Lizzie McGuire Reboot

Hey my lovely Chameleon in today's blog I am going to telling you all about the Lizzie McGuire Reboot for my replacement blog since I didn't go to Writer's From The Block on August 29. I put a poll on my Instagram asking you Chameleons if you wanted a Movie Review of Good Boys or Lizzie McGuire. You picked Lizzie.

On August 23, 2019 Hilary Duff went to the Disney Expo to announce that Lizzie McGuire reboot was in the works and that Hilary Duff is playing Lizzie again. Not too much is said right now. That is why I wanted to put off writing & making videos about this to get all the information first so I don't keep updating you over and over with new info.

I am just going to start with the plot and where Lizzie is now. Lizzie is now in her 30's, living in New York, with her dream man, has her dream job, & has no kids. In the first episode Lizzie is celebrating her 30th birthday and suddenly stops cause of an emergency or something.

The reboot will be on Disney+ alongside with Love Simon TV Series. The funny thing is after I heard that their will be a Love Simon TV series I was not all for Disney+. Now after I heard that Nick Robinson is going to be the narrator in Love Simon TV series I was in. After I heard about Hilary Duff and Lizzie McGuire I was like sign me up. Lol.

All we know about the show now is that the Lizzie avatar is back, and even though Lizzie is 30 the avatar is a teen still, Lizzie has no kids, Lizzie is living in NY, Lizzie is working at her dream job & has her dram man. Hilary is playing Lizzie, she hinted at some original cast members, and Lizzie's engaged to her dream man is a chef. The first episode will have a twist and won't explain why Lizzie is in New York. The reason why Lizzie is in New York is cause Hilary's other show Younger is based in NY. She'll be doing both shows.

Some of thing that Jake Thomas will be playing the annoying little brother, Matt McGuire again. Yes- he still has that jacket and it still fits. Everybody is also thinking that Gordo is the dream man that Lizzie is engaged to. I guess will have to wait and see.

Hilary Duff is my favourite Disney Star, Hilary was the first person I watched on Disney when I was 9. She has been a huge part of my life. my (ex) best friend gave me her first CD for my 10th birthday. The last thing my mom bought me was Hilary Duff's last CD, Breathe In Breathe Out. Now she is coming back as Lizzie McGuire in the Lizzie McGuire reboot. I  you Hilary Duff

Dora & The Lost City of Gold - Movie Review

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I am going to do doing a Movie Review on Dora & The Lost City of Gold. Yes, this is a late review, but better late than never. This blog review was going to go up on Monday. As you may remember as a kid of a little show on Treehouse, called Dora The Explorer. So of us might of loved the show, hate the the show, or just thought it was annoying. I use to watch the show when I was little and liked it. It was good to learn Spanish and I used that to help me when I went to DR this year in July lol. After a while I started growing not liking the show and mostly watched it for the Spanish. Before I get started on what the movie is about I do want to say that I am not going to Writers From The Block on August 29. I did say in my last blog, witch was Writers From The Block 10 that I didn't know if I was going and I will let you know if I am or not. Will there will be a replacement blog up on Friday or Saturday.

On August 9, 2019, we got a live action Dora the Explorer, called Dora & the Lost City of Gold. I am not shamed that I went to go see the movie. After watching the trailer back at the beginning of 2019 I thought to myself that this "Now this will be a Dora the Explorer I want to see". This movie takes place wen Dora is a teenage in high school, she goes on a field trip with her class to the museum and then her, her cousin Diego, and her 2 friends Randy & Sammy end up in the jungle and on a mission to save Dora's mom & dad. That is all I am going to say about the plot. Boots is an actual monkey and not an animated talking monkey. Plus Swiper is in here too.

The Cast

Isabela Moner as Dora
Eva Longoria as Dora's Mom
Michael Pena as Dora's Dad
Benicio Del Toro as Swiper
Jeff Wahlberg as Diego
Madelyn Miranda as Little Dora
Madeleine Madden as Sammy
Temiera Morrison as Powell
Nicholas Coombs as Randy

When I first went into this movie I was excited. Then when the Dora theme song was on & Little Dora was speaking into the camera to repeat the word back to her I was like"What dod I get myself into?" When Dora got on the plan to Hollywood to be with people her own age I knew that this movie was getting better and what I signed up to see. Lets just say it was cringe till after the high school dance scene and everyone was at the museum. To me, Randy was the best and my favourite & Jeff Wahlberg reminds me of Demetrius Joyette from The Latest Buzz. Anyway, back to what I thought about the movie. After the high school dance scene the movie got better

Writers From The Block 10

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I am going to tell you about Writers From The Block on August 15. First I will start on Tuesday night. Then I will get on to Writers From The Block. I decided to go cause every third Thursday in August we have a Cactus Fest parade and it ether rains or is cloudy the entire day. So instead of waiting to see if it was going to rain and then wait till it hopefully passes, go to Writers From The Block where I have guaranteed fun. Even if it rains. Ok, lets start..

On August 13 I was facebook messaging my sister and law, Cindy in BC and was telling her about the Cactus Fest this weekend. She always wanted to go. She brought up the idea to FaceTime her this weekend down at the festival (Watch my StoryTime Sunday - Meeting Alyssa Reid 4 to hear what the Cactus is). I am plaining on FaceTiming her. Then that night I had an idea. I always tell her about Writers From The Block with my stories & pictures, but never went. I asked her on Wednesday morning if she would want me to FaceTime her at Writers From The Block so she can experience the show too. She was up for that.

August 15 I go to Tim Horton's close to 3pm. After Tim Horton's I was looking for an outlet. I found one at McDonald's. I sprinted for the bus after 5 minutes. Cause the bus was coming at 3:40 and it was 3:31. It takes me 10 minutes to walk. I make it, Squid meets me on the other end in Toronto. I go his place and finish my Grill Cheese I bought at Tim Horton's. I pack my little purse with my tablet (I wasn't going to use my phone to FaceTime and take pictures at the same time). Fast forward to outside of the B-Side Lounge. Oh, right before I get there I wanted to see how far the MOD Club is from the B-Side Lounge from seeing Greyson Chance on November 7th. Yes, Sacrifices have to be made.

Ok back to in front of the B-Side Lounge. I go in and wait for Now to get change for the money. I sit. She comes and I give her my money. I get $10 back. I put the money in my pocket. I talked to Noa for a bit and then saw Valerie. She was one of the performers that night. Then I ended up moving chairs just so when I faceted with Cindy she had a good view. After Valerie and J3m (performer) finish talking he introduced himself to me. Turns out someone dropped money and Brooklyn (Performer) picked it up and gave it to Noa's sister and asked me if I seen anyone drop money. I decided to check my pocket to make sure it was not me. It was my money. I got it back lol. Later when they were done talking Valerie and I had a conversation. When the show started, Valerie ended up sitting with me at the table I was sitting at.

The first performer was J3M. He got the party started. What I mean is that everyone was standing and dancing and singing along with him. After J3M Elisha came on. When she was on her 2nd song that is when I faceted Cindy. We loved Elisha. Elisha got everyone dancing like J3M did After Elisha we were on break. While on break I took Cindy outside so we could talk (Not saying what we talk about. That is between sisters). When we went back in Valerie was about to start. Cindy loved her, Cindy even wrote "I ♥ U" with a smiley face. After Valerie performed and got off stage she was near me and gave thumbs up to Cindy for the messages. We didn't have a break and went right to our last performance of the night. Brooklxn. I really liked hers. By her 3rd song I decided to take Cindy out to tan to her and hang up. She loved Writers From The Block and wants to come (FaceTime) every time. We are, but not this long. For some performers I really want her to see. If I meet them, she goes off lol. She will hear about it later. Before we hung up Squid and I nk walked towards me and Squid asked who I was talking to. I Just say Cindy. They wave and say hi. We hang up and I go back in. Brooklxn was on her last song and invited Noa, and her sister Elisha up to sing it with her. Again, no one was sitting down. We where all dancing.

When the show was done I stayed to take the group picture. I met Elisha, talked and took a picture with her when I was trying not to photobomb a picture. I even took my first selfie at Writers From The Block (Not to mention the selfie with Michelle Treacey on June 6th. We took that with her phone after we took a picture of us with my phone). After I asked Valerie if we can take a picture together and that I will not forget to post it this time lol. I posted the photo at 8 or 9pm on Saturday August 17, 2019 LOL

This Writers From The Block felt like a family with everyone dancing and singing along. I did forget to say, that this week they had 4 performers. That is why it ended early and Squid, Ink, & I got home before 11pm. And we usually get home before midnight. The next Writers From The Block is August 29th. I might go. Not sure if I can yet. If no, there will be a replacement blog.

Descendants 3 Movie Review

Hey my lovely Chameleons. Today is gong to be my movie review on the new Disney movie, Descendants 3, that just came out on Friday August 2nd. In all honesty I was putting off this blog until I got all my thoughts together. First let me explain the story (or movie) and if you live in the UK please do not continue reading, wait till October when the movie comes out for you. Thank you. Now, what I been saying.. Here is the final chapter. The end of the story, you may say.

Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos pick 4 villain kids (Dizzy, Celia, and Squeaky & Squirmy) up from Island of the Lost to Auradon. Prince Ben purpose to Mal and Mal says yes. Ben's ex girlfriend Audrey rages with jealously. Mal, Evie, Jay, & Carlos team up with Uma, Harry, and Gil. That will be all that I will say on the movie, just cause if I keep writing I will spoil the whole movie for anyone who has not seen this yet. Or wreck it for the UK. Plus, I am terrible for summarizing movies.

The Cast

Dove Cameron as Mal
Sofia Carson as Evie
Booboo Stewart as Jay
Cameron Boyce as Carlos
Michell Hope as Prince Ben
Brenna D'Amico as Jane
Sarah Jeffery as Audrey
Thomas Doherty as Harry
China Anne McClain as Uma
Dylan Playfair as Gil
Anna Cathcart as Dizzy
Jadeh Marie as Celia
Jedidiah Goodacre as Chad Charming
Zachary Gibson as Doug
Christian Convery as Squeaky

Now that I told you Chameleons part of what the story is about and the cast in the movie, here are my thoughts on the movie. When I heard back in the Spring that Descendants 3 was to premiere on August 2nd, I didn't know if I wanted to watch it. The reason why is because I haven't really watched Disney this year. But I loved the first one and liked the second. Now lets go to July 7. I was on Instagram when eating my breakfast when I see a picture of Cameron Boyce on Just Jared Jr's Instagram saying that Cameron died. At first I thought it was a hoax. That is when I searched it up. It was true. I couldn't believe it. It was announced that the cast of Descendants will cancel their press on July 22, cause of the death of Cameron (Carlos). I wasn't really a hardcore Cameron fan, but I did watch Grown Ups, Jessie, & Descendants 1 & 2. Since after hearing this news I wasn't really sure if I actually wanted to watch this movie and see Cameron on screen again. I also knew that August 2nd would be a very emotional day. Not just for the cast, but also for the fans. On August 2nd at 1:30pm while I was at Tim Horton's I made up my mind that I wanted to watch Descendants 3 at 8pm.

On the other hand and not to be sad about Cameron I would have to say that I loved this movie and it leaves you with something. I just want to say that I never expected that at the end of Descendants 3. That was very beautiful. At the end of the movie this paid a tribute to their Carlos in the most beautiful way possible.

Yes - the movie finished the story, but we will also remember Mal, the daughter of Maleficent. Evie, the daughter of Evil Queen. Jay, the son of Jafar. & Carlos, the son of Cruella De vil. Remember Dove, Sofia, Boob, & Cameron you guys are and still will be 'Rotten To The Core' lol

My favourite picture of the 4

Carlos, Evie, Mal, Jay

R.I.P Cameron Boyce. Hope you enjoyed the movie up in heaven.

Once Upon A Time In Hollywood - Movie Review

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I am going to tell you my movie review on Once Upon A Time In Hollywood as my replacement blog for Writers From The Block 9. Thank you Chameleons for making my decision easier for my replacement blog. last week I went to the movie twice. The first trip I went to see Stuber and the scone I went to go see Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. I knew I wanted to do a Movie Review for a replacement blog, but I didn't know what movie out of the 2. So I put a poll on Instagram and based on popular votes  you Chameleons want a Movie Review on Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. Here we go.

On July 26, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood hit theatres. I did the mistake of seeing the movie on July 26 when the movie first came out, but I wanted to see the movie and couldn't wait. The movie was 2 hours and 40 minutes. I have a 2 hour focusing period on sitting and not moving. Yeah. First I grabbed my popcorn and drink and went to sit down. Then I went back to the lobby to grab a straw. Then I took my popcorn and walked around in the lobby before the movie started. Just so I will not move in my seat. Didn't really help lol. Before I go on and tell you Chameleons my thoughts on the movie I will summarize the movie first.

Once Upon A Time In Hollywood takes place in 1969 Los Angeles, Rick Dalton is an actor from the 1950's Western TV, hit show Bounty Law and his best friend, Cliff booth, who is his stunt double, assistant, and driver who lives in his trailer with his dog Brandy. Cliff is also rumoured that he killed his wife and got away with it. They make their way around the industry they hardly recognize anymore. The movie is kinda base on True Events cause Sharon Tate is in the movie too. I suck at explaining movies, that its why I never do it. That is basically the summary of the movie in a few words.

The Cast

Leonardo DiCaprio as Rick Dalton
Brad Pitt as Cliff Booth
Margot Robbie as Sharon Tate
Margaret Qualley as Pussycat
Austin Butler as Charles 'Tex' Watson
Dakota Fanning as Lynette 'Squeaky' Fromme
Luke Perry as Wayne Maunder
Kurt Russell as Randy

I enjoyed this movie and it had me to the end. I actually started loving this movie in scene 2 when Leo & Brad are at the bar and Brad's character is drinking a Caesar and dumping a whack of tabasco into his Caesar. Except I had my eyes close at the end when Charles & Lynette come in. If I can't watch that I defiantly can not watch The Haunting Of Sharon Tate staring Hilary Duff. And I want to watch that movie. My favourite types of movies is True Stories and Hilary Duff is my favourite actress/singer ever. Speaking of Hilary Duff I told Squid about this movie and he thought I told him that Hilary Duff is portraying Sharon Tate again. Just to say she was acting alongside Leonardo DiCaprio & Brad Pitt. Honestly how cool would that be? In fact, Sharon's real life sister approved Margot Robbie for portraying Sharon. Here is another fact of Sharon Tate, she was in a movie called The Wrecking Crew and in one scene in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood Margot Robbie's character is watching The Wrecking Crew, they took the actual movie and put it in the movie. Enough of talking about Sharon Tate facts in the movie and lets get back to the point of this section of the blog. What I didn't like about the movie is mostly Cliff. Cliff wasn't a bad guy (we don't really know if Cliff killed his wife) what I mean is, we have Leo playing the big Hollywood actor and Brad playing the best friend and working for Rick. I thought Leo and Brad's character were both big actors. In all honesty that is all I had problem with the movie. That, and the ending. For anyone who has not seen this movie, I will not saying the ending. But you may know what happens if you read that I closed my eyes.

Another reason why I wanted to see this movie is cause of Margaret Qualley. What I mean is, I have never seen Margaret act before and I wanted to watch her before I go see her in Strangulations But True string alongside Nick Robinson coming out September 6. Also before I knew that was Brad as Cliff Booth I thought that was Logan Miller.

The poster showing at the movies

My favourite one

Before the movie started I took my popcorn on a little walk around the lobby before the movie started after I marked my seat with my pop and denim jacket. I did that cause the movie was almost 3 hours long, and I can only sit still for 2 hours. I can not move if I am very invested in the movie. I was mostly moving this time at the 2 hour mark to get comfy with my eyes still glued to the screen. If you Chameleons are wanting to watch this movie I recommend you do some exercise first, like walk to the movies (don't actually do that unless you live close by) or the lobby with some popcorn.
