Upside-Down Magic Movie Review

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I am going to tell you about a new Disney Channel Original Movie, called Upside-Down Magic. Before I get started Want to say that last weekend I was suppose to write 2 more blogs after Taylor Swift's new surprised CD Folklore music review on July 24th, but then the next day I got the exciting news saying that I have won the Homebody Fest Locke & Key Zoom cal, cause of that I only remembered one blog. Opened my blog and I got sidetracked. I didn't write any blogs that weekend. This weekend I decided to watch a new movie and write a review. Now I have 2 blogs this weekend again. Before I get on to the review for the new Disney Channel Original Movie, Upside-Down Magic I do want to say that their will be no blog on the Zoom call with the Locke & Key cast members on August 4th. Their will be a Netflix show review on a show that came out in 2019 called, No Good Nick and a few Celebrity blogs. Since I did stop YouTube their is no more Top 5 Thursdays. In fact almost all my Top 5 Thursdays will now be blogs, with more than 5 people or movies. Now on to the review for Upside-Down Magic.

On July 31, 2020 Disney Channel got a new movie, called, Upside-Down Magic. Which is based on a book series of 8 books by Sarah Mlynowski, Lauren Myracle, & Emily Jenkins. The first book is called Upside-Down Magic and was made into a movie. What Upside-Down Magic is about; 13-year-old Nory Boxwood Horace discovers she can flux into animals, and her best friend Reina Carvajal can manipulate flames. Together, they enter the Sage Academy for Magical Studies. Reina's expert ability to harness the power of fire lands her at the top of her class of "Flares" but Nory's wonky magic and proclivity for turning into a Dritten - a half kitten, half dragon-lands her in class for those with Upside-Down Magic, otherwise knowns as UDM. While Headmaster Knightslinger believes the UDM's unconventional powers leave them vulnerable to dangerous and evil "shadow magic. Nory and her fellow UDM classmates set to prove that Upside-Down Magic beats right side up.

I was sleeping over at a friends house and I saw that this new movie, Upside-Down Magic was coming on at 8pm and then noticed that it was premiering at 8pm. I decided to watch the movie to check it out. The movie was funny, but not one of my favourite movies on Disney Channel. My favourite characters are Budd Skriff & Reina Carvajal.
