It Ends With Us Movie Review

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I am going to be doing a Movie Review of the new movie, It Ends With US, that came out on August 9, 2024. It Ends With Us is based on the book with the same name by Colleen Hoover.

Before I go on with this review, this blog might be a little long just cause I want to talk about Colleen a little and the drama that came with the release of the movie along with how I heard about Colleen, how I read the books, and my feelings on the movie.

On August 9, 2024 It Ends With Us hit theatres. It Ends With Us is baed on a book by Colleen Hoover. If you have not seen the movie or read the books, here is what they are about; Lilly overcomes a traumatic childhood to embark on a new life. A chance meeting with a neurosurgeon sparks a connection but Lilly begins to see sides of him that remind her of her parents' relationship.

The Cast:

Blake Lively as Lilly Bloom
Justin Baldoni as Ryle Kincaid  (director)
Jenny Slate as  Allysa
Hasan Minhaj as Marshall
Brandon Sklenar as Atlas Corrigan
Kevin McKkid as Andrew Bloom
Amy Morton as Jenny Bloom
Alex Neustaedter as Younger Atlas
Isabela Ferrer as Younger LillyBloom

How I first heard about Colleen Hoover was from BookTube (YouTubers talking about books) and hearing that a lot of people don't like her and that her books are laced as "Romance" the they are not. So I didn't know if I wanted to try them. Bt actually after hearing about her book November 9th I wanted to check it out. Then for my 31st birthday Natalie gave me It Ends With Us and the second one It Ens With Us by Colleen Hoover. I wanted to try them. Somehow I came across that there was a book to movie of It Ends With Us coming out in July. I wanted to read the book quick. Then I see that it was coming out August 9, 2024. I had time to read it. That was actually gonna be a big weekend for me. Meeting Shania Scichilone on the 10th and seeing Avril Lavigne on the 12th. Plus I thought since Natalie gave me the books, she come se the movie with me. On August 7, 2024 I was reading the It Ends With Us and wanted to look something up about the movie and I saw that the movie was playing the next day by me. I didn't know what to do. To make this blog a little shorter, I decided to wait when I was with Natalie to see the movie. On August 10, 2024 while driving to Toronto to meet Shania Scichilone Natalie thought us 3 can go see the movie when Brad was at his party at 6:20pm that night. I loved the movie. It was rally accurate to the book. Except after Allysa had her baby that is when some of the movie got mixed up from the book. I mean, if you read the book, some of the things in the movie that happened before Allysa had her baby and in the movie they happened after Allysa had her baby. But that is alright. The movie was in my Top 5. That is how much I loved it. And my favourite scene, the Onesies scenes were in the movie.

Now, I will talk about the drama. The day after, on August 11, 2024 I saw that the cast and crew had drama. During promotion of the movie, It was pretty much Lilly (Lively) & Atlas (Sklenar) were doing interviews together, and when the cast did interviews all together, Ryle (Baldoni & Director) was never with them. Also when Baldoni did interviews by himself, he would talk about the meaning behind the movie and I heard that the rest of the cast is making it more like a RomCom. Again, this is what I am hearing and reading. Plus, the cast is following each other, but not following Justin Baldoni. Not even Colleen Hoover, but he is following everyone. Here is something I don't like. I know why they relate 2 movies a week or 2 after each other for competitive, but I don't like that husbands movie and wife's movie are the 2 movies. Ryan Reynolds is in Deadpool & Wolverine and Blake Lively is in It Ends With Us and the last movie I saw before this movie was Deadpool & Wolverine. I feel like both of them are gonna be the biggest movies of 2024. Why put Ryan & Blake compete against each other? I also heard that Ryan works on every project Blake does. The rooftop scene in the movie is written by Ryan. As much as Justin Bladoni looks a lot like Joe Jonas to me, and I don't like the Jonas Brothers at all, I agree with him on the meaning of the movie. But like I said, this movie is in my Top 5. Justin Bladoni also directed the movie Clouds & 5 Feet Apart. Clouds is one of my favourites.

My top5 movies are; Simon Birch, Love Simon, No Hard Feelings, & It Ends With Us. Clouds is in my top 10 favourite movies

Looking at the title I wanted to check out the movie. On July 28, 2024 I was watching A Word Record Christmas. Yes, I love Christmas, but I am that person who doesn't watch anything Christmas until November. It was based on True Events. Anyway, back to Junebug. What I been saying is that during a commercial break from A World Record Christmas I saw the trailer for Junebug. I just pointed at the TV and said to myself "I remember seeing that on the computer. That made me want to watch it. On August 3, 2024 I was playing fetch with Dodge and then I remember that the movie Junebug was on at 8pm. I watched it, until Dodge wanted out and play more fetch lol. I missed a bit of the movie.. But the movie was cute. I also enjoyed that the romance was not the big part, like in most Hallmark movies. But anyway, this movie was cute and I really enjoyed it.

My 3 favourite things in one movie; Mark Wahlberg, a dog who looks like Dog, and it's based on a True Story. On March 15, 2024 I was looking on the cineplex website and nothing. Every day I was looking to see if it was out in Canada. On April 24, 2024 I decided to just look foe the movie on a streaming site. I found it. I bawled my eyes out and liked the movie, but I didn't feel like Arthur The King was Top Tier for me. But I did really enjoy it.

Barbie Movie Review

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I am going to be telling my review on the Barbie movie, which came out last year on July 21, 2023. I swear that I thought I did this blog, but I didn't. Yes, my opinion is open about this movie, but I decided to write (or rewrite) this on my blog.

On July 21, 2023 the live action Barbie movie hit theatres. This is what Barbie is about; Barbie & Ken are having the time of their lives in the coulorful and seemingly perfect world of Barbie Land. However, when they get a chance to go to the real world, they soon discover the joys and perils of living among humans. Before I go on with the movie cover and the cast, I want to say, since they're so many Barbie & Ken's in the movie, I am just going to say the main Barbie & Ken. Then the other cast with different names.

The Cast

Margot Robbie as Barbie
Ryan Gosling as Ken
Kate McKinnon as Weird Barbie

On July 21, 2023 I ended up seeing Barbie with Natalie and her 2 younger kids. I was excited, but I also felt like I wouldn't like it. We went to the Drive-in Movies, but I almost fell asleep. I was in POP (help you find a job workshop). I was waking up at 5:45am to walk Dodge and get ready and be there for 8:45am. I didn't make up my mind yet. I decided that I needed to see it again. So on July 27, 2023, I bought my movie ticket to see Barbie again on August 1, 2023. On July 31, I remembered that I was going to see Barbie the next day. On August 1st, I went on the bus, god my food and drink, and found my seat. I was bored. I stayed, came I thought it would get better. It was the worst movie ever. And yet it made ver a million dollars. The only good thing in the movie was Ryan Gosling's song, I'm Just Ken.

Speaking of Ryan Gosling (who I love and is a Canadian) I have been seeing posts on Facebook saying that Ryan should win an Academy Award for Barbie. OH GIVE ME A BREAK!! he was in way better movies. Like The Notebook, Lala Land, and First Man (all the ones I know off the top of my head)

Go watch a better movie.

On June 2nd after Cindy, Robbie, and I went to go see The Garfield Movie we were talking about the next movie to go see. I told Cindy that Despicable Me 4 is coming out on July 3rd, but if we go see the movie we should go on July 5th. Long story, short, I went to see this movie with Natalie and her younger kids in Buffalo, NY. It was actually a lat minute thing before we went back to Canada. We spent the day in Buffalo, Ny. I thought since I seen the Minion Movie and Gru's movie it be alright. But I don't like Miranda Cosgrove and I never did. I do those like Drake & Josh, ICarly, and ICarly 2.0. I do like Joey King, but I will never watch the show The Act staring Joey King. Anyway, off topic, I thought this movie was too short. Yeah, I know it's for kids. Also I never seen the other 3 Despicable Me movies. cause of Miranda Cosgrove and not being a huge fan of animation movies. This movie was alright.

She was alright with that. I am not going to tell you Chameleons what happened during the movie, just cause I don't want to. I mostly just talk about if I like the movie or not. I. did like this movie, and I was NOT hungover this time and I knew it was Ryan this time and that Hugh Javkman joined the cast

Not because Sabrina Carpenter is in this movie. Other than True Stories I love rated R comedies. To me they sound funnier, just like Little Miss Sunshine, and Being Charlie (Being Charlie is not a comedy, but some parts are funny). This movie was funny and it good

Near the end of April I was on Netflix and I saw this trailer for Senior Year in Coming to Netflix on my phone. I kept watching till the end cause I thought it looked good, I recognized Rebel Wilson, and I loved the early 2000th. On the weekend of May 13, 2022 I was at my friend's Natalie's. On May 14, 2022 I was on Netflix at Natalie's house and decided to put this movie on cause I was on Facebook and I heard from a 2000th Facebook Group I am in that this movie has 2000th nostalgia. I have to admit, it does and I love the music in this movie. This movie was also ok. It said it was a comedy, but I only found myself laughing 3 or 4 times and that was it. Near the ending I lost focus and decided to watch this movie all the way threw at home. I watched the movie all the way threw, and I realized that I don't really like Rebel Wilson movies really. I even still only laughed 3 or 4 times still. To me it was not a comedy. It didn't keep me laughing. I still like this movie cause of the music and the early 2000th feel, but other than that I didn't like this movie.

While scrapping by as a supermarket clerk, he meets Carmen, a Sunday school teacher who seems immune to his bad-boy charm. Jackie Weaver as Kathleen Long
Mel Gibson as Bill Long
Teresa Ruiz as Carmen

On March 1, 2022 I was on YouTube watching Uncharted interview (don't ask) and I picked Mark on Ellen. Mark was also talking about his new movie Father Stu. And you know when somebody says it's based on a True Story I am right at the movies. For a moth I forgot about the movie. On the week of April 22 till April 24 I was at my friend's Natalie's house. On April 23, 2022 we went to see Sonic 2 that is where I saw the movie poster of Father Stu, and that is when I remembered the movie. When I got home on Sunday I looked up the movie to see where it was playing and when. It was only playing at the Hamilton Mountain at 6:55pm or 9:40pm. Not my ideal place or time. The week after I decided to look again to see if the show was playing at an earlier time. I found that it was playing at Hamilton Mountain (At this point I didn't care) at 4:10 on Thursday May 5, 2022. I jumped at the opportunity to go see this movie at the time that I loved. I enjoyed the movie very much. Maybe it's because I love Simon Birch or maybe cause I am Catholic, but I did really enjoy it. Not to mention that I been watching Mark Wahlberg movies recently. I mean the last movie review was Uncharted starting Mark Wahlberg lol. Ok, Nevermind, but it was the last movie I seen by myself in the movies. This movie also teaches you a lesson. If you love someone, you do anything for them.

I think in February I saw trailer fir Turning Red. It looked cute and I wanted to see this movie. On March 11, 2022 I was very close to watching this movie, but I ended up watching According To Jim on Disney+ instead. The next day I was on Netflix for some reason and saw the trailer for The Adam Project. Threw the day when I was at work I didn't know what movie to watch. I watched The Adam Project. On March 13, 2022 Cindy asked me if I wanted to watch a movie and that I can pick. I told her that I wanted to watch Turning Red. So we turned it on. I was even throwing her some facts from MisMojo's video on Turning Red. I loved this movie, and I don't really watch animation movies much. I feel like this is going to be the next big Pixiar movie. I also feel like the moral of the story is about Spirit Animals. Their was a scary part in the movie and Dodge wanted to protect her mommy. But all-in-all it was a great movie.

Uncharted Movie Review

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I am going to being doing a Movie Review on a new movie that I wanted to see. Uncharted. Uncharted came out on February 18, 2022. At the beginning of February I had a free movie on my Scene points and I didn't know what movie to see, ether Unchartered or Dog. So I put a pull on my InstaStory of the 2 movies and the majority of you Chameleons voted for Dog, but I did say to myself that I will see both . Before I go on I do want to say sorry for not posting any blogs after my Avril Lavigne Music Review blog. I am still writing Longest To Shortest Nickelodeon Shows blog. There is a lot of non-animation shows to write down, and I been putting it off cause it is long. They I decided last night that my blog ideas are piling up, so f it I am going to do the blog ideas and then come back to the Longest To Shortest Nickelodeon Shows.

On February 18, 2022 the movies came out with a new movie called, Uncharted. If any of you Chameleons have not seen Uncharted. Near the end of January I was on the movie site just seeing what movies were out. Then I saw that Uncharted and Dog were both out on February 18, 2022. After I read both of them I didn't know what movie to see. I had a free movie on my Scene points and I didn't know what movie to see. So I put a pull on my InstaStory of the 2 movies and the majority of you Chameleons voted for Dog. I did tell myself that I will watch both of them. On March 2, 2022 I decided that I was going to go to the movies on March 3, 2022. On March 3, 2022 I was going to go for the 1:15 showing. I left my house at 12:20 and had to turn back, I forgot my mask. When I grabbed the mask I heard the bus. I told Cindy that I missed the bus and I am going to the next showing at 4:15. I leave my house at 3:20, I switch buses, and get on the wrong bus. When I finally get to the movies, buy my ticket, and get my dinner I only missed 5 minutes of the movie. Nothing really happed yet. I also forgot to mention that this movie is based on the video game Uncharted, I don't play video games, but after seeing the trailer I wanted to see this movie.. Back to the story. While watching the movie I was trying to figure what parts form the movie was from the game. I did hear in an interview from Mark that you don't need to be a fan of the video game to see this movie. I am not an action movie fan, as in I would never go by myself, but I enjoyed this movie. Plus I did not hide in the washroom for 30 minutes like I did with House Of Gucci lol. I do have a feeling that their might be an Uncharted 2, cause it left on a cliffhanger. I did enjoy this movie.

Near the end of January I was on the movie site just seeing what movies were out. Then I saw that Uncharted and Dog were both out on February 18, 2022. I went a;; the way up to the movies and I had to turn around and go home. Something went wrong in the theatres to make the movie play at 1:15. On Wednesday February 23, 2022 I decided to go up to the movies to try to see Dog again. Also I thought I had a dentist appointment the next day.lol. Before I bought the ticket I wanted to call the movies to see if Dog was actually playing. They didn't answer. So I decided to buy the 1:15 ticket and go up, and if the same thing happed again just wait till 4 something for the next showing. The movie played at 1:15. I loved the movie, one of my favourites this year. The best part was after the movie when I got to go home and see my number 1 dog, Dodge. It was worth going up to the movies 2 times. First to try to see the movie, and the second time is to actually see the movie. The movie was also funny too. I loved the movie

Marry Me Movie Review

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I am going to do another Movie Review for a new movie that just came out. This movie is called, Marry Me, and it came out on February 11, 2022.

On February 11, 2022 the movies came out with a new movie, called, Marry Me. If you Chameleons don't know what this movie is about, I will tell you; Music superstar, Kat Valdez & Bastian are getting married before a global audience of fans. But Kate learns, seconds before her vows, that Bastian has been unfaithful. She decides to marry Charlie, a stranger in the crows instead.

The Cast
Jennifer Lopez as Kat Valdez
Owen Wilson as Carlie Gilbert
Maluma as Bastian
John Bradley as Collin Calloway
Sarah Silverman as Parker Debbs
Chloe Coleman as Lou Gilbert

When I went to go see House Of Gucci back in November of 2021 I saw the trailer for Marry Me. I thought it was cute and I wanted to go see the movie. A week before the movie came out I wanted to see when this movie came out. It said February 11, 2022. It was a contender to go see. Then last week I seen that I had a free Movie ticket with my Scene Points, and while I was deciding on what movie to go see, I didn't reallylly want to waste a free ticket on this movie. I didn't really want to. On February 14th after playing games online with my group of friends I decided to turn a movie on my Internet TV Box. I wanted to watch a Tom Hanks movie all day, and I decided to watch Marry Me instead. I got an hour in and shut this movie off and went to bed. Today on February 24, 2022 I decided to turn the movie back on and watch the last 52 minutes of the movie. Honestly I dragged on watching the last 52 minutes of the movie. As much as I wanted to see this movie its was cheesy and with seeing the trailer once, I knew what happened at the end. Plus, I didn't watch all of the end cause I fell asleep. My thought on watching this movie after an hour was they decide to cast 2 A-List celebrities that people know they are well loved just so people to go see this movie. Or people decide to go see this movie cause they are a huge Jennifer Lopez fs, or they are a huge Owen Wilson fan. As much as I wanted to see this movie, I didn't like the movie.I am not blaming the actors or actresses at all.

Like I say with every TV Series or Movie I do not like I want you Chameleons to know that it's never about the actors and/or actresses. And if there is a certain person that I don't like in a TV Series or Movie I will never give a Movie or TV Series a bad review just cause that person is in the TV Series or Movie ether.
