A Teacher TV Series Review

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I am going to do a new TV Series Review. First I want to say is; sorry for the long wait, and the blog ideas were piling up. I do have one blog on draft at the moment, but I really wanted to do a review on, A Teacher first before I start doing Christmas Music & Movie Reviews. Except for Holidate. That movie covers all Holidays, not just Christmas. If you have not read my Holidate Movie Review, here it is: Holidate Movie Review.

On November 10, 2020 Hulu FX got a new show, A Teacher. If you Chameleons have not heard of the show it's about; a drama series examines the complexities and consequences of an illicit affair between a young teacher and her student. Claire is a new teacher at Westerbrook High School in Texas. Dissatisfied in her marriage to her college sweetheart, Claire's life changes when Eric, a personable teenager in her English class, takes an interest in her. Popular and outgoing. Eric is captain of the soccer team and nearly inseparable from his best friends. Everything seems perfect on the surface, but Eric is forced to juggle the pressure of school, applying for college, and a part time job, all while helping take care of his two younger brother. Claire and Eric discover an undeniable connection that allows him to escape their lives, but their relationship accelerate faster then either could anticipate. The permanent damage left in the wake of their illicit affair becomes impossible for the, and their friends and family to ignore.

The Cast:
Kate Mara as Claire Wilson
Nick Robinson as Eric Walker
Ashley Zuckerman as Matt Mitchell
Shane Harper as Logan Davis
Marielle Scott as Katheryn Sanders
Dylan Schmid as Josh Smith
Adam David Thompson as Nick Wilson

I heard about this show probably after I heard about Strange But True and I only got a little information on the show. On September 9, 2020 I got to see a teaser of the show. I couldn't. Plus you Chameleons know how much I love Nick Robinson. On November 10 I ended up watching the first three episodes before I went to bed. I went to bed pass midnight. This has been one of my favourite shows, after Locke & Key and Hudson & Rex. I am not just saying that cause I love Nick Robinson. Since Nick is in the show that is why the show is at number 3 lol. Kidding. He's a bonus why I love this show though. Ok fine, I wanted to watch this show cause he was the star. He told Ellen DeGeneres after Love Simon that he would never play a high school kid again... That went well for him. Now he said that Eric Walker is going to be his last high school student role.

Before I end this blog I just wanna say that I have a cool fact about this show. Tony Hale played with Nick Robinson in Love Simon and Tony also played with Jason Batman in Arrested Development, Nick Robinson plays in a new series called, A Teacher, and guess who the Executive Producer is? The Executive Producer is... Jason Bateman.
