I am glad I was wrong about Olivia's singing and took a listen at the start of this year. One of my favourite CDs of 202. My favourite songs off this CD are: Brutal, Traitor, Driver's License, 1 Step Forward 3 Steps Back, and Good 4 U

Better Mistakes by Bebe Rexha CD Review

Hey Chameleons, in today's blog I am going to do a Music Review on Bebe Rexha's new CD, Better Mistakes that came out on May 7, 2021. This blog was going to go up on Saturday, but my Aly & AJ Music Review ended up going upraise I didn't finish it on Friday before the concert. Then on Sunday after looking at all the Mother Day pics I turned off my social media at 6pm and left it off for the rest of the night. I like looking at all the Mother's Day pics, and I like to join in the fun too. But it's too much for me. So I decided to do the review today.

On October 9, 2020 her single, Baby I'm Jealous came outs. Just 5 months. March 5, 2021 she came out with her second single, Sacrifice, off from her new CD. A Moth after, on April 16, 2021 she came out with her third single, Sabotage, and then 2 weeks after, April 30, 2021 she came out with her last single, Die For A Man. Her is the cover art and track list.

Track list:
1. Break My Heart Myself (Feat. Travis Baker)
2. Sabotage
3. Trust Fall
4. Better Mistakes
5. Sacrifice
6. My Dear Love (Feat. Ty Dollar Sign & Trevor Daniel)
7. Die For A Man (Feat. Lil Uzi Vert)
8. Baby I'm Jealous (Feat. Doja Cat)
9. On The Go. (Feat. Pink Sweats & Lunay)
10. Death Row
11. Empty
12. Amore (Feat. Rick Ross)
13. Mama

I found this CD on iTunes randomly on iTunes on Friday May 7 when I bought Aly & AJ's new CD. After seeing the date when this CD came out I was like I want to write a review on this. Here we are. I don't really listen to Bebe. I am a little familiar with her. I only really actually know her form Vrigin Radio, and that is when I end up listing to the radio. She was the celebrity mentor on an episode on The Launch (season 2, episode 6). I do have Shining Star by her in 2018. But after listening to this CD fully my favourite songs off this CD are: Sabotage, Better Mistakes, & Death Row. Death Row is probably my main favourite song. I do like her voice and this CD is good, just one of my favourite CDs, but still really good. I enjoyed it.

A Touch Of The Beat by Aly & AJ CD Review

Hey my lovely Chameleons. Before I get started I want to point out that, that is not the whole title of the CD. The full title is A Touch Of The Beat Gets You Up On Your Feet Gets You Out and Then Into The Sun. And another thing, this blog was suppose to be up yesterday, and I wanted this blog to go up before the concert. But I got busy with getting my Celebrity Honesty Opinions of Christina Aguilera ready for the next day, needed to do some cleaning, watch the new Mighty Ducks: Game Changers, and catch up on the third episode of Big Shot to actually tell you Chameleons if I like the show, cause my rule with TV Series Review blogs I need yo at least watch 3 episodes. But I had opinions on the show during the first episode Now onto this blog.

In today's blog I wanted to do this Music Review after I heard that Aly & AJ were coming out with a new CD. I also decided that I wanted to do this review before I bought tickets to see them live over Zoom, which is on May 7. The same day as when the CD cam out, and not just that, I am even meeting them over Zoom the next day. I will have a blog later this month talking about the experience. First let's talk about the CD.

On December 2, 2020 the girls came out with their first single, Slow Dancing, and then on January 15, 2021 they came out with their second single, Listen!!!, off their new CD. Just 2 months after, on March 5, 2021 the girls came out with, Pretty Places. The last single off the CD. Then a few days ago they relapsed a promoting single, Don't Need Nothing. On May 7, 2021 the CD came out. Here is the track list and cover art.

Track list:
1. Pretty Places
2. Lost Cause
3. Break Yourself
4. Slow Dancing
5. Paradise
6. Symptom Of Your Touch
7. Lucky To Get Him
8. Listen!!!!!
9. Don't Need Nothing
10. Stomach
11. Personal Cathedrals
12. Hold Out

On March 24, 2021 I got news that Aly & AJ was doing a mini concert over Zoom. I decided to take part. Near the end they said that their new CD comes out May 7, 2021 and then they said are doing a virtual concert at the The Theatre Ace Hotel in L.A. I was thinking that I might want to by tickets. I looked at the prices and saw that they had a Meet & Greet package... No more on that. You need to wait for my blog on the Aly & AJ concert blog sometime this month. It took me a secede to realized that theses a CD Release Party too. On May 6, 2021 I wanted to watch ICarly online. By accident I watched ICarly till 12:30am and realized that it was May 7, 2021. Since I bought all of the singles and I love them, buy the rest of the CD. I wanted to listen to the CD at 12:30am. I made it to Break Yourself till I made up my mind that I need to go to bed. I went to bed at 12:55am. In the morning I listened to the CD twice. My favourite none single songs from the CD are: Lost Cause, Break Yourself, Paradise, and Lucky To Get Him. I deffenty enjoyed this CD. I love this. Please keep in mind that this CD Review has no effects on this big weekend of seeing them and meeting them.

I should finish off by saying if I like Big Shot, just cause that was one of the reasons why this blog did not go up when it was suppose to. My opinion still stands on what I said about the show, Gordon Bombay meet Basketball is the best way how I can sum it up. Episode 2 I was zoning in and out, and during the third episode it was good. The truth is; I feel like it's like Mighty Duck for basketball and Marvyn Korn is Gordon Bombay. The show has it's good parts, and bad parts, but it's not really my cup of tea. If you want to read my Big Shot TV Series Review, here it is: Big Shot TV Series Review.
