Cinderella Movie Review
Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I am going to be telling you of a new Cinderella movie which is staring the acting debut from Camila Cabello. This movie came out September 3, 2021 on Amazon Prime.
On September 3, 2021 Amazon Prime got a new movie, called, Cinderella. I you Chameleons have not yet seen Cinderella I am sure you know the story of Cinderella. If not, this one is a modern movie musical with a bold take on the classic fairy tale. Our ambitious heroine has big dreams and with the help of her fab Godmother, she perseveres to make them come true.
The Cast:
Camila Cabello as Ella
Billy Porter as Fabulous Godmother
Nicolas Galitzine as Prince Robert
Idina Menzel as Vivan
Pierce Brosnan as King Rowan
Minnie Driver as Queen Beatrice
Maddie Baillio as Malvolia
Charlotte Spencer as Narissa
I first heard about this Cinderella retelling from Clevver News on YouTube last year and heard that Camila Cabello was to play the staring role. I don't mind that, but what I don't like is someone who never acted before they decide that a huge Blockbuster movie is where to start. You also see that is He's All That staring Addison Rae. Anyway, I wanted to give this movie a shot cause I like Cinderella, and I wanted to see how well Camila can act. Before we continue I want to say that I don't like Camila cause she is dating Shawn Mendes and I am jealous, No, I don't really like her cause I never really liked her girl group, Fifth Harmony to began with and her first solo single, Crying In The Club was not good. But I can't help singing her songs. I felt like I needed to say that. Back to the review On September 3, 2021 I turned on Amazon Prime to see if I can watch it and see if I can watch it for free. Yes to both. So I turned on the movie at 8pm. Paused at 8:30pm to let Dodge out. Then played the movie again. Like I said for my Resort To Love Movie Review blog I normally don't go for musicals that often. A musical has to be done right. No big dance sequins, the song can't go on forever, and the songs have to fit the storyline. I do have to admit, I like the song choices in this movie and Camila did a good job acting as Cinderella. This was a good retelling of the classic fairy tale. One of my favourites.
