The Unforgivable Movie Review

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I am going to be doing my last blog of 2021 and for my last blog, I decided to do a new Netflix movie, The Unforgivable which came out on November 26, 2021.

On November 26, 2021 Netflix got a new movie called, The Unforgivable. If you Chameleons have not yet seen the movie, here's what it's about; Ruth Slater, a women released from prison after serving a sentence for a violent crime and attempt to re enter society. She must try to put her life back together again in a world that refuses to forgive her past.

The Cast:
Sandra Bullock as Ruth Slater
Vincent D'Onofrio as John Ingram
Richard Thomas as Michael Malcom
Jon Bernthal as Blake
Linda Amond as Rachel Malcom
Aisling Franciosi as Katherine Malcom
Rob Morgan as Vince Cross
Viola Davis as Liz Ingram
Emma Nelson as Emily Malcom

On December 13, 2021 I decided to go on Netflix at 9am before I went to work. I was going to turn Mom on, and then I saw the trailer for this movie. It looked good, so I gave it a try. I had to stop in the middle of the movie to go. And for no reason I have not turned this movie back on. I will pause stuff and never go back, even if I like what I am watching. It's just a bad habit. Even though this movie is not what I am into I do like this movie. It's interesting.

Disney vs Holiday Specials

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I decided to do something way different then normal. I want to take this blog a chance to talk about Holiday Specials on Disney Channel. Not Christmas Specials, but Hanukkah & Kwanzza. Their is one show on Disney that has a Hanukkah Special instead of a Christmas Special and an episode that is both Christmas and Kwanzza. They even have Christmas Specials on Disney where the main cast member celebrates Christmas and their best friend celebrates Hanukkah.

In this blog their will be a total of 5 examples: Evan Stevens, The Proud Family, Lizzie McGuire, Girl Meets World, & Sydney To The Max. For each example I will be saying what the episode is about and if necessary how Hanukkah fits in the Christmas Specials.

Even Stevens - Even Stevens is the only Disney Channel show that dies not have a Christmas episode. It has a Hanukkah Holiday Special. This show, and The Proud Family inspired this blog. For any of you Chameleons who have not seen the episode, here's what it's about; Louis accidentally pushes the family's Hanukkah gifts out the window whilst trying to sneak a peek at them. When he is sent to his room as a punishment, the ghost of a long-dead relative appears to show him what life in the Steven's household would be like if he were not a part of it. So A Wonderful Life, Hanukkah style. I basically ignore this one every winter Holiday, just because I never really liked this show, and never got into it. This episode is called Heck Of A Hanukkah, and it is season 1, episode 15. Even Stevens was from 2000 to 2003.

The Proud Family - Usually when I do a Disney blog or when I did videos on Disney I stay away from animation, just cause I don't watch animation. But The Proud Family, along with The Even Stevens inspired me to do this blog. This is the only Disney show that has Kwanzza. For the Chameleons who never seen this episode, here's what it's about; When the Proud invite a homeless family over over for Christmas dinner, the family stays for 7 days of Kwanzza. I use to watch this show back in the early 2000's, but haven't watched this show for a very long time. While watching this episode I forgot how much I liked the show. This episode is called, Seven Days Of Kwanzza, and it's season 1, episode 11. The Proud Family was from 2001 to 2005.

Lizzie McGuire - Lizzie McGuire had 2 Christmas episodes, but the one I am going to talk about is Xtreme Xmas. Lizzie is determined to win the Best Float award at the Christmas parade with the help of Gordo and her family, but they are busy helping fix the pluming at an old people's home. The reason why this one is on the list, is because Lizzie's friend, Gordo is Jewish, but helps Lizzie with her float and Lizzie's parents to fix the bursted pipe at the retirement home.Yes, doesn't say he is Jewish in this episode, but in season 1, episode 31 was titled Gordo's Bar Mitzvah and you saw him transfer into a man. Lizzie McGuire is my favourite show on Disney Channel. This Christmas episode is called, Xterme Xmas, and it's season 2, episode 20. Lizzie McGuire was from 2001 to 2004.

Girl Meets World - Like in Lizzie McGuire their is also 2 Christmas episodes. For this blog I am going to be talking about, A Christmas Maya. Here is what this episode is about; Riley gets excited as Christmas approaches and organizes a Secret Santa between her group of friends. Maya confesses that the holidays bring back unhappy memories of her childhood. Riley invites Maya over to spread Christmas cheer. I added this episode because you see Riley giving Farkle a menorah for a gift. The reason why is because in Great Lady Of New York, season 3, episode 13 Frakle found out that his family is Jewish. Now he doesn't know what to celebrate and thinks that by Riley giving Frakle the menorah she is pushing him to celebrate Hanukkah instead. This Christmas episode is season 3, episode 18. Girl Meets World was form 2014 to 2017.

Sydney To The Max- Sydney To The Max is the more recent show to come from Disney and the first time I am talking about this show. Here is what this episode is about; With the help of the memory of her late mother and some long-forgotten advice. Sydney rediscovers her love of Christmas for the first time since her mother passed away. Like Lizzie & Girl Meets World Sydney's best friend, Olive celebrates Hanukkah. But Olive always wanted a Christmas tree. I binged watched this show and really liked it, even though I am on season 2. This episode is called, How The Sad Stole Christmas, and it is season 2, episode 1. Sydney started in 2018 and is still going.

The reason why you see a lot of Christmas episodes is because Christianity is the most popular. I remember when I was in elementary school I learned also a little about Hanukkah and Kwanzza. We even made dreiels. I love seeing that different Holidays are found in Disney shows and are interesting.

A Castle For Christmas Movie Review

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I am going to talk about a new Christmas movie on Netflix, A Castle For Christmas. This movie came out on November 26, 2021.

On November 26, 2021Netflix came out with a new movie, called, A Castle For Christmas. If you Chameleons don't know what this movie is about, I am here to tell you;  To escape a scandal, bestselling author, journeys to Scotland, where she falls in love with the castle - and faces off with the grumpy duke who owns it.

The Cast:
Brooke Shields as Sophie
Cary Elwes as Myles
Lee Ross as Thomas
Andi Osho as Maisie
Tina Gray as Helen
Eilidh Loan as Rhona
Stephen Oswald as Angus
Vanessa Grasse as Lexi

Early November I was watching Netflix, had it paused, and the screensaver came on. With the screensaver shows all what is on and coming to Netflix in that month. The date, November 26 stuck to me cause I thought this movie title was cool and I like Brooke and Cary. On November 24
, 2021 I was on the bus and I was thinking that A Castle For Christmas was cheesy and Brook and Cary was. just playing Castle, like how kids play house. Mind you that was my head. On November 26, 2021 I turned the movie on and enjoyed the movie. I have not finished the movie yet, but I am really close to the end of the move, but I did enjoy the movie.

Only Murders In The Building To People's Choice Awards

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I am going to be kinda doing the same blog, like I did when Locke & Key was nominated last year at the Peopl's Choice Awards, but this year it was Only Murders In The Building. Just like last years blog I am going to talk about the show, Only Murders In The Building, how I found out it was nominated, what they were nominated for, and if I like the show or not. Since the award show was already I am not posting up the link to vote.

First I will say what Only Murders In The Building is about. Three strangers share an obsession with True Crime and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one. When a grisly death occurs inside their exclusive Upper West Side apartment building, the trio: Charles, Oliver, & Mable suspect murder and employs their precise knowledge of true crime to investigate the truth. Perhaps even more explosive are the lies they tell one another. Soon, the endangered trio comes to relate a killer might be living among them as they race to decipher the mounting clues before it's too late. Now here Chameleons is how I found out about the show and how I became a fan of the show. A few months ago I was watching a Clevver News video about Selena Gomez and saying that she wanted to get back into TV acting, a decade after her Disney days. On August 9, 2021 I watched a Clevver News videos talking about Selena Gomez's new show, Only Murders In The Building and it said it was coming out on August 31, 2021 on Hulu. I told myself that I will defiantly remember the date, cause that was my moma's birthday. On August 31, 2021 I turned my TV Internet Box on, but it was not there. I gave it a few days. Then I thought it was on Disney+ Star cause Love Victor is a Hulu Original and it was on Disney+. I did not try it. On September 3, 2021 I decided that I wanted to try to look for the show again on my TV Internet Box since I forgot to check the last 2 days. Nothing. So I went online to where I watched the new ICarly and it was on there, so I watched the show. 5 minutes in I paused the show to look it up. Google said it was on Disney+. I shut off my laptop off and turned on Disney+ on my TV and watched the first 3 episodes.

This year I was late about the People's Choice Awards nominates, and when I decided to look to see when the show was on, it was was too late to vote. For that sake I hoped that Only Murders won of the 2 awards. They were:
Best Comedy TV Show
Best Comedy TV Star: Steve Martin, Martin Short, & Selena Gomez

A huge congratulations to Selena Gomez for winning Best Comedy TV Star. The Show Have I Ever won Best Comedy TV Show.

I am a huge fan of the show. I am not just saying that because I am a huge Selena Gomez fan. I also love comedy. I even seen Steve Martin in Cheaper By The Dozen 1 & 2 with Hilary Duff and I seen Martin Short in Clifford (Not the red dog). Plus Martin Short is from Hamilton, Ontario, he went to Westdale High school and McMaster University. He is also located near me. Besides all that stuff about Martin and me being a huge Selena Gomez fan, Martin Short is my hands down favourite one in here.

ASHS by Alyssa Reid CD Review

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I am going to be doing a Music Review since October 10, 2021. I am doing a review on Alyssa Reid's new CD, ASHS, that came out on December 10, 2021 cause I did a Music Review for Greyson Chance's new EP, Trophies and Ezra Jordan's new EP, 117 which both came out this year.

On December 10, 2021, Alyssa Reid came out with a new CD after 6 years. For a few years she went under a stage name, ASHS. She released 2 small EPs and 3 singles. Now she went back under her real name and ended up releasing all her ASHS songs on her new CD, ASHS. Make any sense? Here's the tracklist and cover art.

Track list
1. More Than Friends
2. Don't Call Me
3. Paranoid
4. Ocean
5. 3AM
6. A Million Voices
7. Mean
8. Cold
9. Din Lat
10. Without You
11. My Ex
12. Lie

On November 10, I saw that Alyssa posted a series of photos about her journey for 10 years. Also in that post she said that her new CD was coming out on December 3, 2021. My birthday present for myself. On December 2, 2021 Dodge and I were staying up till midnight (she crashed at 10:30) at 12 I went on iTunes to buy the CD. I thought my iTunes was broken and went o Instagram to see if I have the right date. I did not. CD was coming out on December 10, 2021. I told my roommate, Cindy after my birthday it can be December 10th lol. On December 9, 2021 I couldn't stay awake till midnight. I woke up at 2:30am (was not planed) and bought the CD. I think it's safe to say that I have no favourite songs, and that I been listening to this CD over and over. Sorry, let me rephrase that. ASHS is the only music I have been listening to since December 10th

Christmas..... Again?! Movie Review

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I am going to be talking about a new Christmas movie, Christmas.... Again?! Before I go on, I want to say sorry that my last blog with last month. I been getting ready for Christmas, working, and celebrating my 29th birthday o December 5. I am going to be doing the same thing as last year, by stopping my blogs for the year on a certain day. December 19th.

On December 3, 2021 Disney+ got a new Disney Channel Original Movie called, Christmas.... Again?! If you Chameleons don't know what the movie is about, it's about; After a disastrous celebration, 12-year-old Rowena makes a wish and unexpectedly finds herself reliving Christmas Day over and over again.

The Cast
Scarlette Estevez as Rowena Clybourne
Alexis Carra as Carolina Clybourne
Beth Lacke as Diane
Ashlyn Jade Lopez as Gabby Clybourne
Priscilla Lopez as Abuela Sofia
Tony Amendola as Abuelo Hector
Daniel Sunjat as Mike Cylbourne
Gabriel Ruiz as Uncle Gerry
Sean Parris as Uncle Bruce
Garry Anthony Williams as Santa
Jame McCracken as Louie

In August when I started following that Ava Kolker fanpage on Instagram I heard about this movie. I love Christmas movies, and Love that she was excited for this movie. I heard that it came out on December 3, 2021. I decided to watch this movie. On December 12, 2021 I decided to turn on Disney+ to watch Good Luck Charlie: It's Christmas. I found this movie and remembered that I wanted to watch this movie. This movie felt longer than it actually was. I didn't feel myself enjoying this movie as much I thought I would. Maybe it's cause I watch and love so many Christmas movies, or maybe cause some Christmas movies, did not put me in the Christmas spirit cause I watch and love so many of them. I love Christmas that I thought I wold love this movie, but it wasn't for me. I didn't enjoy this movie much.
