A Year Of Writers From The Block

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I decided to tell you Chameleons about Writers From The Block. They didn't have a Live Streams the week. So why would I be telling you about Writers From The Block? Well, I decided to tell you Chameleons all the funny stories that has happened in the pass 1 year. Yes, Writers From The Block had there first show on April 4, 2019. I thought for the year anniversary of Writers From The Block, I will commemorate all the funny stories from all the shows that I have been at.

Before I get started with the stories I do want to say that I found out about this showcase from Instagram, back in March of 2019 and wanted to go. I called Squid and told him about this new music concert. He told me if I can get more information about this show, we can check it out. I probably asked a tone of questions and let them know that I was over the age of 19. Then again, it was at a bar. I went, and during the second showcase on April 18, I decided that Writers From The Block is my favourite place. Along with going every bi-weekly, comes stories. And not just that, funny stories..

April 4, 2019

Story 1 Squid and I were lost and used his Maps on his his phone to find out how far we where from the B-Side Lounge. After Charliethekid (Trevor Dubois) perfomed I went up and talked to him. We talked about the important stuff; Getting lost, The Launch, Shaina Twain, Alcohol, and I think I threw in Greyson Chance too.

Story 2 When Jayde perform, she was singing Ultra Violence and I always say "Ultra Violet". When I went up to talk to her I told her that I always say "Ultra Violet" by mistake.

April 18, 2019

Story 1 2 weeks before the show, I got the lineup for Writers From The Block. I decided to make a YouTube playlist; Writers From The Block. I keep forgetting to update the playlist, since July. While making the playlist I been listening to all of Sarah Carmosino songs. I decided not to tell her "Hi, I'm Milly. I been listening to your songs for the last 2 weeks." I went up to her and said "Hi, I'm Milly. I been listing to your songs for the last 2 weeks." Good things is, she liked that. I thought she would be mad that I only started listening to her.

Story 2 When Valerie performed I couldn't help that she looked like Debrah Messing a little. When she was done I pulled up a picture of Debrah, went up to her, and told her that she looks like her a bit. After I showed she looked at Noa and said "This girl says I look like her." Noa saw the resemblance with the red hair and face.

May 16, 2019

Story 1 After the first performer, AArsyI grabbed a pop. Cause the Caesar I had before I went made me thirsty for something cold, and not alcohol. I go to the bar, order and hear someone say "Hi Milly." Looked to my left and I see Ezra sitting beside where I was standing. Next Noa comes over and Ezra asks her if she met me yet. I had had my hand out and my head said "We weren't firmly introduced. She just says ""Milly comes to every show." I was like in my head "Ok, I'll put my hand away now." lol. He just smiles and says "Milly's great. She even came to my show in..." (I'm still not saying).

Story 2 After the third fourth performer, Noa performed I messaged Squid to tell him that we are on a break. He messaged me saying ok and that him and Ink were outside. I decided to go outside and talk to them for a bit till the last performer, Ezra came on. I went outside and told them that I have time to come outside before Ezra Jordan came on. Right after I said that Squid was playfully guiding me to the cab and said "Time to go." Told them that I am not leaving and if they wanted to come in for the last performance. They decided to wait outside. It was May and it was nice.

June 6, 2019

Story 1 A few weeks before the show I got the lineup for the show. I was very excited to see that my 2 favourites from The Launch, season 2, Trevor LaRose & Michelle Treacy were performing on June 6th. On my way to Toronto on the day I messaged Allie saying that I am seeing my 2 favourites from The Launch, season 2. She asked if I am seeing them In Real Life.... I just shock my head in shame and messaged her yes, in real life.

Story 2 When Squid & I were in the B-Side Lounge all the tables were taken, so we sat at the bar. I found an empty seat at a table, went up and asked I can sit there. I didn't sit there and went back to Squid. Later I found out that was Michelle Treacy's parents at the table.

July 4, 2019

Story 1 I went up and I talked to Jake Feeney. We talked about music, writing, and Writers From The Block. I told him that I lost my guitar. Till this day I don't know where it is. I lost it in a move. Not sure if that was funny, but I thought I should add this.

July 18, 2019

Story 1 I went inside waiting to pay my money. Thought I saw Noa, and tried to pay Rae Fawn the $10 to get in. After I realized that was not Noa I tucked my money back in my pocket. After Rae performed I decided to go up to her and said "Sorry I did not introduce myself after making you try to take my money. My name is Milly."

Story 2 On my way to the washroom I saw Chad Price. He was the last performer. After he was done I decided to go up to him and said to him "Let's try this again, Hi Chad."

August 15, 2019

Story 1 No funny stories

September 5, 2019

Story 1 After Cindi performed I ended up meeting her. Since she swears a lot I told her that I swear, but I don't say the f word. She says to me that she'll say it for both of us LOL.

Story 2 While Kelsey Vaz was performing, Squid comes in, touch my shoulder, and I go Whoa. Right when I say Whoa, everyone goes Whoa.

September 19, 2019

Story 1 Valerie asked me what's new. So I told her that Philly is turning 4 next Tuesday. After I told her Trevor LaRose comes up and asks who I have been. Valerie told Trevor that Philly, my dog is turning 4 next week. Everyone knows & loves Philly, but has not met him

Story 2 While the fifth performer, Stephen Lecky was on and during his first song he invited Valerie & Bryn up. They played a song that they wrote 2 weeks ago, but rewrote it last night. He said there was a joke in the song and we all chuckled. Then he looks at me and says "This girl

October 17, 2019

Story 1 Before Grace Bakker performed she tapped me on the shoulder and startled me. She wanted to talk to me before it was her turn to perform. After she performed I went up and talked to her and her girlfriend, Molly and told them that I am going to to be seeing Greyson Chance on November 7, 2019. And that is why I am not coming. Also if people from from Writers From The Block just please kindly send me back to the MOD Club across the street. I killed them laughing.

December 5, 2019

This was even my birthday. A lot has happen on my birthday at Writers From The Block. But we are just focusing on the funny stories.

Story 1 After the third performer, Aarys was done and we were on break I saw they guy with a ponytail sticking out of his head. I went up to him and said we use to do that to my cousin on year. He asked me what I think of the ponytail. Me being nice I told him I like it. He told me he looked like a Teletubbie and he feels like Tink Winky and if I ever seen the show. I told him yes. He asked how old I was, and I just said 27 today.

Story 2 When I found Aarys I went up to tell her that I agree that dogs should not get Instagram. I even said that Philly, my roommate & my dog is always on my Instagram, and everyone loves him. He is not allowed his own Instagram page.

January 16, 2020

Story 1 I actually don't remember any funny stories.

March 5, 2020

Story 1 Ok, so this isn't funny by any means, but I thought I should say this. I finally met Nick Babcock and his girlfriend, Lilah from there group Your Paris. Nick asked me how I was w]and that we finally get to see each other. I told him the reasons why I didn't come the last 2 times he played. He asked me how my YouTube Channel is doing, and I told him my March schedule. Later I told Valerie my March schedule. The reason why I said that, is cause I'm not doing YouTube anymore, and that was after I told them about how the channel is.

Story 2 Here is a better and funnier story. I went up to Amber Jo and I quoted a line from Love Simon. "I like your boots." She had nice boots on. I didn't know this till the weekend.

Live Streams

March 16-21

Story 1 On Wednesday I totally forgot about the Live Stream at 9pm. When I tuned in at 9:27pm Allegra Jordyn was signing out. I decided to go over to her Live Stream on her channel to make sure no one noticed that I did not tune in.

March 23-27

Story 1 The only thing that I can think of writing on here, was on Tuesday night, Elishia didn't want to leave us. So she was trying to make her time longer by singing a goodbye song on the spot. It was so cute.

Writers From The Block 26 - Live From Home Live Stream (week 2)

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I will be doing another Writers From The Block Live From Home Live Stream for the second week of social isolation. Between Monday till Saturday at 9pm Their is one performer for 25 or 30 minutes. This week it's Monday till Friday and Friday is TBA (To Be Announced)

Before I go on with the performers I was talking to Squid on Monday and told him that I haven't hard anything from Writers From The Block this week and he said, since they are a bi-weekly showcase, maybe they are doing the live stream bi-weekly too. I never thought of that. Here we are, week 2 starting on March 23rd.

Monday:

Michelle Treacy - Day 1, week 2 of social isolation. What better way to start, then with Michelle Treacy. I loved her performance. I was singing along to all her songs, and even her 4 new ones. She even sang Ashs To Ashs & her song, Emotional from The Launch. I even watched her live stream concert on Sunday and I was freaking over her piggy onesie lol. I even have a piggy onesie. Ok, let's stop talking about onesies. She knows how to get the week started.

Tuesday:

Elishia - Day 2, week 2 of social isolation we have Elishia. Whom is actually from Australia. Last year she came to Toronto with Brooklxn and they both performed at Writers From The Block. Another time, Bryn FaceTimed her on stage to sing along. Let's get started on her performance. I liked Elishia's performance. She sang a bunch of new ones and one that she sang before. At the end of her performance period she didn't want to get off, so she sang a goodbye song on the spot. It was the cutest thing I have ever heard on Writers From The Block Live Stream from Home.

Wednesday:

Jesse Gold - Day 3, week 2 of social isolation and we have music from Jesse Gold. He has played at Writers From The Block before, but this is the first time I have seen him. I didn't go when he played at the B-Side Lounge on October 3. I didn't lose track of time, like last Wednesday when I remembered at 9:30, and when I clicked on the Live Stream Allegra Jordyn was done. So I went to her Live after the show to make sure no one notice I was not tuned in lol. Back to his performance. I really enjoyed his vibe. He sang 4 songs, I think (I know, I'm bad at song count) and a few covers. My favourite cover of his that he did was Is This Love by Bob Marley. He even did a mash up of a bunch of covers at the end.

Thursday:

Nicole Cerminara - Day 4, week 2 of social isolation we have Nicole Cerminara at the Writers From The Block Live From Home Live Stream. I liked her performance. I was very glad that I was not watching 2 Live Streams at once, so I can focus on Nicole's performance. Then again I was also checking out Amazon Prime for new Celebrity Honesty Opinions research lol. I loved her just go with it songs. Like her songs Peggy & No More Books On The Bookshelf.

Friday:

TBA - Chris Odayy - Day 5, week 2of social isolation. Today we had a TBA, and at 2pm or io we got to now who was performing. Chris Odayy was our TBA. I couldn't wait for Writers From The Block tonight. I had a shitty day and Writers From The block makes me escape reality for a bit. That is how you know you found your favourite place. Moving on. I enjoyed Chris's performance. He sang al his older songs & one cover. Chris Odayy played at Writers From The Block before on July 18, 2019

Ether if Writers From The Block is online or in person it's still my favourite place. It even makes me escape reality. It took me 26 years to find my favourite place and I also celebrated my 27th birthday at Writers From The Block. Best Birthday ever., on December 5, 2019.

If you have not went to seen Writers From The Block, I highly recommend going or seeing Writers From The Block. Writers started April 4th of last year and during the second show on April 18th, I established that Writers From The Block is my favourite place. I even wrote a blog post about it on April 4th and then again on April 18th too. That's how Writers From The Block blogs came tp be. If I can't make a show I will do a replacement blog. I met sp money people and a lot from The Launch too.

Writers From The Block 25 - Live Form Home Live Stream (week 1)

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I am going to be doing my Writers From The Block blog. You Chameleons might be looking at me saying "We are in Social Isolation. Writers From The Block is suppose to be canceled?" and for that I say, you are right. At first I was was not going to go to Writers From the Block cause Squid was busy. Than I wasn't going to go to Writers From The Block on April 2nd, just cause I was going to Ezra Jordan's EP Released concert party show on April 3rd. That is now rescheduled. That was actually going to be my replacement blog for Writers From The Block 26. I even decided on when I meet Natalia Taylor on June 13th I am going to leave that blog for another replacement blog when I go to BC. Anyway, off topic. Let's focus on why I am doing this.

So on March 12th Writers From The Block put on there InstaStory that since we are all in social isolation cause of the Coronavirus that they are cancelled and they will do a live stream Monday-Saturday on their Instagram. One performer per night. On Tuesday I was talking to Squid about this and he suggested for me to do a big blog on Sunday with every performance. That is what we are doing. Here we go...

Monday:

Kubla - He played the first night on, March 16. I made plans to FaceTime my sister in law, Cindy. So I had Cindy all set up on my tablet and the WFTB Live Stream set up right beside her. With as much as I heard of him I liked his performance

Tuesday:

Noa - Day 2 of social isolation we get Noa on, March 17. Happy St. Patrick Day Noa. Anyone where green & drink at home? Before her Live Stream I was watching Younger staring Hilary Duff. Just to rewatch and get "Caught Up" lol. Anyway, Noa's performance. I love her. She sang 3 or 4 songs and then she gave us a cover of Landslide. I really enjoyed her cover. Even though it was through the screen and she didn't hear us I was singing along. After Noa was done I turned on Babe: In The City lol

Wednesday:

Allegra Jordyn - Day 3 of social isolation we had Allegra Jordyn on March 18th. Ok, so, don't hate me Chameleons, but I missed track of time. I was watching a Peter Moon video and after I saw the time I paused him and quickly went to the Live Stream. When I pushed she was just ending :( I went to Ashs (Alyssa Reid) Live Stream after Allegra's session was over. After Ashs was done I went to Allegra's Live and watched to the end so one one noticed that I didn't tune in.

Thursday:

Trevor Dubois - Day 4 of social isolation we got Trevor Dubois (Charliethekid). And I am watching 2 live streams at the same time lol. Even though this is day 4 this has been my favourite so far. He put us on Omega and sang on there. I loved his performance. He sang 3 or 4 songs

Friday:

Stephen Lecky - Day 5 of social isolation we have Stephen Lecky. I am sorry to say that the live streamed not happen. I was planning on watching 2 live streams at the same time again, like I did the night before. I had Ezra Jordan set up on my phone (Like he was yesterday loland I had my tablet ready for Writers From The Block.. I thought they were late, so I didn't think much of it. At 9:10, I viewed WFTB InstaStory and they said that they were experiencing technical difficulties and that there will be no show tonight. Stephen never performed.

Saturday:

Cinde - Day 6 of social isolation and the last day of Writers From TheBlock Live Stream From Home week 1. What better way to end the first week then with the talented Cinde. I really enjoyed her performance. For the first time this week, minis Tuesday I am not watching 2 Live Streams at once or FaceTiming my sister-in-law lol. Last night didn't count, cause they had technically difficulties. Cinde's section was longer with 5 songs and a cover of Alicia Keys.

There is no group picture, just cause it was over Instagram. I think this was the best idea that Writers From The Block came up with. Since everything is closed, cancelled, and being rescheduled and since Writers From The Block got canceled for March 19th, They decided to do a Writers From The Block Live Strem from Home just so we can still experience Writers From The Block during this Social Isolation. Thank you to Squid who gave me the idea for this blog. Cause I LOVE Writers From The Block, it's my favourite place, and I like to share my experience with you Chameleons. That is why I have the blogs.

I remember after the first Writers From The Block, on April 4, 2019 I wanted to tell you Chameleons my experience. But I didn't want to do a YouTube video. I had fun on April 4th, and I wanted to go back on April 18th. I did, and from that day on I establish that Writers From The Block is my favourite place. I even wrote a blog post about it on April 18th. That is how my Writer From The Blocks came to be. If I can't make a show I will do a replacement blog. I met so many people and a lot of them were from The Launch too. I even had the best birthday last year on, December 5th at Writers From The Block.

If any of you have not went to Writers From the Block before I highly suggest you go. When everything is open again. It's $10 to get in and it's at the B-Side Lounge on every first & third Thursday of the month.

Writers From The Block 24

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I am going to be telling you about Writers From The Block on March 5th. The last one I went to was January 16th. I know for a fact that I am not going on April 2nd and there will be a really good replacement blog for that. Not sure about the next one on March 19th. But, I haven't even told you Chameleons what happened on March 5th yet. We are skipping way too ahead here. Here is what happened on March 5th.

This actually started on February 20th. I follow the group Your Paris (Nick Babacock & Laila) on Instagram and they posted there up coming shows on Instagram. I saw it said March 5th they were at Writers From The Block. I quickly messaged Nick (he was from The Launch) and wrote "I look at weareyourparis website on Twitter at the show dates. I will see you on March 5th at Writers From The Block. This time I have no play that day or a concert the next day." What I meant by that is, that the first time Nick played (before Your Paris) on May 2nd I had a play and the second time he played was on November 21 I went to see Ezra Jordan the next day.

Now, let's get on to the day. I went on the Go Bus at 4:10 with a half of sub and my ice coffee. It was beautiful out. Instead of Squid picking me up at Union Station I took the street car and city bus down to his place. I get to his place, he is waiting outside with his dog, Jasper. We go in and I finish the rest of my sub. At 7:30 Squid, Ink, and myself all go to the B-Side Lounge to drop me off and they went to have dinner, 3 blocks down.

Igo in and pay my $10 and told Noa that I found $5 in my purse and a few years ago I found $20 under my bed in the drawers under the bed. She loves when that happens. Me too. Even those I thought it was $20 I left in my purse. I go sit down (Don't ask why I always start off the night like this). Since my throat was dry and I had a little bit of voice I decided to go to the bar and get some water. The bartender, Mohsin sees me and asks were I been lol cause since I did not come to any shows in February. Told his thanks and that I been busy. I sat back down. After a few minutes Nick Babacock comes over and we talk. He even introduces me to Laila. I told him why I didn't come though last 2 times (May 2nd & November 21st). He even asked about my YouTube Channel. After we talked the show started. Amber Jo performed first. I have never heard country at Writers before. I even could got a Kira Isabella vibe a bit from her. I loved her performance. During break I bought a beer and I talked to Valerie. I told her that I am loosing my voice. She was kinda loosing hers too. She asked if I have any more covers going up. I told her that my Dancing Next To Me by Greyson Chance cover was coming out tomorrow (March 6), I have an Ashs cover coming out next Friday (March 13th) for her birthday, and my first Ezra Jordan cover on March 27th. I asked her how her show at New Noise at Rivoli. When break was over Your Paris performed. I loved them. I even have their song Who's Gonna Love You since it came out on Valentine's Day. After Your Paris, we were on break again. I decided to to go up to Amber Jo and talk to her. I even told her that I like your boots (white little booties). Realizing that I pulled a line from Simon Spier in Love Simon lol. We took a picture together. Went back to my seat and Brdgsmsc performed. I loved his performance and my favourite was You, Me, & Pluto. It reminded me of Girl Meets World when Riley Matthews was crushed that Pluto was not a planet anymore ether. I didn't do much on this break. Just walked around. I even asked Your Paris for a picture. Nick took a selfie of all 3 of us. Alfie came on after break. I liked him. During his performance, Squid walks in. He walks to me and says he'll be at the bar. I followed and gave him my jacket (whenever I left, I left my jacket unattended). I stayed for a bit until break was done. Then I ended up kneeling on the floor to watch the last performer, David Pinard perform. Fun fact about him; he was on Bachelorette Canada in 2016. He even performed the song that he wrote for Jasmine Lorimer on the show. I enjoyed his performance. After David was done I told Squid that I am going to go up and talk to him. I talked to him after the group photo and dodging some pictures he was taking. I didn't want to photobomb lol. I told him that Jackie and I watched the Bachelorette Canada. I even took a picture with him.

Writers From The Block 21

Hey my lovely Chameleons. If you see the title, that means I went to the first showcase of 2020 on January 16, 2020. I couldn't wait for the show. Even though January 2, 2020 was the first Thursday of the month there was no show. I found this out on December 30th.

On January 16, I put my Alyssa Reid shirt back on since October 17, when I last went to Writers From The Block. December 5th I wore a different shirt. Anyway, back to what happened, I went on the city bus at 2:26 to make it for the Go Bus at 3:10. Squid had a computer guy over to help with his computer, so I travel to his and Ink's house by street car and their city bus. I didn't get lost this time. By the time I made it to Squid's place I had dinner. At 6:30 their friend came over for a bit. We left at 7:45 and I made it in the door at a little after 8.

I go in and pay my money. Valerie sees me and we start talking. Then I put my bag on the table and my coat on the back of the chair. I decide just to stand up and be different then just sit when I first come in lol. After standing for a bit I decide to get water. After that I sit down.

The first person, who was, Heather Janssen, came on. She was very good. I ended up downloading her song Checkin' Up that she performed. After she was done I decided to buy a Corolla beer instead of my regular vodka coke. I bought the beer and then I just walked back to my spot, while carrying my coat. Before break was done I was standing in front of a family and asked if I was blocking them. The mom said no, but she was going to tell me when her daughter was playing. I thought her daughter was Taylor Jackson, so I was wanted to say "I think I owe you a hug". She wasn't Taylor, she was Allegra Jordyn. Just then break was done, and Danielle Knoll performed. She was really good. After Danielle, we where on break. Just then I see Trevor Dubois (CharlieTheKid) comes in. I wave and he sees me. After he grabs a beer we talk for a bit. He even asked me if I been here all night. I was and I told him he only missed 2 people (Heather & Danielle). We both have not seen the place so crowded. We kept holing our beers to keep our hands warm lol. And then somebody from the crowd, who has been here before and knows me said goodbye to me when he was leaving. After we talked the third performer, Kubla came on. I enjoyed his performance. After his performance we were on break. I just walked around with my beer. Break was done and Allegra Jordyn came on. I am very glad that I didn't say to her that I owed her a hug lol. I loved her performance. During her performance Squid walks in. After her performance I go to Squid and tell him about the show and all what happened before he came in. Then I had to go to the washroom. From the washroom I heard that everyone was singing Happy Birthday to the photography guy, Daniel's birthday. I come up and sing. After we were done I went to Squid and I told him "Good thing it wasn't for me this time, cause I was in the washroom." LOL. Right before Taylor came on I told Squid that I am going to find Heather to talk and take a picture with her. When I was done talking Noa came up on stage and introduced Taylor. Bad timing for me. I told Squid that I was going to the front. I stood beside Heather. Plus where I was standing, I was there all night.  I really loved Taylor. After Taylor was done I was trying to make my way back to Squid, until I got stoped by someone who told me thank you for coming and my apperaction for the show (He's seen me before a few times). When the show was all done I was trying to find Taylor to give her a hug. She posted her Writers From The Block picture on her InstaStory and she said "Pls come hug me". So that is what I did. I looked at her and said "I think I owe you a hug". We hugged and she looks at me and said that she remembers talking to me on Instagram. After I took the group shot Squid & I went home.

Writers From The (Birthday) Block

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I finally went back to Writers From The Block, since October 17. Greyson Chance concert on November 7th and I went to Ezra Jordan the day after November 21. I was very excited to go back to my favourite place.

Before I jump into this blog, I want to tell you Chameleons how I found out that Writers From The Block was playing on my birthday. Back in May I decided to look at the calendar and check when all the first and third Thursday of the month where. When I got down to December, and to my surprise the first Thursday of the month was on December 5th, my birthday. I decided that I was going. At the beginning or end of October Squid and I were talking about the first weekend of December. It was a go. Go to Toronto on December 1st, come home December 2, and then back to Toronto on December 4th till December 6th. During the days I was home I celebrated my birthday with Jackie. To make this blog stay on topic I am not going to say what I did for the week and when I was in Toronto. Lets start a few days before December, when I got the line-up.

On November 27th when I was on my way to Toronto to see Bulow & Ashs I was on Instagram and I saw that Ezra Jordan and Writers From The Block posted an Instagram Story. I viewed Ezra's and I see that he is playing at Writers From The Block on December 5th. I quickly messaged him saying "I am seeing you on my birthday". He asked me if my birthday was on the day, and I said yes. On December 1st WFTB posted up a photo on Instagram saying info about the next show on December 5th, and me being me commented saying that I have that day marked down. Even cause it's my birthday and I pick celebrating with Writers From The Block. Fast forward to December 4th when I went back to Toronto. On December 4th I went to my Go Bus for 6:10pm. I got down early so I treated myself to a Candy Cane White Hot Chocolate and a Reindeer donut. I get to Toronto and go to Squid. We go to Frank's to get dinner for him, myself, and Ink. After we all ate we celebrated my birthday like it was Thursday. We had cake and I opened gifts.

The next day, December 5th. My birthday. I decided to wear my birthday pin and get myself a hot chocolate at this cute cafe. They even gave me a piece of cake and thanked for being a consisted costumer. I even started on my book from Jackie, that I got on Tuesday. Between then and Writers From The Block I was pretty much relaxing. So lets just skip to Writers From The Block. At 7:45 Squid, Ink, and Myself all made it down to the B-Side Lounge. I pay my money and sit down. Right after I sit down Noa walks by and says "Happy Birthday Milly, I am glad that you decided to celebrate at Writers From The Block." All I say is thank you and that I am 27 now. Next I decided to get water fro the bar, I go up and the bartender sees it's my birthday and asks me if I want a special Birthday drink. I just say not yet, just water right now. Thanks. I grabbed my water and went back to my seat. I went on Twitter and I saw that Olivia Holt posted a Tweet with a picture of herself holding 4 big cans of ketchup. I retweeted it with a comment saying "Me with hot sauce Olivia lol" Later I just kept siping my water. The first perfumer, Justin Toito. I liked his performance. After he performed, we were on break. When we were on break I thought it was a good time to get my birthday Vodka & Coke. I get the drink and see Ezra. I walk over to him. After talking for a bit, I made friends with the 2 guys. After Ezra said that my name was Milly. One of the guys asked how I know Ezra. I explained and then they asked about the show The Launch. Then the next performer came on, B. Nox. I liked him. After he performed we were on break. Right when we were on break my brother calls. I go outside to talk to him and leave my cup at the bar. He called to wish me a Happy Birthday, we even talked for a bit. When we end the call I went back in held my coat and got my drink form the bar. One of the guys that were sitting were I stood asked me if I was leaving. I said no, I just came back from outside my brother called. The third performer comes on at the point, Aryss. I really liked her performances. While she was performing she told us that she loves to post photos up of her dog on Instagram, but he is never getting Instagram. He's not allowed to have more followers than her lol. That's the same with me and Philly. We were on break. I went by the bar just to not stand in the way of people and I see this guy with a ponytail in the front of his head. I told him that we did that to my cousin one day. He laughed and asked if he looked like a Teletubbies. To be nice I said no. He says that he looks like Tinky Winky, the purple one. I told him I remember and that I use to watch the show to. He looks at me and asks how old am I, I say 27 today. Then he says I remember you. I tell him that my last time here was on October 17th. He remembers me form that day. I sat down near the boys I was talking to earlier and I decided to text Squid and tell him we are on break. Possibly 4 minutes later Ezra performs. 4 minutes later I message Squid saying the 4th performer, Ezra Jordan is on now. A few minutes goes by and Squid comes in, pays his money, and walks to the bar. After Ezra performed I talked to Joshua Sade James for a bit (He performed on October 17th). After we finished talking I went to Squid and talked to him. Then I told him that I am going to try and find Aryss. I had no luck. I went back to were I was siting near Squid and Ezra was to my left. I introduced them. Then I told Ezra that Alexis wanted to come, but couldn't.

Just then Noa went on stage... Before she introduced the last performer, Bryn, Noa ended up saying "One of our fans, Milly, is celebrating her 27th birthday with us today." By this point Squid told me that Noa is talking about me. After Noa was done giving me a huge birthday shoutout, the whole bar sang "Happy Birthday" to me. I couldn't keep a straight face. I teared up. I was caught off guard. After everyone sang, the sound guy came to me, held out his cigarette later, lite it, and wanted me to blow it out. Next Bryn performed. Loved her. I got to talk to Aryss and tell her about Philly and Instagram, cause I understand about the instagram thing with her dog and take a picture with her, I went up to Noa and thanked her on what she did. I even met and got a picture with Bryn. I even got a picture with Ezra. Plus everyone was saying Happy Birthday to me and giving me hugs. After I was done Squid was asking if I see Noa. I didn't, but I pointed out her mom to him. He thanked her mom for what her daughter did.

After Squid and I got into the cab I was still very surprised on what Noa did. Even Squid teared up. The last time we both teared up was at my mom's funeral in September of 2015. Sorry, this whole blog is meant to be happy. We went home and we had some leftover cake from the day before and then went to bed.

This was my best birthday ever. Thank you to everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday. The next Writers From The Block is on December 19th. I am unfortunately not going to make it, so a replacement blog will be up.
