Julie & The Phantoms TV Show Review

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I decided to do a new Netflix TV Show Review on Julie & The Phantoms. Even though this show came out on September 10, I wanted to take a week break from blogging. The reason why is because I feel like I am only checking out these new Netflix Originals for the blog, and I wanted to enjoy watching Netflix for fun again. Don't get me wrong, I love doing theses Reviews and I have a few ideas. The Duchess, Ratched, and my first Disney+ Original Show, Becoming...Let's start with Julie & The Phantoms.

On September 10, 2020 Netflix came out with a new show called, Julie & The Phantoms. If anyone doesn't know what the show is about, it's about: Teenager, Julie, loosing her passion for music after her mom dies. A year later she finds her passion for music and life while helping 3 phantoms (Luke, Reggie, & Alex) become the band they never were.

Cast:
Madison Reyes as Julie Molina
Charlie Gillespie as Luke
Jeremy Shada as Reggie
Owen Joyner as Alex
Jadah Marie as Flynn
Sacha Carlson as Nick
Savannah Lee May as Carrie
Carlos Ponce as Ray Molina
Booboo Stewart as Willie
Sonny Bustamante as Carlos Molina
Cheyenne Jackson as Caleb Covington
Alison Araya as Aunt Victoria

I was on Netflix at the start of the week and I was seeing what was coming soon. I decided to watch the trailer for this new show, it looked alright. By the time Friday September 10 came around I was on my couch and looking at Netflix and forgot that Julie & The Phantoms started today. I was wondering if I wanted to watch the new show. I didn't really want to. I clicked on the show and 2 minutes later my roommate texted me. Saved by my roommate lol Took the dogs out and decided to go back to the show. The first episode was confusing, At the start you see Julie's mom and Sunset Curve (the 3 phantoms) in 1995 and you see that they died, and then we are sent to present day in 2020 without knowing how Julie's mom dies in 2019. Then Julie plays a Sunset Curve CD and poof, the phantoms come. Sorry if I spoiled the first episode for you all Chameleons. While I got on to the third episode the show grew on me. It was funny. I even enjoyed the music. Even though  I do think that some songs sounded the same. I was done the show in a few days.
