Writer's From The Block 4

Hey my lovely Chameleons, in today's blog I went to go to Writer's From The Block on May 16. Sorry there was no blogpost about Writer's From The Block on May 2, I couldn't go. That is why you read my Breakthrough Movie Review in replace of Writer's From The Block 3.

How I ended up going to this one is cause I was upset that I could not go to the last one. Sunday or Monday of last week I called Squid and were talking about what's new. I told him that Caesars turn 50 on May 16th and that the next Writer's From The Block is on the same day. He was like "Yeah, you have that thing on Thursday." Fast forward to Friday May 10th, I am on Instagram and See that Ezra Jordan and Writer's From The Block have something on their InstaStory. I go to Ezra's Story and see that he is in the show. I was very excited and the first thing I did was call Squid. Even though he was at the cottage with his friend, Ink. Voicemail, so I texted him my excitement. On the Tuesday before the show I thought it was Wednesday, just cause the Amber Alert went off on my phone at 5am and then I went back to sleep till 7am. Through my days off.

The day of I went to Tim Horton's before I went on the o Bus. I got the new Vanilla Creamy Chill. It put me to sleep. I slept all the way to Toronto. By the time we got to Toronto and stepped off the bus I was yawning EVERY.2.SECONDS. I stopped yawning when I got to Squid's house and opened the Caesar he bought me for the 50th Birthday of the Caesars (if you didn't know, Caesars are my favourite alcohol drink) - I am even drinking a Caesar while I am writing this lol. I even had dinner before we left too.

Squid and Ink dropped me off at the B-Side Lounge close to 8. I get in the door, paid my money, and talked to Not for a bit. She asked me how things where going and I told her that everything is good and why I did not come last week. She told me that she was getting the place ready for when everyone comes in. When we were done talking I went and found a seat. I even made 3 new friends. We moved the tables, that made it look like we were judges on American's Got Talent. Right before the first performer came on, Aarys I went to grab a pop, cause since that Caesar I wanted something cold and not with vodka. Yet. I go up to the bar and thought Ezra was behind me siting by himself (the guy looked like him) I go order my pop and I hear someone say "Hi Milly" It was Ezra siting in the chair beside the chair standing beside talking to Noa. And then he asked me if I came in Toronto just for the show. Simple answer is yes. He even asked me if I met Noa, and Noa just says "Milly comes to every show!". He just says "Milly's great. She came to my show in ??" (I'm still not saying where I live). After I got the pop in front of me I took my wallet out of my bag. The bartender said it was ok. I put my wallet back in my bag, grabbed my pop and said "Talk to ya later Ezra" and left to go to my seat. I get to my seat and I don't see my phone with my bag, so I go back up. to where I stood, beside Ezra, my phone was not there. Go back to my seat and looked in my bag. It was there. Aarys was playing by this point. After Aarys performed it was Hunni, Mohsin (the bartender), Noa, & Ezra Jordan. Right before Mohsin performed I went up to the bar to get my vodka and coke. I had to go right at the end of the bar, cause that was the only spot that had room. After Mohsin performed I went up to Aarys and talked to her for a bit. I even messaged Squid telling him that we are on a break and we have 2 more people to perform. Noa & Ezra. After Noa performed Squid messaged saying we are out front. I go out front to see   and talk to Squid & Ink. I tell them we are on a break. Squid just says "Ok, so we are going to leave now" (As in we were all going home). I told them jokingly, cause he was joking "No we are not. The whole reason why I wanted to come this week is cause of Ezra" Coming back June 6 Writer's From The Block. Right when I went back into the door Ezra was about to start.

After Ezra was done and the show was over I messaged Squid saying the show is over and that I will be out in a bit. I had a conversation with Ezra afterwards. We talked about New York, Winnie The Pooh, and tour dates.

Breakthrough - Movie Review

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I am going to say my review of the new True Story that came out over Easter weekend, Sunday April 21, 2019. The movie is called, Breakthrough. Sorry that this blogpost is late. I was into reading my book Those Girls by Chevy Stevens. The reason why I am writing this is cause I did not go to Writer's From The Block on May 2nd, so the is to replace that non-existence blog lol. There will be a Writer's From The Blocks that I will be missing and I will just replace with different blogs. Now that we got that out of the way. Here is my review on Breakthrough.

Breakthrough is a true stories about John Smith who fell through the ice and survived after being dead for an hour when he was 14 on January 19, 2015. After John's mom yelled at the Holy Spirit. The doctor's told his mom that is John does survive he be in a wheelchair. Will after being in the hospital for 16 days John walked out carrying a basketball. You can even read the book, titled, The Impossible. Written by his mom, Joyce Smith.

Breakthrough cast:
Marcel Ruiz as John Smith
Christy Metz as Joyce Smith
Topher Grace as Pastor Jason
Mike Colter as Tommy Shine
Dennis Haysbert as Doctor Garrett
Josh Lucas as Brian Smith
Issac Kragten as Josh
Nikolas Dukic as Reiger
Alissa Skovbye as Emma
Taylor Christian Mosby as Chayla

I decided to go see this movies, cause it is based on a true story and I really wanted to see a better movie than After. I loved this movie. I cried every 10 minutes after John fell through the ice. Some were happy tears and some were sad tears. I don't think I cried so hard and so much in the movies before in my life. This movie is about a miracle. Yes I share that with John, but I can not imagine falling through the ice, being dead for an hour, and then walking out 16 days later. Like wow! If you do not believe in miracles, this movie will make you believe in miracles.
