Favourite Netflix Shows

 Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I am going to tell you Chameleons my favourite Netflix Shows. I got inspired by this when a few months ago I watched a video on YouTube from Chloe Coriolin which was titled 20 Netflix Shows You Need To Watch | Netflix recommendations 2020. I was one of those people who loved watching series or anything on Netflix. Yes, I bought Netflix for me and my roommates and the most I watched was 4 things. That all changed during the last week of January this year.

Locke & Key - Locke & Key premiered on Netflix on February 7, 2020, and season 2 is coming. Locke & Key is staring Emilia Jones, Connor Jessup, Jackson Robert Scott, Darby Stanchfield, Griffin Gluck, Laysla De Oliveria, Petrice Jones, Hallea Jones, & Sherri Saum. If you Chameleons don't know, Locke & Key is a graphic novel by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez. If you have nit read the books, like I have not the show is about; After their father was murder, his wife, Nina and their 3 kids (Tyler, Kinsey, & Bode) moved from Seattle to Matheson, Massachusetts into a house filled with reality bending keys at the keyhouse. First Bode (then Tyler & Kinsey later) soon discover a numerous of mysteries keys through the house that can be used to unlock various doors in magical ways throughout the house. However the children become aware of a demonic entry that is also searching for the keys for their own malevolent purposes. This show is supernatural horror, fantasy, and drama. On the last weekend of January I got 2 Netflix emails and me not being me, I decided to open them up and watch the trailers, of the new Netflix movie Horse Girl and a new Netflix show. I decided to check out this show on February 7. I got a Smirnoff Ice from the fridge and I forgot about the drink after 3 episodes in. The funny thing is I don't like horror, but I love this show so much. I even recommend this show to everyone

The Expanding Universe Of Ashley Garcia - Ashley Garcia, for short, came out on Netflix on February 17, 2020 and season 2 appeared a few weeks ago. Ashley Garcia is staring Paulina Chavez, Bella Podaras, Conor Husting, Jencarlos Canela, & Reed Horstmann. Ashley Garcia, for anyone who does not know is about a teenager robotics engineer and rocket scientist Ashley Garcia moves across the country to work for NASA and live with her uncle Victor, a high school football coach. I found out about this show on February 20, 2020 right after when I finished watching High School: The Worst Years Of My Life staring Griffin Gluck the trailer of Ashley Garcia came on and I thought it was good enough to check out. The show is super funny. When the second season came out I was very excited and only took me a few days to finish.

The Babysitter's Club - The Babysitter's Club is a book series by Ann M Martin and then was a movie in 1995. 25 years later in 2020 on July 3, 2020 it was made into a TV Series. Staring Sophie Grace, Momona Tamada, Shay Rudolph, Maila Baker, Alicia Sliverstone, Mark Feuerstein, & Xochit Gomez. If any of you Chameleons do not know about the show it's about; A group of middle school girls set up a business providing babysitting for local parents. I found out about this show when I went on Netflix to watch Life In Pieces and I see Netflix is adverting the show right in front of me. I decided to watch the trailer. I couldn't believe my eyeshot this was the TV Show of the 1995 movie, also based on the books, under the same name. I noticed after hearing the names were the same and some of the plot points were still the same. At 4:30 I decided that I wanted to check the show out.

Alexa & Katie - Alexa & Katie premiered on Netflix on March 23, 2018 and staring Paris Berelc, Isabel May, Tiffani Thiessen, Finn Carr, Emery Kelly, & Jolie Jenkins, This series is about, High school is hard for all students, but even more difficult for somebody who is dealing with personal challenges that most teens don't. That is the case for Alexa, who is undergoing cancer treatment while trying to adjust to high schoolThe maintains her outgoing personality and enthusiasm for life despite her health issues, thanks in part to loyal best friend, Katie, remains by her side through it all. I was little late on this show, cause whenever I turned Netflix on the trailer for this show came on and it started off with "Hi my name is Alexa, and I have cancer.." with a laugh track behind it. That made me not want to check it out. On July 9, 2020 afer I saw a insta video from Paris talking about Alexa & Katie I decided to check out the show. It was very funny and the laugh tracks were in at the appropriate places. I watched the show and all 4 seasons in one weekend.

No Good Nick - No Good Nick premiered on Netflix on April 5, 2019. Staring Siena Augong, Lauren Lindsey Donzis, Kalama Epstein, Melissa Joan Hart, Sean Austin, Eddie McClintock, & Molly Hagan. The show is about; Family members find their lives turned upside down when a young, street-smart gifted shows up on their doorstep claiming to be a distance relative. I ended up checking out this show after I was done Alexa & Katie, the trailer showed up and I thought it was good. Plus I also thought it was dark. After I saw Melissa Joan Hart I knew this was a sitcom. The show is sadly cancelled after 1 season.

Cursed - Cursed is based on a book. It even premiered on Netflix as a TV show on July 17, 2020. It's staring Kathrine Langford, Devon Terrell, Gustaf Skarsgard, Daniel Sharman, Sebastian Armesto, & Lily Newmark. This show, Cursed is about; in retelling the Arthur legend, teenage sorceress Ninue joins forces with a young and charming mercenary named Arthur on mission to save her people. How I heard about this show I came across this show when I was trying to look for a movie, that was nowhere to be found

Family Reunion - Family Reunion ended up premiering on Netflix on July 10, 2019. This show is staring Tia Mowry, Anthony Alabi, Talia Jackson, Isaiah Russell-Baylie, Cameron J Wright, & Loretta Devine. Family Reunion is about; A family struggles to make the transition from life in Seattle to Georgia, where the extended family lives. I came across this show on August 6, 2020 with 2 other shows. I thought this show was very funny and it's filmed in front of a live audience, so the laugh track is not included. Family Reunion is on season 2.

Mr Iglesias - Mr Iglesias came on Netflix on June 21, 2019. This show is staring Gabriel Iglesias, Maggie Geha, Sherri Shepard, Jacob Vargas, Coy Stewart, Fabrizio Zacharee, Tucker Albrizzi, Oscar Nunez, & Kathryn Feeney. This show is about; Stand-up comic Gabriel Iglesias stars in a series as a good-natured high school history teacher who tries to help gifted misfits. How found out about this show, is the same day when I found out about the show Family Reunion. I wanted to find a new show to watch and see what was on Netflix. Mr Iglesias is on season 2.

The Big Show Show - The Big Show Show premiered on Netflix on April 6, 2020. The Big Show Show is staring Big Show (Paul Wright), Allison Munn, Reylynn Caster, Lily Brooks, & Juliet Donenfeld. This show is about; Former WWE wrestler the Big Show tackles the tough challenge of raising 3 daughter with his wife in Florida. His oldest daughter, Lol moves from Minnesota to Florida to live with her dad and stepmom. I found out about this show by just looking round on Netflix this weekend, and I am already done the first season. 

This year, 2020 is a Netflix year, during this pandemic. I found my favourite Netflix shows.
