Dare Me TV Series Review

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In todays blog I am going to tell you about this new Netflix series that just hit our Netflix on December 29, 2019. The show is called, Dare Me. Honestly, I thought this show came out in 2020. Here's my review anyhow.

On December 29, 2019 Netflix came out with a new series called, Dare Me. This is what Dare Me is about; Dare me is an unflinching exploration of volatile female friendships, jealously, loyalty, and the dynamics of power in a small Midwestern town. Peering behind the all-American facade. Dare Me dives into the cutthroat world of competitive high school cheerleading, following the fraught relationship between 2 best friends after a new coach arrives to bring there team to prominence. Part coming-of-age story, part small-town drama, part murder mystery. The show exposes the physical and psychological extremes that some young women are willing to endure to get ahead.

Even thought it says March 20th on the picture, it says December 29th everywhere else

The cast:

Willa Fitzgerald as Coach Colette French
Herizen Gerarola as Abby Hanlon
Marlo Kelly as Bth Cassidy
Rob Heaps as Matt French
Zach Roerig as Sarge Will Mosley
Paul Fitzgerald as Bert Cassidy
Alison Thornton as Tracy Cassidy

How I heard about this show is that I got an email and decided to open it. What they were showing me I wanted to see a trailer. So I went to Netflix, and there was no trailer. Then I scrolled and I saw this show. I checked the preview and read what the show was about. It looked good enough to watch. I was right. It was very good. This show, Dare Me is also a book by Megan Abbout.

Sorry for mixing you Chameleons up with the date. Everywhere it says that the first episode was on December 29, 2019 and every episode after was on in 2020. Even Netflix says 2019. To me, Marlo Kelly looks like Kathrine Langford.
