Remakes

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's post I wanted to tell you about remakes and my thoughts on them. As you Chameleons do know, I HATE remakes and the originals are way better. Even if I have not seen the originals.

How I started hating remakes is when I saw Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) and then decades later, in 2016 I heard that Victoria Justice is going to play Janet and Ryan McCartan is going to play Brad in the adaptations of Rocky Horror Picture Show. They couldn't do the movie justice (That was not suppose to be a joke) cause A LOT of people hated it. It was 28% on Rotten Tomatoes. No shade to Victoria, I even met her in 2008. That is not the point here. What I hate about remakes is that the kids these days don't want to see good movies and then can't wait to see Dirty Dancing staring Abigail Breslin. I am sorry kids, but if you want to see Dirty Dancing watch Dirty Dancing from 1987 and not some cheep crap. no hate towards Abigail Breslin.

One of my favourite movies is Everything Everything staring Amandla Steinberg and Nick Robinson in 2017. I said in videos before, Everything Everything is based on my life, to some existent cause I relate to it, and I love Nick Robinson. But also what I been mentioning is that my love for this movie is bigger than Nick Robinson. What I hate about this movie is that a year later Bella Thorne was doing a new movie, called, Midnight Sun. It's the same storyline. After I heard that I had such a hatred for this movie. For anyone who knows me I never have a hatred for anything. As a good friend I went to see Midnight Sun. I don't care if you are a big Bella Thorne fan, I hate this movie. I was even keeping a list of what they took from Everything Everything in my head, and by the time I got out of the movies I wanted to watch Everything Everything. We are not done yet Chameleons, oh no we are not. Towards the end of 2018 I heard that their was going to be a new movie, called, Five Feet Apart staring Haley Lu Richardson and Cole Sprouse in 2019. I wanted to see this movie and like this movie, cause I was being so hard on Midnight Sun. Plus I grew up watching The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and then The Suite Life On Deck. I saw this movie... and it hit more at home for me. Yes, I do not have CF (Cystic Fibrosis) but this movie is based in a hospital, people heare sick, bad lungs, feeding tubes, & other things all what I dealt with. Yes Five Feet Apart was remake of Everything Everything for some parts. Like being sick and having nurses, but I wanted to check this one out. Did I like this movie? It was ok. Was it one of my favourites? No. Would I want to see this movie again? No I don't. Do I watch Riverdale? No I do not at all lol. Sorry this was suppose to be about remakes, I just wanted to get my opinion of Five Feet Apart out there

There is even a female version on Ghostbusters, a modern day Jumanji staring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Instead of getting suck into a gameboard the kids are suck into a videogame. How disgusting . Later this year they are coming out with a Women In Black. CAN WE JUST STOP!!!!!! What is wrong with classics?? They're called CLASSICS for a reason. Leave them alone!!!!

Animation to Live action is different, but if they make too many animation to live action, like Cinderella it starts to get out of hand and annoying. Like how many different Cinderellas do we actually have??? Too many. That's how many.

Here is a list of all Originals to Remakes that I can think of, if there is more then one remake I will be writing down the most recent year:
Dirty Dancing - 1987 = 2017
Rocky Horror 1975 = 2016
Footloose 1984 = 2011
Jumanji 1995 = 2017
Grease 1975 = 2016
Chocolate Factory 1971 = 2005
Carrie 1976 = 2013
Parent Trap 1961 = 1998
Baywatch 1989-2001 = 2017 (Movie)
Freaky Friday 1976 = 2018
Everything Everything 2017 = 2018 (Midnight Sun)
The Mummy 1999 = 2017
Fame 1980 = 2006
The Wickerman 1973 = 2006
Nightmare on Elm 1984 = 2010
Alfie 1966 = 2004
Robo cop 1987 = 2004
Dawn Of The Dead 1978 = 2004
Nutty Professor 1966 = 1996
A Star Is Born 1937 = 2018
Native Son 1951 = 2019
A Christmas Carol 1938 = 2009
Scrooge 1951 = 1988
Babes In Toyland 1934 = 1961
Miracle On 34th Street 1973 = 1994
Grinch 1966 = 2018
Black Christmas 1974 = 2006
Amityville Horro 1979 = 2017
Nancy Drew 1938-1939 = 2019
Top Gun 1986 = 2020-Present

Just a few note before I end the blog:
1. The reason why I wrote "Everything Everything 2017 = 2018 (Midnight Sun)" and not 2019 (Five Feet Apart) is cause I felt like Midnight Sun is more of a remake. Even thought Five Feet Apart has similarities to Everything Everything to make it a remake
2. At first I did not want to see Jumanji 2017, but I just kept laughing
3. I talked myself into watching Native Son cause I love True Stories & I'm a huge fan of Nick Robinson

The Launch

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I am going to talk about The Launch and the contestants from both seasons. I will also be talking about some who were in the top 2, but did not win. I even got inspired to do this after talking to my sister-&-law on Facebook messenger on March 13.

The Launch premiered January 10, 2018 on CTV. The Launch is the next level from The Next Sta. It's based in Toronto. They audition 80 out of million Canadians. That 80 gets narrowed down to 5 to get on TV. Out of 5 the host, judge, and celebrity judge pick 2 to record the song that week. The winner gets Launched. Pretty basic on what the show is about. I have been a huge fan of The Next Star for years, but what I like about The Launch is that you hear about the winner (or the runner up) more, even when the show is done. Yes, there are some people from The Next Star that are still going strong today. Like Alyssa Reid & Brooklyn Roebuck.

I am going to go threw each season and tell you what the winners are doing now. I will even be saying some of what the runner ups are doing now too

Season 1 - Winners

Logan Staats - Being born on the Six Nations Reserve and being raised in a small town in Branford, Ontario he started writing and performing music in his early teen. At a young age, with his haunting and distinct voice has won him multiple opportunities to share the stage with acts like Buffy Sainte-Marie, Keith Secola and Mumford and Sons, to name a few. Still a young man, he is regarded as an accomplished, multi-nominated and an award winning artist. Forever a student of great music - Staats enjoys jamming, collaborating and learning from his contemporaries and other recording artists. A great example is a powerful late night live off the floor version of Bob Dylan’s “Don’t Think Twice” in collaboration with peer Terra Lightfoot. His live performances are juxtaposed by a level of self-possession and control that still wildly careen through emotions of sadness, hope, longing and joy. His songs are his own. Armed with his guitar and harmonica, he has transitioned from running the weekend bar circuit to playing sold out ven-ues across Canada including his favourite venue, The Sanderson Centre, in his hometown. Logan was on the first episode of The Launch in January of 2018. His single was ’The Lucky Ones’. His single topped the Canadian charts as the number 1 song in the country the day after it was released. He is currently on an open journey of art, expression, and culture. On March 15 he came out with his newest single called, Fear Of The Flame.

Elijah Woods x Jamie Fine - Elijah and Jamie came together as a music duo in early 2014 when the 2 met at Algonquin College in Ottawa, Ontario. Elijah, who was in college for a music program heard a recording go Jamie’s voice on a friend’s smartphone singing an original , Falling Down’ and was inspired to reach out to her to collaborate on music. They worked together for 2-3 years before releasing a string of digital singles in 2017. In September of 2017 the duo competed on the first season of The Launch, episode 2 (Witch aired January 2018). They’re single for that episode was Ain’t Easy. The song is the only coronation from the show to reach Canadian Hot 100. The single even went platinum in May of 2018 at the IHeartRadio concert. After the episode aired and with their success they won Best New Canadian Artist or Group at the IHeartRadio MMVA’s. They even came out with a new single on August 2018 , called ‘Better Off’ witch is also charting the Canadian Hot 100. On March 8, 2019 Elijah Woods x Jamie Fine came out with their first EP, , called, 8:47, with the hit singles Ain’t Easy & Better Off.

The Static Shift - Is a band from Calgary. The bad is made up by 3 guys, Mitchell Brady, Keone Friesen, & Isaiah Stonehouse. Before The Launch they made a full-length album in 2014 called, Windsor Street. In 2014, 2015, & 2016 the trio where the finalists in the International Songwriters Competition (out of more than 18,000 entries each year). In 2015 they came out with an EP; At Odds. 2 years later before they were on The Launch they made a 3rd album witch was other full-length album, Common Bliss. In 2016 & 2017 the trio were winners of the 2016 and 2017 YYC (Calgary) Music Awards for Rock Recording of the Year, nominees for Group of the Year at the 2016 YYC Music Awards, and winners of the Zachariah and the Prophets Memorial Award at the 2017 YYC Music Awards. And in 2017 They were National Semi-finalists in CBC's 2017 Searchlight Competition (Top 25 out of thousands of entries). In 2018 their episode of The Launched aired. Their single on The Launch was ‘Wide Awake’. Since after The Launch the trio ended up opening for Collective Soul, Billy Talent, & Kansas in summer of 2018.

POESY - I am not getting what POESY did before The Launch. So we are just going to say what she was influence by and her journey on The Launch. I did get this, in 2016 she came out with an EP called, The Spotless Mind. She is becoming the most exciting new voice in Canada. Her influenced by innovation enigmatic artists like Kate Bush & Freddie Mercury, along with 90s alternative rock queens PJ Harvey, Tori Amos, & Alanis Morissette. She even formed a gritty and unmistakable sound that demands to be hared. How she came up with her stage name POSEY is by getting inspiration from her favourite novels with vulnerable confession from her own life. POESY’s dark and powerful alt-rock rhythms makes it possible to dance, cry, wonder, and hope all at one. Now that I told you Chameleons about her being influenced and how she got her name POESY, lets move on to The Launch. In February of 2018 her episode of The Launch was on. Her single was Soldier Of Love. After being on The Launch she signed with a major label deal with Big Machine Label Group in May of 2018. To follow with the success of her single Soldier Of Love she went on to give spellbinding performances at several Canadian Music Festivals. In the fall of 2018 she came out with a new single titled, Strange Little Girl

Jayd Ink - She is an independent artist. Before The Launch she has accomplished a great deal of success with music. She has been releasing music since 2013 along with her background in poetry, watch allows her to her to effortlessly move through a myriad of musical genres. In 2015 she has been headlining shows in her hometown of Toronto since the release of her first EP, Invitation Only. In 2017 she performed in Japan alongside K. Camp, DJ Whoo, and Silento. Plus was recognized as “Toronto Musicians To Watch” by NOW Magazine. In February of 2018 her episode of The Launch was on. Her single was, Codes. After The Launch, I can’t really find out with she is doing with music Chameleons

Ethan Young - He was the youngest one, but that does not mean he can roll with the others. He proved that on The Launch. First thing first though, I am going to be telling you Chameleons what he has done before The Launch and then after the show. He had a love for performing and song writing from a very young age. He became one of the Mini Pop Kids, and performing for sold out shows across Ontario. He was on 3 of the MPK CDs. In early March of 2018 he was on The Launch. His single was, Giants. Ezra Jordan

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blogpost I want to let you know what happened on Friday, March 15th, 2019 at the Ezra Jordan & Myles Castello concert at Mill's Hardware Events.

First thing first, I bought 2 tickets, just cause it was downtown and I was not going downtown alone. Fast forward to March 15th. Just cause I am not saying what happened the night before. I go on the bus to downtown at 4:49pm to meet my friend at 5:30. I called her at 5 to remind her. After I called her I took the bus to her house to have dinner. To make this story go a bit faster lets go to almost 8pm when we were getting into the Mill's Hardware. My friend and I got into the venue and get our tickets scanned and an "X" on our hands, not cause we were under-age. Just so the ticket handler knows we checked in if we went outside. My friend and I bought our drinks and then sat down at a table near the stage.

Before Myles came on my friend did the 'Check In' on Facebook. I told her to scroll back up to the picture of Myles and Ezra just cause I kept looking at this guy who was siting across from us, talking to his friend (Not Myles. Myles was backstage about to perform). She looks at the picture and says "I don't think that's him. I mean I can see some resemblance, but I don't think that is him". The guy who was across from us gets up and goes backstage. He comes out after a few minutes when Myles is playing and him & his friend walk to the back near the equipment and bar. I get up look at my friend and say "I'll be back, I am going to talk to him." I go up and say hi to Ezra. He sees me and has a huge smile on his face and says "Hi Milly". Ezra asks me if I like Myles. I enjoyed him. He introduced me to his friend. We were also talking about Scott Helman, how I became a huge fan of him (Read about how I became a fan of Ezra in my last blog and watch my last Top 5 Thursday from March 7), and that he wrote his new single, Low (that came out March 15) with his drummer. He was also very glad that I made it to the show. I even ask him if we can take a picture together. I love that everybody crouchs down to my level in pictures lol. After we finished talking I went back to my friend and we kept listening and enjoying Myles performance for 10-15 more minutes. Ezra walks by us (we were sitting on the side of the stage that the door to the back stage was) he looks at me and points to a finger to himself and says "I'm next" and goes backstage. My friend looks at me and says "He has personality. I like that". Right before Ezra comes on I got in line to even meet Myles. I also got a picture with Myles Castello. Ezra comes on and he sings his originals, along with covers. Before he sings the cover of Cry Me A River by Justin Timberlake (It came out 20 years ago, he rounded it to 20 years) he's tells us "You should all know this song. If not, then you're in trouble". I just stand there awkwardly saying to myself "I don't know it. I don't remember the 90's" I knew it. After his concert was over he walked out the backstage door and right to my friend & I and stopped to talk with us. Ezra and my friend introduced each other, asked if we enjoyed the show, and him and my friend were talking about how he is traveling to the shows. Cause after we leave he and his band were packing everything up and then going to London, Ontario right after. Before Ezra left we had a hug. I even had my drink in my hand when we hugged. I had to stretch to look at him lol. The tallest person hugging the shortest person.

My friend & I go back to her house and made coffee with Baylie's, watch an end of Avengers with her kids, then watched Netflix, and went to bed.

Unrecornition Talent & The Music Industry

In Today’s blog I decided to tell you Chameleons my thoughts on the music industry and real talent that is not being noticed, among all the Disney/YTV Stars - Teenybopper and IHeartRadio. Please keep in mind that I am not hating on Disney, YTV, and IHeartRadio, cause I do love them. I am just saying that with most Disney and/or YTV Stars these days they just pick up off the street and some are not really good, and are talentless, like Miranda Cosgrove (Just my opinion on Miranda). Then you have the IHeartRadio Stars who are ether brand spanking new or you never heard about them at all. I got inspired to do this post when I was talking to myself about the music industry and then saying it out loud to Squid on my way to Union Station Bus Terminal on Monday and I was even reading some of the comments on Greyson Chance's interviews over the last week. Not to mention how much fun he was having on stage last Saturday. I also want to say that yes, Alyssa Reid is more recognizable now, but  Just my opinion

Their is 4 categories of music
  1. Disney/YTV Teenyboppers
  2. IHeartRadio
  3. Unrecognition for Extornary talent
  4. Featured artist

Lets break this down:
Disney/YTV Teenyboppers - We all fall involve with Disney darlings and YTV darlings. But tell me, do you hear about them anymore? Not really. After their Disney and the YTV days they try really hard to stay reverent. Like Sabrina Carpenter and Bella Thorne. Let’s face it, Sabrina will only have tween fans. In fact they all will have tween fans.

IHeartRadio - Ok so this one has been a very good outlet for Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato. Miley Cyrus, Hilary Duff (back in the days) who got out of Disney. IHeartRadio is also a good way to start off a career, like for Scott Helman & Michelle Treacy. What I don’t like is that they have people in the IHeartRadio category is people lie Camila Cabello who exited out of a terrible band (Again, my opinion) and thinks she can go go solo after one song with the popular Shawn Mendes. Speaking of Shawn, I do really love him. I love that he is his self on stage, but I don’t like that half of his fans are girls just cause he is cute and not focusing on his talent.

Unrecognition for Extornary talent - Here are some of the singers, out of the handful, that go unrecognized with the amount of talent they have. I am going to say a few:

Greyson Chance - In April 2010 he performed a cover of Lady Gaga's song 'Paparazzi' at a 6th grade music festival. His dad filmed him singing and put it up online for fun. With the help of his brother the video caught the eye of Ellen DeGeneres. Since he was on Ellen in 2010 he came out with his first single called, Waiting Out The Lines. He even opened up for Miranda Cosgrove on her Dancing Crazy tour. They even both went on Ellen to perform Dancing Crazy. He also started the Waiting 4U tour with Cody Simpson. His second single, Unfriend You came out May of 2011. Later in 2011 his first album, Hold On To The Night came out that summer. Airana Grande was in his music video for Unfriend You. In 2015 he rebased a new single called, Afterlife. This was his first song that he ended up writing. Along with his 2 singles to follow, Hit & Run and Back On The Wall. In 2016 along with his EP, Somewhere Over My Head came out he ended up doing some feature work in 2016 & 2017 and one featured work in 2018. In 2017 with all his featured work he came out with 2 singles, Seasons & Low. Last year he came out with 2 singles: Good As Gold & 21. In the fall of 2018 he announced that he was going on tour and has a new CD coming out. His new CD, Portrails comes out March 15th, 2019. How I found out about him is from Ellen in 2010 when he was 12. I been listening to Waiting Outside The Lines since I first heard the song. The Unfriend You. I saw him live this year in 2019 when he performed in Toronto on March 2nd (That is my original picture)

Ezra Jordan - When he was 18 he suffered a terrible boating accident that injured his leg. It forced his to put piano training on hold during his recovery process. That is when he turned to singing and songwriting as an outlet. When he was back on his feet he went on tour with Scott Helman to play keyboards for him and sing backup too. After going on tour with Scott he ended up going to school is L.A for Music Insitude to focus to focus on his solo career. He returned back to Toronto, Canada where he is playing gigs all over GTA. He is currently on an Ontario tour. How I found out about Ezra is from a new show called, The Launch. The Launch is the next level from The Next Star. It's based in Toronto. They audition millions of Canadians. That 80 gets narrowed down to 5 to get on TV. Out of 5 the host, judge, and celebrity judge pick 2 to record the song that week. The winner gets Launched. When his episode was on, in 2018, it was the perfect episode. I din't know who I wanted to win between him or Poesy. After Poesy won I decided to see what this guy had on iTunes. He had 3 and now he is about to have 6 songs on iTunes, cause his newest single, Low comes out March 15th

Brooklyn Roebuck - In 2013 she was on the 5th season of The Next Star and won. Since winning she recorded 2 winning singles, Lemon & Lime and One Of Those Days. In 2014 she came out with a 4 song EP called, Storyteller. A year later she came out with her 3rd single, Good Day. Last year she came out with 3 singles. Bad Seed, Things I Don't Miss, and Barn Burner. How I started being a fan of Brooklyn is by watching The Next Star since 2008. With every song she comes out with I immediately download them.

Tiffany Alvord - She learned piano in elementary school and wrote her first song at the age of 10. When she was 14 she taught herself how to play guitar. In April of 2008 at the age of 15she published her first video on YouTube. At first she posted covers of popular songs. In 2011 she made her first CD of covers, called, I Got I Covered Part 1. Later in the same year she even came out with her first CD of original songs, called, My Dream. Next year, in 2012 she won first place in Artist Signal with the prize of $25,000 in prizes. In the same year, she rebased her 2nd cover song CD, titled, I Got It Covered Part 2 and later her 2nd CD with original songs, called, My Heart Is. She even performed at the New York's New Years Eve in Time Square In 2013 she headlined a tour in 4 different countries in South Asia. She also co-headlined a U.S tour with Jason Chen. How I became a fan of Tiffany is buy, clicking on one of her on YouTube. A cover and then an original

Reed Deming - When he was 18 he was on the X factor season 2. He got a yes from all 4 judges, Simon Cowell, L.A Reed, Britney Spears, and Demi Lovato. He made it to top 24 and then made it into the top 6 in the teen category on Britney Spears' team. In July of 2013 he came out with a 6 song EP, Calle, Ridiculous. The next year he came out with another EP called, Satellite . 2015 he came out with his first EP of songs he written. Next year in 2016 he even wrote 2 singles himself. Called, California Coastline & Take You You. He even was on the road performing his music and did almost 50 shows in the US & Canada. In 2017 he came out with a handful of singles. In 2018 he came out with a 6 song EP called, Follow My Heart To Freedom.
How I became a fan of him was by landing on his Twitter in 2014 from one of his songs or he retweeted a fan about one of his songs. So I decided to check out the music for myself.

Victoria Duffield - In 2010 she was on The Next Star season 3. She won 2nd place. Since after The Next Star she released 3 singles the next year: Secrets, Bam Bam, & Hey after signing with Warner Music Canada, also in the same year in 2011 she came out with her debut single, Shut Up & Dance. She even released a French/English version of Shut Up & Dance with Lukay. A year later in 2012 she came out with 3 new singles: Feel, Break My Heart, & They Don’t Know About Us (Feat Cody Simpson) along with her first EP called, Shut Up & Dance in the same year. At the end of 2012 she went on tour with Faber Drive to promote her EP. In 2013 she recorded music in L.A. Her 2nd CD, Accelerate with released in early summer of 2014 and failed to chart in any countries. However, its lead single, "More Than Friends", reached number 49 on the Canadian Hot 100. She even went on tour with Backstreet Boys on the second North American leg of their In A World Like This Tour. During the tour she sustained injuries to her vocal chords and got surgery resulting in a brief hiatus from performing. She was suppose to have a single coming out in 2017, but was informed thatWarner Music Canada let her go. The next year she Independently released in nearly 4 years, called, WOW along with 3 more singles to follow: Get Me High, My Mistake, & Remember You. Later in the same year, she released her 3rd CD, titled, Day Won.
How I became a fan of hers is by watching The Next Star since 2008, but even though Isabelle Stern was my favourite one that year I been downloading her music since day one.

Feature Artist - A singer who just sings with someone else or sings their songs. Take Olivia Holt for an example, Olivia was a Disney Star on the hit show I Didn't Do It & Kickin It. She was also in DCOM such as: Girl vs Monster. After her acting she did some songs while being on the Disney and then a 4 EP CD called, Olivia EP. In 2017 her first non Disney single came out, titled, Generous. Since Generous you only hear her on other people songs. Example:
Party On A Week Day by MYBADD (Feat. Olivia Holt)
16 Steps by Martin Jensen (Feat. Olivia Holt)
Wrong Move by R3hab (Feat. Olivia Holt)
Sad Song by We The Kids (Feat. Olivia Holt)
Paradise by Brandon Beal & Olivia Holt

I remembered seeing Sabrina Carpenter on tour and maybe I am bias cause I saw Greyson and I am seeing Ezra this Friday, or maybe they are older than Sabrina, but they can put on a show (I have seen InstaStories and InstaVideos on Ezra perform). I am not saying that Sabrina can perform, cause she can. I saw her live in Toronto in 2016 and I like her music now. And she does deserve all her fans she gets. It just seems like all her fans are teenyboppers who are not old enough to drink and yet she has concerts in bars for them to come too. Just my opinion again. When I saw Sabrina it was at the MOD Club, and half of the audience where kids/teens with on “X” their hands to let people know not to serve them. I also felt like my friend and I where the oldest people there. Minis there the kids/teens parents that night

I don't know about you Chameleons, but I am getting tried of hearing the same IHeartRadio stars, and the same Disney Stars/Teenybopper who don't really do much after Disney. I am not saying that the Disney Stars are talented, cause some are and IHeartRadio stars are talents, cause some/most are. It's time for what talent looks like. Give them a listen, and discover something new

Best Day In Toronto

For today's blog I am going to tell you my best day in Toronto yesterday. I won't go in too much detail, cause there will be a StoryTime Sunday video next Sunday on the whole day. Along with funny stories.

It all started when I heard that Greyson Chance was playing in Toronto, back in November. I texted Squid and he replied "Better get tickets". My aunt and uncle is getting married in July and they were having there Stag & Doe in March. I knew it was in March, but I didn't know what day. I decided to ask my aunt so it does not overlap with the concert. It did. They were both on the same day. Now, how I heard about Casey Holmes, Itsbl0die on YouTube. She is a Beauty Guru.  in Toronto. Fast forward to February 27. I get a notification on my phone from Instagram from Casey and after I saw the words "Canada", "Toronto" & "Meet & Greet" I immediately called Squid, and told him in excitement. He asked me what day and I said March 2 at 1-3.

Lets move on to the actual day. I go to my bus to go downtown for 9:40am. I walk pass my neighbour's house and him and his dad got their boots and coat on and caught up to me at the bus, did I forget to mention that the little boy was 2. I go to Tim Horton's and have breakfast. I get on the Go Bus at 11:07am. I listen to Grey Chance on my iPod and then have a nap. Cause I always have a nap in Toronto and I knew I couldn't that day. I also win a free coffee. FINALLY! I get into Toronto and wake up. Find Squid and we go to Shoppers on Yonge & Eglinton were Casey is. I had to buy a palette that was only $22. At first Squid had an idea just to run to Casey and snap a picture. Just so I didn't have to spend money on a palette. I got the palette and a wristband. Outside was cold. I talked to the security guard for a bit about how I found Cassy's channel, almost met Megan Parken, and what I do on YouTube. They only let 4 in at a time to meet her. Talking to Casey was very casual. Even though I was shaking and my heart was beating very loud. I told her that I go into Toronto once a weekend a month and that I am seeing Greyson Chance tonight. Plus also that Ellen DeGeneres was was in town to do a show the next day, March 3. She was like "Of course, the day after I leave" and then we were talking about Chipotle and asked what she recommends. Cause a girl from Canada who sees Chipotle in Toronto now and never been wouldn't know what to get. I gave her the little blue giraffe I had in my laundry basket with my stuff pigs. I told her that the pigs are not for sale and she was like "We don't want that". She even signed my palette. After that Squid and I go to his place. We had lunch, a nap, and dinner. Later that night, Squid and I went to The Drake's Hotel. So we thought was The Drake's Hotel. Long story short, we made it to The Drake Hotel. I will say the whole story in my StoryTime video. All the funny stories will be in the video. After Squid and I get our drinks he stays at the bar and I go in to the crowd. Greyson Chance fans are the nicest fans I have ever met. When Greyson first came on I couldn't believe that I was there. I been a fan of his since Waiting Outside The Lines in 2010/2011, I should have started with that. We got to hear all his new songs on his new CD that comes out March 15. He also sang some of his songs that we knew. Like Seasons, Good As Gold, Low, and some songs from his Somewhere Over My Head EP. Near the end of his show he was touching the crowds hands and I was putting my hand up, an audience beside me sees this and pushes me closer to the stage and the people infant of me move. I had my hand up still and... You have to wait till the video on March 10.

All About Kim Possible

On February 22nd, 2019 Disney Channel came out with a new Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM).  The Live-Action Kim Possible. Fun fact; This is the very first Disney Channel Live-Action from an animation series.

The movie is starting
Sadie Stanley as Kim Possible
Sean Giambrone as Ron Stoppable
Ciara Riley Wilson as Athena
Todd Stashwick as Dr. Drakken
Taylor Ortega as Shego
Issac Ryan Brown as Wade
Alyson Hanngian as Ann Possible
Connor & Owen Fielding as Jim and Tim Possible
Connie Ray as Nana Possible
Erika Tham as Bonnie

Christy Carlson Romano also gave Sadie the stamp of approval for being the new Kim Possible for the Live-Action movie. Christy also made an appearance in the movie as Poppy Blu.

I do want to say that I wanted to watch this movie, but I didn't know the release date. I watched caitlovesdisney's video on Kim Possible and I immediately went to Disney Channel after her review, and before the spoilers. While watching this movie I found what I didn't like and started making a list. Along with the stuff I liked too. I thought I should make a Casual Friday on the movie. Here is my video;

Pros & Cons:
Pros:
* Gives me the animation vibe
* Keeps true to the Kim Possible series
* Kim's, Shego's, Ron's, & Dr. Drakken's costumes are on point
* The movie was filmed in B.C, Canada

Cons:
* No credits at the start
* Changing Monique's name
* Athena being Kim Possible's friend, just so she can be the next Kim Possible
* Bonnie being a year ahead
* Kim & Ron being freshmen
* Fighting on Disney Channel
* Dr. Drakken using Instagram
* The starting credits are at the end

In the end-all I enjoyed this movie, I really liked it. I just have move more cons than pros, but I did not find myself hating this movie at all.
