Kesha - High Road Music Review

Hey my lovely Chameleons, in today's blog I was going to do a Movie Review on, Just Mercy. But when I first started I went to Disney+ and forgot all about the blog lol. I was having dinner and heard that POESY has a new music video out for a song off her EP that came out in October of 2019. When I got home I decided to check if it was a new single. it's off of her EP. Then I saw that under new music, Kesha came out with her new CD, High Road. I felt like I wanted to do a review for you all.

It all started on October 21, 2019 when she came announced her new CD, High Road and on October 23, she came out with her first single from the CD, Raising Hell. A month later she came out with her second single, My Own Dance. On December 11, she came out with her third single, Resentment, and her last single before the CD came out on January 31, 2020. You know the drill. First I will say the track list and then say what I think of the CD.

Track List:

1. Tonight
2. My Own Dance
3. Raising Hell (Feat. Big Freedia)
4. High Road
5. Shadow
6. Honey
7. Cowboy Blues
8. Resentment (Feat. Brian Wilson, Sturgill Simpson, & Wrabel)
9. Little Bit Of Love
10. Birthday Suit
11. Kinky
12. The Potato Song (Cuz I Want Too
13. BFF (Feat. Wrabel)
14. Father Daughter Dance
15. Chasing Thunder
Bonus Track
16. Summer

What I love best about this CD is that Kesha is back and better than ever. While listening to this CD I heard the Tik Tok Kesha from 2009, just being herself and enjoying and having fun with her music. I don't really have a favourite song, but I do love Resentment, Raising Hell, Father Daughter Dance, & Tonight.

Writers From The Block 21

Hey my lovely Chameleons. If you see the title, that means I went to the first showcase of 2020 on January 16, 2020. I couldn't wait for the show. Even though January 2, 2020 was the first Thursday of the month there was no show. I found this out on December 30th.

On January 16, I put my Alyssa Reid shirt back on since October 17, when I last went to Writers From The Block. December 5th I wore a different shirt. Anyway, back to what happened, I went on the city bus at 2:26 to make it for the Go Bus at 3:10. Squid had a computer guy over to help with his computer, so I travel to his and Ink's house by street car and their city bus. I didn't get lost this time. By the time I made it to Squid's place I had dinner. At 6:30 their friend came over for a bit. We left at 7:45 and I made it in the door at a little after 8.

I go in and pay my money. Valerie sees me and we start talking. Then I put my bag on the table and my coat on the back of the chair. I decide just to stand up and be different then just sit when I first come in lol. After standing for a bit I decide to get water. After that I sit down.

The first person, who was, Heather Janssen, came on. She was very good. I ended up downloading her song Checkin' Up that she performed. After she was done I decided to buy a Corolla beer instead of my regular vodka coke. I bought the beer and then I just walked back to my spot, while carrying my coat. Before break was done I was standing in front of a family and asked if I was blocking them. The mom said no, but she was going to tell me when her daughter was playing. I thought her daughter was Taylor Jackson, so I was wanted to say "I think I owe you a hug". She wasn't Taylor, she was Allegra Jordyn. Just then break was done, and Danielle Knoll performed. She was really good. After Danielle, we where on break. Just then I see Trevor Dubois (CharlieTheKid) comes in. I wave and he sees me. After he grabs a beer we talk for a bit. He even asked me if I been here all night. I was and I told him he only missed 2 people (Heather & Danielle). We both have not seen the place so crowded. We kept holing our beers to keep our hands warm lol. And then somebody from the crowd, who has been here before and knows me said goodbye to me when he was leaving. After we talked the third performer, Kubla came on. I enjoyed his performance. After his performance we were on break. I just walked around with my beer. Break was done and Allegra Jordyn came on. I am very glad that I didn't say to her that I owed her a hug lol. I loved her performance. During her performance Squid walks in. After her performance I go to Squid and tell him about the show and all what happened before he came in. Then I had to go to the washroom. From the washroom I heard that everyone was singing Happy Birthday to the photography guy, Daniel's birthday. I come up and sing. After we were done I went to Squid and I told him "Good thing it wasn't for me this time, cause I was in the washroom." LOL. Right before Taylor came on I told Squid that I am going to find Heather to talk and take a picture with her. When I was done talking Noa came up on stage and introduced Taylor. Bad timing for me. I told Squid that I was going to the front. I stood beside Heather. Plus where I was standing, I was there all night.  I really loved Taylor. After Taylor was done I was trying to make my way back to Squid, until I got stoped by someone who told me thank you for coming and my apperaction for the show (He's seen me before a few times). When the show was all done I was trying to find Taylor to give her a hug. She posted her Writers From The Block picture on her InstaStory and she said "Pls come hug me". So that is what I did. I looked at her and said "I think I owe you a hug". We hugged and she looks at me and said that she remembers talking to me on Instagram. After I took the group shot Squid & I went home.

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I am going to be doing my CD Review for Tenille Arts new CD, Love, Heartbreak, & Everything In Between. Sorry this review is a week late. At first I didn't know if I wanted to do this, and then after I was inspired to do my Rare CD Review I decided, hey, I miss these Music Reviews I use to do in 2015. This is also not a replacement blog from Writers From The Block on January 2, 2020, cause you Chameleons didn't want one lol. I am ok with that. In the meantime, here is my Music Review for Tenille Arts new CD, Love, Heartbreak, & Everything In Between.

Then on December 10, 2019 she announced on Instagram that she is coming out with he sophomore CD, Love Heartbreak, & Everything In Between. Here is the track list.

Track List:

1. Somebody Like That
2. Slow It Down
3. Wild Love
4. Butterfly Effect
5. I Hate This
6. Nothing To See Here
7. Another Life

To be quite honesty with you Chameleons, I listened to this CD more than I thought I would. I love her voice and this CD. Selena Gomez - Rare CD Review

Hey my lovely Chameleons. I am very sorry that I was M.I.A on my blogs and I had no replacement blog from Writers From The Block on December 19. Before I go on I want to start by saying Merry Christmas & Happy New Year. Today is the first blog of the new decade. So today is my log anticipating replacement blog. I wanted to do a Movie Review on A Beautiful Day In The Neighbourhood from when I saw the movie back in December when I saw the movie with Jackie for my birthday (2 days before), but that is not gonna happen. On January 10 we got a new CD from Selena Gomez. For the last day I been watching reaction videos on YouTube for her new CD and it inspired me to write my Music Review blogs I use to in the pass. I know my last one was in 2015 on Hilary Duff's new CD, Breathe In Breathe Out. There wasn't even a no Writers From The Block show on January 2, 2020. I asked on my Instagram poll if you Chameleons want a replacement blog for January 2, 2020, and the majority of you said No. That being said, here is my long anticipating replacement blog from December 19's Writers From The Block show.

On October 23, 2019 we got a brand new single from Selena Gomez called, Lose You To Love Me, and then the next day Selena surprised up us with another single, Look At Her Now. It was not till November 21, 2019 that she gave us the news about a new CD coming out next year. It was 3 weeks later she released the CD name. She even said that this is her most personal CD. Now that we got all the impotents out of the way, like the dates. Here is the track list and my thoughts on Rare.

Track list:
1. Rare
2. Dance Again
3. Lose You To Love Me
4. Look At Her Now
5. Ring
6. Vulnerable
7. People You Know
8. Let Me Get Me
9. Crowded Room (with 6LACK)
10. Kinda Crazy
11. Fun
12. Cut You Off
13. A Sweeter Place (Feat. Kid Cudi)

I was very excited for this CD since November. Also cause I love Selena Gomez. On January 10th I bought this CD after I bought Ezra Jordan's new single, Cliffs. Cliffs by Ezra Jordan was actually my first song purchase of 2020. I told myself and him that Cliffs was going to be my first purchase of 2020. The first time I listened to the Rare CD fully I fell asleep. This morning I listen to the full CD again and I found my favourite song. Other than Lose You To Love Me, my favourite song off this CD is Cut You Off.

After listening to this CD I can honesty say that I am not a huge fan of the CD, but I do like it, it's just not my favourite. I would that, her last CD, Revival in 2015 was her most personal CD. Revival is even my favourite CD from her. With my star rating, I will have to give it a 3.8/5. The reason is is cause it's not the best, but it's not the worst. I like this CD, I just thought after Lose You To Love Me came out all the songs were going to be that personal. Plus I did fall asleep when I first listen to the CD. Sorry, Selena. Keep in mind though, I was very tired when I first listened to the CD.
