Writers From The Block 13

Hey my lovely Chameleons. Today judging by the title of this blog I went to Writers From The Block again, but it seems like I am missing every third one again cause I can not o to the next one on October 3rd, cause of a play. Plus I can't go tp the special one on Halloween ether, cause of a play. So so my next one is October 17 and then November 21. Since I will be seeing Greyson Chance on November 7 across the street from The B-Side Lounge. Enough of me telling you Chameleons on the shows I will miss and just hop into this Writers From The Block 13. Lucky 13 lol.

On Wednesday I messaged Squid saying if I came in at 5:10 on the GO Bus I will get into Toronto at 6:35. he called that night saying that works for him. The next day, I actually made an ice cap and then took the city bus down to where I caught the GO. I got a sub for lunch and then made my way to Toronto. My ice cap gives me a lot of energy, plus I had pop from Subway, so I could't read. Squid picks me up. We go to his place and I finish my sub. At 7:45 Squid, Ink, & myself all make it down to the B-Side Lounge. I go in and pay my fee and sit at the bar. My usual seat was taken. Why I sit by myself at the start? Not sure why. I get a pop. I actually got no Vodka-Coke this whole night. Shocker, I know. Anyway, where was I? Oh, so after sitting at the bar for 5 minutes I saw Valerie. I went up an talked to her for a bit. We said hi to each other and had a hug. She asked me if anything was new. I told her that my and my roommate Jackie's dog's birthday is next week. Just then Trevor Larose cane over to Valerie and I. He gives me a hug and said that he came over to hi. He asked me if anything was new and how I was. Valerie told him that it was my dog's birthday next week. We all talked about Philly lol. Later when Trevor went back to his seat and Valerie went to her seat I ended up standing by a table at the front to put my coke on. Vin Rinse was the first one to perform. I liked his songs. When he was done I decided to get more ice for my coke up at the bar. I went to the bar and found the chair I was sitting at. I ended up talking to Valerie instead of getting more ice. I didn't really care. Cause if I got more ice, yes, my coke would be more cold, but more watery. When Lor came on I continued to sit at the bar. The chairs were comfy. I liked her. When she played the Ukulele I couldn't help picturing her as a singer in Hawaii. I use to watch Lilo & Stich a lot. When we were on break I decided to sit at the table infant of me. I ended up sitting with this guy and became friends. I asked him if he was a performer, he kinda looked liked Stephen, who was the second to last performer. We ended up talking about plays, concerts, and Writers From The Block. Right before Trevor started playing Now went up and introduced him. First she asked if anyone came here before. Valerie & I put up our hands (That is all I knew who did) and Noa said "I know not just Valerie came before. I saw Milly before" then continued saying what Writers From The Block is and saying that there will be a special one on Halloween (October 31) after the third Thursday in October (17th). Trevor played. I really loved it. After Trevor played I walked around the bar and grabbed a glass of water. Next I stood at the table I was first standing at and the women told me that the chair was free, so I sat in the chair. Kubla performed. I enjoyed his performance. When we were on break I just kept sitting in my chair, just cause I didn't wanna loose my seat lol. After break the second to last performer, Stephen Lecky came on. During his first song he invited Bryn and Valerie up. They played along that they wrote 2 weeks ago, but rewrote it last night. He said there was a joke in the song and we all chuckled. Then he looks at me and says "That girl knows how to take a joke." I look at the women behind me and she said "He's talking about you." I just turn to face the stage and say "Oh sit" to myself. I liked his performance.

Usually they have 5 people performing, but this week was special, cause the next day was Brooklxn's birthday. So Writers From The Block celebrated her birthday with cake and the number balloons. This blog was suppose to go up on Friday, but now that I am back to work after the summer my Fridays are packed with coming home and volunteering too. So Brooklxn if you read this, Happy Belated Birthday. Before Brooklxn performed we were on break and I talked to Trevor for a bit more. We took a picture together too. Brooklxn came on and I only stayed for 1 1/2 songs. I didn't stay for cake (I'm not a sweets person) or the celebration. That also means that I did not get the group picture. If you see a group picture later on, I took it.

Oh how I miss the pink cast in my photos lol. As you can see in the last picture we had to use the flash. The pink cast always happens on the flash. I think it has something to do with my pink phone case. I first noticed it when I saw Greyson Chance on March 2nd, 2019. Just get use to seeing pink when there is actually no pink in the room. I know there was a few pictures from Writers From The Block you'll saw the pink cast. Here is why. Anyway, that was my night at another Writers From The Block. My favourite place. The next show is October 3rd. I will be back on October 17.

Good Boys Movie Review

Hey my lovely Chameleons. Today I decided to do another movie review. Sorry that's a month late. Good Boys came out August 16 and I had idea with videos, blogs, and Writers From The Blocks (plus the blocks that come along with them). So when I was at Tim Horton's with my 2 ice coffees, don't ask, I wanted to write a blog. Ether on The Next Star: Where Are They Now? or Good Boys Movie Review. I picked Good Boys. I will also do a Movie Review on Stuber too.

On August 16, 2019 we got a new movie called Good Boys. What Good Boys is about is three 6th grade boys (Max, Thor, & Lucas) ditch school to try to replace Max's dad's drom after the boys used it to spy on 2 teenage girls to learn about kissing before Max goes to his first boy-girl party. Then the drom gets ran over by a bus. So the boys decide to ditch school and embark on an epic journey while carrying accidentally stone drugs, being hunted by the 2 teenage girls, and trying to make their way home on time for the party. Max, Lucas, & Thor are trying to fit in and want to do stuff that teenage boys do. The 3 boys even call them selves the Bean Bag Boys.

The Cast
Jacob Tremblay as Max
Brady Noon as Thor
Kieth L Williams as Lucas
Molly Gordon as Hannah
Midori Francis as Lily
Izaac Wang as Soren
Millie Davis as Brixlee
Josh Caras as Benji
Will Forte as Max's Dad
Mariessa Portelance as Max's Mom
Lil Rel Howery as Lucas's Dad
Retta as Lucas's Mom
Enid-Raye Adams as Thor's Mom
Macie Juiles as Taylor (Thor's sister)

I first saw the trailer for this movie when I went to go see Once Upon A Hollywood, I believe and I just kept laughing my ass off and then I went to go see another movie, witch I forget now and saw the trailer again, I laughed my ass off again. I decided that I didn't want to see this movie cause it was basically about 6th grade boys trying to grow up to fast and wanting to experience stuff that older boys do. Then one day I decided to take myself out to a free movie on my Scene points. I landed on the decision to see Good Boys. Just it was the only good thing that was playing. I laughed and cringed a bit. I enjoyed the movie. When the movie was done I decided to look more into the movie, like the cast. Max, who was played by Jacob Tremblay is a Canadian actor from Vancouver, and plays in Wonder, My Mother's Future Husband, The Room,  The Predator, and he was at TIFF last year for his movie The Death & Life Of John F Donovan. Just to name a few movies.

Jacob at TIFF 2018 for The Death & Life Of John F Donovan

Stuber Movie Review bog coming soon, along with my The Next Star: Where Are They Now blog. Before all those blogs first is my Writers From The Block 13 this weekend. There will be a few replacement blogs next month. Keep your eyes open.

Writers From The Bock 12

Hey my lovely Chameleons. Sorry that this block is a few days late. Here is why on Thursday before I came to Toronto for Writers From The Block I filmed my Celebrity Honesty Opinions on.... Amanda Seyfried and I didn't even get my Tim Horton's before I got on the Go Bus cause of traffic. Good thing the bus was late, cause I got to the stop 1 minute before the bus was suppose to arrive. I brought my laptop to Squid & Ink's just so I can get POESY's new song at midnight. Plus I was planing on editing the video when I got to Toronto. After Squid picked me up at Union Station Bus Terminal we took a detour down to T.I.F.F (Toronto International Film Festival). Then after Writers From The Block I left my laptop in Toronto till Saturday when I came back for the weekend. Yesterday I was down at T.I.F.F all afternoon. I even saw Tom Hanks on the Red Capet for his new movie It's A Beautiful Day In The Neighbourhood. After dinner I had to edit the video and upload it before midnight. I managed to get the video up at 9:35pm. That is why this blog is late too. Blame T.I.F.F lol. I am going down to T.I.F.F today, seeing the red carpet for Endings, Beginnings, and then seeing the movie tonight at 9pm with Squid. Ok enough of why this blog is late and about T.I.F.F. Lets just get right into what this blog is about, Writers From The Block 12.

After I did off the Go Bus Squid and I walk down to T.I.F.F and I grab dinner down there. I stopped at Po Boys Food Truck and got a veggie sandwich. I am no Vegetarian, but I loved this sandwich. You don't really need meat or "Fake" meat to make a sandwich to taste good. Moving on, or this blog will become a rant blog, as well a T.I.F.F blog. We get to Squid's house and stay for a half hour. I pack my bag and pack my tablet.

I go inside and pay my money and sit down. This time I sit at a different spot so it doesn't look like I was a loner. By 8:30 my Sister in law, Cindy calls on FaceTime. She was ready. I go up and get a water. Since it was loud I decided to take my tablet outside to talk to Cindy before the show started. I asked Not if I am allowed to take the cup outside, she said "Hi Milly and no you can not". Cindy and I talked outside and then went back in to hear the first performer Cinde. We loved her. Cinde Tod us that she swears too much and that she shouldn't be allowed on TV lol. When Cinde was telling us about a talk she had about not being feminine enough I had what Faiza said in season 1, episode 4 in my head:
Faiza "People have this idea if you are a R&B singer specify you have to be sexy.We need to change our idea of sexy, cause I feel sexy right now. I am wearing this baggie track suit and I feel sexy right now." (just the sexy part, but I had to write the whole thing in)
Cinde was done After I go up to the bar and I ask for a Vodka Coke with tablet in hand. Like nothing is wrong, just acting casually. Then we went outside for a bit (Cindy & I) we talked for a bit and I showed her the list of who was playing. We also had fun with the filters and taking pictures. Just then Willa comes over and asks if I lost anything. I say no and just turn the tablet around. Us 2 go back inside and I see someone was siting in my seat. I sat somewhere else and just asked him to pass me my drink. The Chase was on and we were all clapping along and waving our phones with our lights on. We loved them. Cindy became a fan too. We go back out and I hang up with Cindy. I go back in and sit back down to were my drink is. We were still on a break and this guy and I start talking. He was Dawson's (From The Chase) brother. He even saw me FaceTime with Cindy. Before he left we introduced ourselves. His name is Landon. I say Milly (Yes, I go by my nickname at Writers From The Block and on Social Media). After Landon left the third performer came on, Aryss. Love her. She even works behind the bar. When the break ended Kelsey Vaz performed. I really liked her. When Kelsey was done I went to the back of the bar and talked to a few people. After they asked me if I was a performer lol. I told them no, and I just go to the shows a lot. We were talking for a bit and she said that this was her first show she went to and that she is a roommate with one of the performers. She loved the show. Then again, who doesn't love Writers From The Block?? I was still at the bar and was going to get water, the women was just like "Can Milly get some water?" Yes- we introduced ourselves. By this point the bartender, Mohsin performed. He was very good too. By his last song he brought up everyone who worked behind the bar for some song, so the bar was closed fir a few.

After Mohsin performed the show was over. We got a group picture. After the group picture I went up to The Chase and Landon and Ladon asked if I wanted to meet the boys, I say yes. He gets Dawson and Shiyon attention and says "This is my new friend Milly". The Chase and I talked for a bit and got a picture together. We said our "See yas" and I went and talked to Cinde. This is how you start a conversation:
Me: I say "Shit" a lot. I don't say the f word.
Cinde: I'll say it for both of us.
After the funny conversation I told her that the person I was FaceTiming was my sister in law and that her name is Cindy. Then we took a picture together.
