Midnight Sun Review

On March 23 a new movie came out. This movie is staring Bella Thorne & Patrick Schwarzenegger and it is called Midnight Sun. Midnight Sun is about Katie Price has XP (Xeroderma Pigmentosum) witch means she is sensitive to sunlight. If she is exposed to sun, she with die. Doctor visits are apart of her daily routine, she has special windows, and she can go out, but only at night. Katie mostly spends her days with her dad or in her room. She also stalks her neighbour, Charlie from her bedroom window. later they start to date. Sounds familiar...??? Not really. If you Chameleons know of a certain movie called Everything Everything it basically the same story. Everything Everything story, Maddy is sick with SCID witch means, she is allergic to the world and can not leave her house or she will die. Olly moves next door and they start a friendship and then date.  Other than this being very basic and not original this was also Patrick Schwarzenegger's acting debut. To be completely honest here, he got handed the role. Just cause he is Arnold Schwarzenegger's son.

What i think about this movie is... First, let's put Everything Everything and Nick Robinson down for a second. The movie was funny, Patrick Schwarzenegger can't act and he basically got handed the role, Bella can act. And this movie was not that strong, it was just plain Now lets put Everything Everything in this mix, I had Everything Everything playing in my head at some points during the movie. I also was keeping a list in my head on what they took from the movie. So what I am basically saying is I hated this movie and I never hated one of Bella Thorne's movies before. Yeah sure, I wasn't a fan of some of them. I had a hatred from the very beginning. The main reason is because Bella and Nick worked together in 2012's Disney Channel Original Movie, Frenemise, Midnight Sun is base off of Everything Everything (What Nick started in), and this movie came out LITERALLY a week after Love Simon (staring Nick), and a day after Nick Robinson's Birthday. That is why I hate Midnight Sun. Also it got 21% on Rotten Tomatoes. At first I did tell myself if Bella did not play in this remake of Everything Everything I would like it, now that I saw it I still wouldn't like it. You can catch Bella in better things. I even saw Every Day staring Debby Ryan. Very confusing. It's still better than Midnight Sun

The thing I thought was weird about me, is that I cried a bit to this movie and I only teared up while watching Love Simon. Not saying why I cried a bit, cause if you Chameleons have not seen this movie and still want to after reading the blog I am not telling you the ending.

SO, if you want to watch a good love story, watch Love Simon. I am not saying that cause Nick Robinson is my favourite actor. This is what I honestly think of the movie.

Love Simon Review

On March 16, 2018 we got a movie, that is now the biggest movie of 2018. Yes, Chameleons, I am talking about Love Simon. This movie is the love story we all need. And yes, the movie is right; Everyone deserves a great love story. 

What Lone Simon is about is, Simon, a 17-year old who is hiding a secret from everyone, even his family. He ends up having an emailing relationship with this guy who goes by the name "Blue". Until Martin ends up getting a hold of Simon's emails and blackmails him. By getting Simon to help get Abby to be his girlfriend. Besides of his secret Simon is a normal teenager. He loves to spent time with his friends, watch bad 90's movies, and drink way too much ice coffee. 

I LOVED Love Simon. I been counting down the days since October. Ok, fine, the reason why I been counting down the days since October is because Nick Robinson is my favourite actor ever. But despise that; I really love the movie and I think that Love Simon has a great message. Everyone deserves a great love story. No matter who you are. Everyone deserves a great love story.

Fun Fact: Shawn Mendes was going to play Simon Spier. But he couldn't find time with having a busy schedule so the role went to Nick Robinson. In all honestly, I can not see anyone else playing Simon Spier.
