Billie Ave - Alicia Moffet Music Review

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I am doing another Music Review, after just posting up a Music Review yesterday lol. Billie Ave from Alicia Moffet came out on the same day as Tenille Townes, Lemonade Stand. As much as I love and miss The Next Star it was planed that I would do Tenille's first.

Before I go on about Alicia's singles, you need to know why I said The Next Star and who Alicia Moffet is. Alicia was on a show on YTV called, The Next Star. The Next Star was a singing competition show for kids between the ages 5 to 15. They go across Canada and audition 4000 kids. That 4000 gets narrowed to 12, and then that 12 gets narrowed down to 6. Those 6 get put threw 8 weeks of Star School, and then they own 1 at the live show at Canada's Wonderland and that 1 is The Next Star. Now that we got that out of the way, let me tell you who Alicia Moffet is. She was in season 6 of The Next Star in 2013 and won.She is from Montreal. She is now a mom to a baby girl named, Billie, Now on to the singles. On June 7, 2019 she came out with her first single, Take Control after her winning single from The Next Star, Why Do Boys Lie in 2014. A few days later on June 28, 2019 she came out with her second single, Open Up. A few months later, December 6, 2019 she came out with her third single, Beautiful Scars. On June 10, 2020 she announced on Instagram that you can preorder her full-length CD, Billie Ave and get the first song off the CD, Body High. Track list:

Track List:

1. Body High
2. Forgive Me
3. Take Control
4. Hopeless Me
5. Why
6. Beautiful Scars

Alicia Moffet's debut CD, Billie Ave is very beautiful. I even loved her on The Next Star, but my favourite one was Paige Prescott in season 6. But I love all of them. My favourite songs from the CD are: Beautiful Scars, Forgive Me, Hopeless Me, & Why.

Before I do end this blog I want to say something about this CD. This is the first time I have ever seen this from The Next Star. Billie Ave is number 1 on Top Album on iTunes and 6 songs off the CD is on the Top Songs;

Quarantine Shows

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I decided to do a different kind of blog. I decided to tell you Chameleons about all the shows I been watching in quarantine. How fun. This is kinda like a Top 5 Thursday, but it's not 5 shows and I am not posting this up on a Thursday. For this blog I am going to tell you a bit about the show, how I found out about the show, and if I love it or like it.

Shows:

Locke & Key - As you Chameleons know, Locke & Key is my favourite show. How I found out about the show was at the end of January. I get the Netflix emails, cause I bought Netflix for me and my roommates a few years ago. Back then I was never a huge Netflix watcher. I watched 4 things, top. They were Daddy Daycare, Walt Before Mickey, Full House, & Fuller House. That all changed when I got 2 new Netflix emails for a new Netflix movie and another email for a new Netflix show. I watched the trailer for both Horse Girl, the movie and Locke & Key, the TV series. Locke & Key looked so much better. On February 7 I turned on Locke & Key at 11pm and opened a Smirnoff Ice. When I was done the third episode I forgot that I still had my drink. That I never touched after I turned the show on. Plus, I kept wondering when the kids were going to Narina. Their was something in the trailer about Narina. Another that that part, I started to love the show. I went to bed at 1am after I put suranwrap on my drink. I am super happy cause the show is coming for season 2. You Chameleons are probably why am I talking about Locke & Key when it came out before quarantine? Well, I rewatched the show during quarantine. If none of you ever seen this show, t's about After their father gets murder, his wife, Nina, and their 3 kids, Tyler, Kinsey, & Bodie, move from Seattle to Matheson, Massachusetts into a house filled with reality-bending keys at Keyhouse. The kids (Bodie first) discover a numerous of mysteries keys through the house that can be used to unlock through the house that can be used to unlock various doors in magical ways throughout the house. However the kids become aware of a demonic entry that is also searching for the keys for their own malevolent purpose. Most of you Chameleons follow me on Instagram and Twitter, If you don't you missed me saying that Hallea Jones also known as Eden Hawkins knows who I am. After I tell you Chameleons about all the shows I have been watching I will say the story.

Speechless - I started getting into this show in the middle of quarantine, and when I was out of the house for 2 months. Long story. I was staying at my nurse's house for a bit and she found this show on her internet box and thought I would be into this show. This show, Speechless is so funny. It ran from 2016 to 2019 with 3 seasons. For any of you Chameleons who never heard of this show, Speechless is about: The DiMeo family, each with an unique personality: Their oldest son has cerebral palsy and can not talk. He does have a white board that has words, let's, and numbers and people read out loud. When JJ turned 16 his mom thinks it's a good idea that his voice changes, the than his mom keep talking for him. They hire a voice, but he doesn't like her. When the family is at the school carnival JJ sees Keenith, the school gardener and wants him to be his voice. They hire him for JJ, even though the mom does not like him.
Maya (Mom) - A take-charge British mother with a no-holds-barred attitude.
Jimmy (Dad) - He does not seem to care what others think.
Dylan (Daughter, youngest of 3) - She is very completive. She doesn't like to loose.
Ray (Son, middle of the 3) - He acts as the "Voice of reason" and follows the rules.
JJ (Son, oldest of 3) - A high schooler with cerebral palsy who has a biting wit and sense of humour. He is unable to speak himself, but he does communicate by using a headgear with a laser pointer to indicate various words, letters, and numbers on a board attached to his wheelchair while other people read for him.
Whenever I watch this show I always think it's Griffin Gluck as Ray, but I know it's Mason Cook.

Life In Pieces - How I first heard about this show is when I was first asking for requests for my new YouTube series, Celebrity Honesty Opinions, and one of my friends requested Hunter King, from Life In Pieces. I never heard of this show or her and decided to watch a bit of the show, so I will be able to do a video on her. I never did that video. When I first watched the show to get a feel of I didn't really get the storyline. A few years later, in 2020, one of my roommates asked if I wanted to watch Life In Pieces. I said yes. Then I started getting more into the show and loving it. It's very funny. When I was gone for 2 months I forgot to watch it. Now that I am home and I finished watching Hannah Montana on Disney+ I am back on to watching the show. What the show is about: Members of the Short family, across three generations go about their daily lives and recount recent events from their unique points of view. Plus, I didn't know that Tom Hanks's son, Colin Hanks plays in the show. He looks and sounds like his dad, Tom Hanks.

Love Victor - I never wanted to watch this show when I first herd of it. You Chameleons know how much I love Love Simon and the originals, and hate remakes. Last year I heard the news and thought it was the most terrible idea. I was more excited for The Lizzie McGuire Reboot. They were both going to be on Disney+. A few months later I heard that Nick Robinson was going to narrate Siom Spier in Love Victor. I thought of checking the show out. When I heard the Love Victor and Lizzie Reboot were both pulled and Hilary Duff was mad, so was I. A few days ago I viewed Greyson Chance's Instagram Story and Twitter and saw that had a post of Love Victor, I wanted to comment saying that Love Simon is better. After I decided to view the story again with the volume up and it was a song on Love Victor from Greyson Chance. That same night I read that Nick Robinson was in an episode. Next I got my laptop and started watching the show. I only got to 2 episodes and don't know if I am going to watch up to Nick Robinson's episode or all the episodes. If none of you heard the about the show, Love Victor is about; Love Victor is a spin-off, remake from the movie Love Simon. Love Victor focus on a new student at Creekwood High, Victor. Victor's journey of self-discovery: facing challenges at home and struggling with his sexual orientation. He reaches out to Simon Spier when it seems too difficult for him to navigate through high school. My favourite character on the show is, Felix. I also love that this show has diversity. I'm not a huge fan of the show, but I don't dislike the show. On an out of 5 scale the show is at a 2/3 out of 5.

Coop & Cami - I don't really like the new Disney Channel shows, Coop & Cami started on Disney Channel in 2018 to Present and I prefer the older 2000's better. One day when I was at Squid's I turned on Disney Channel and started watching this show. This was not bad. Then I decided to watch this show on Disney+ I got up to episode 6 and then stopped for no reason. I like this show. Coop & Cami us about; Two middle school siblings, run an online channel and present unusual question to their followers and solve their problems with the help of people's opinions.

Hannah Montana - On June 4, out of the blue I clicked on Hannah Montana on Disney+. Hannah Montana was on Disney Channel from 2006 to 2011. I enjoyed the show. I watched the show whenever it was on, and then it turned to be one of my favourite older Disney shows after Lizzie McGuire and That So Raven. Hannah Montana is about; Miley Stewart, an average teenage girl, lives a double life as a famous pop singer named Hannah Montana and constantly tries to conceal her true identity from the public.

Little Fires Everywhere - This is a new show that started on March 2020. I started watching Little Fries Everywhere cause I wanted to watch something. I was afraid that I would find a new favourite show though. Little Fire Everywhere is alright. It's something to watch. The show is about; Following the intertwined fates of the picture-perfect Richardson family and an enigmatic mother and daughter who upend their lives. Set in Shaker Hights, Ohio in the 1990s.

Now that we are done with all the shows I been watching in quarantine I can tell you the story of how Hallea Jones know me. You know that Ezra Jordan is one of my favourite singers and you all know that Locke & Key is my favourite show, if you read the first show in this blog. I do need to explain what Homebody Fest is. Over the last couple weekends of May. May 22-24 & May 29-31. Ezra and his team made a virtual festival called, Homebody Fest. 50 performers played over 6. days. On Saturday May 30thI was watching Homebody Fest and I got a shout out. Ezra was telling Hallea about me.  Here is the video. The time stamp is 18:50-19:15, and I wrote it down.

Infamous Movie Review

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog, I decided to do another Movie Review of another movie that just came out on June 12. Bella Thorne has a new movie out, and it's called, Infamous. I saw that Bella was hyping up her movie on Instagram. I had to check this out.

On June 12, 2020 we got a new movie that just came out called, Infamous. Infamous is about; A reckless women and her new boyfriend become a social media sensations when she streams their cross-country robberies online, just so she can be famous and do whatever it takes.

The Cast:

Bella Thorne as Arielle
Jake Manley as Dean Taylor
Amber Riley as Elle
Michael Sirow as Kyle
Marissa Coughlan as Janet
Billy Blair as Tim

June 21 I was on Instagram and saw a picture from Bella Thorne hyping up her new movie, Infamous. I decided to watch the movie to see if it was worth the hype. After I told Jackie about Bella Thorne, why she was on Disney, and who she is. I found the movie on a streaming site. I felt like Bella Thorne was not acting, and only being her wild self trying to do anything to be relevant. I didn't really like this movie. after 15 minutes into the movie I kept waiting for this movie to end. I mean, who in their right head would video record every crime spree, just to get famous?? That is just messed up. I feel like if you record the crime you just wanna get caught. Just saying. After I woke up I went straight to Disney+ to finish watching Hannah Montana. Then after Hannah Montana I am moving over to Phil In The Future. So what I am saying here, is I strongly do not like this movie.

I still think Bella is a talented actress, but a few of her movies are no good. I even fell asleep at the end of this movie. Not to mention, that is movie is only 23% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Feel The Beat Movie Review

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I am going to tell you a review of a new Netflix movie that came out on June 19, 2020. Last Friday. This movie is called, Feel The Beat and it's staring Sofia Carson. During the last few days leading up to this movie I forgot the title of this movie and would simple call it, The Sofia Carson Movie.

Netflix got a new movie on June 19, 2020 called, Feel The Beat. This movie is about; After failing to find success on Broadway, April returns to her hometown and is recruited to train a misfit group of young dancers.

The Cast:

Sofia Carson as April Dibrina
Enrico Colantoni as Frank Dibrina
Wolfgang Novogratz as Nick
Marissa Jaret Winokur as M.J.W
Dennis Andreas as Buzz
Johanna Colon as Lucia
Donna Lynne Champlin as Barb
Rex Lee as Welly Wong
Lydia Jewett as Kari
Brandon Kyle Goodman as Deco
Shiloh Nelson as Ruby
Shaylee Mansfield as Zuzu
Eva Hauge as Sarah
Carina Battrick as Michelle
Kai Zen as June

I decided to watch this movie with my 3 dogs on Friday night. It wasn't bad, I was excited to watch this. I liked this movie, until Sofia's character, April decided to train the girls in the dance competion after she heard for her dad who the judges were. Plus hearing that the Teacher Feature part of the competion she could be apart of. There she just took over and made herself the star of the show, when the star was suppose to be the kids and won 3rd place to advance to be further in the competion. Other than that disapproval, I liked most of the dancing and I love the music. One of my favourites was that, June carried a stuff pig with her everywhere she went. That was me as a kid and to the dentist now when I have to get my mouth frozen. I think that Sofia Carson did a very good job and I enjoyed seeing her outside of her princess and Disney roles. The movie to me as a whole felt like it was a little bubblegum, one step outside of Disney. Nothing really wrong with that. I just hate how they got to third place to move on into the competition.

Love Victor TV Show Review

Hey my lovely Chameleons. Long time, no blog post. Sorry that my last blogpost was on the Netflix movie, Lady Driver on May 24. In today's blog I am going to tell you Chameleons a review on a new TV show that I thought I'd never do a review on. Love Victor is also my very first Hulu TV Show Review. Love Victor came out on June 17, 2020.

Love Victor appeared on Hulu on June 17, 2020 and Love Victor is a spin-off, remake from the movie Love Simon. Love Victor focus on a new student at Creekwood High, Victor. Victor's journey of self-discovery: facing challenges at home and struggling with his sexual orientation. He reaches out to Simon Spier when it seems too difficult for him to navigate through high school.

The picture says June 19, but the show started on June 17

The Cast:

Michael Cimino as Victor Salazar
Rachel Naomi Hilson as Mia Brooks
Anthony Turpel as Felix Westen
Bebe Wood as Lake Cunningham
Mason Gooding as Andrew
George Sear as Benji Campbell
Isabella Ferreira as Pilar Salazar
Mateo Fernandez as Adrian Salazar
James Martinez as Armando Salazar
Ana Ortiz as Isabel Salazar
Nick Robinson as Simon Spier

Before I tell you Chameleons if I like the show or not, I just want to say how I got sucked into checking this show out after I told you Chameleons a million times that I am not watching this show. Plus I even had a blog, Instagram post, and a Twitter post saying how much I hate this idea of remaking a movie I love and making it into a TV Series. Last year, back in April I heard the most terrible news that Love Simon was going to be made into a TV Series (first for Disney+). The worst part of the news was I was at the dentist on my favourite day of the week, Thursday. Not the point. Right after I heard the news I took my frustration out on Instagram, Twitter, and I also have a blogpost. Oh, I was not happy. A few months later I heard that Nick Robinson was going to narrate the show. I guess I could have watched it. I mean, I love Nick Robinson. Then I heard that Lizzie McGuire was doing a reboot on Disney+. To be honest, I was more excited to see our girl, Lizzie. A few months later I heard that Love Victor and Lizzie McGuire Reboot were butting heads and they removed both shows from Disney+. I only cared for Lizzie and Hilary Duff. When I heard that Love Victor was movie to Hulu I wrote a post on Instagram saying, that no one will watch Love Victor. I was set and told you Chameleons saying that I am not watching Love Victor and I hate remakes. Brings us to June 17, 2020 where I viewed Greyson Chance's InstaStory and he had a few posts of Love Victor. I wanted to comment saying Love Simon is way better. Found out a few minutes later that he has a song on Love Victor and I looked up Love Victor and saw that Nick Robinson makes a guest appearance on the show.
Now we are here...

I found the show on a streaming website, cause I don't have Hulu. I admit that I only turned the show on for Nick Robinson & Greyson Chance. My favourite character on the show is, Felix. I also love that this show has diversity. I'm not a huge fan of the show, but I don't dislike the show. On an out of 5 scale the show is at a 2/3 out of 5. I don't know if Nick Robinson's episode is going to be the last episode I watch or watch till the end.

Ask a favourite singer of mine, Greyson Chance to sing a song on a remake that I said that I was NEVER going to watch. And not even is Nick Robinson narrating Simon Spier, he is making a guest appearance in episode 8. I'd thought I'd never download or watch Love Victor, but here we are. Nick Robinson & Greyson Chance I am looking at you for this.
