Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I will be doing another Writers From The Block Live From Home Live Stream for the second week of social isolation. Between Monday till Saturday at 9pm Their is one performer for 25 or 30 minutes. This week it's Monday till Friday and Friday is TBA (To Be Announced)
Before I go on with the performers I was talking to Squid on Monday and told him that I haven't hard anything from Writers From The Block this week and he said, since they are a bi-weekly showcase, maybe they are doing the live stream bi-weekly too. I never thought of that. Here we are, week 2 starting on March 23rd.
Monday:
Michelle Treacy - Day 1, week 2 of social isolation. What better way to start, then with Michelle Treacy. I loved her performance. I was singing along to all her songs, and even her 4 new ones. She even sang Ashs To Ashs & her song, Emotional from The Launch. I even watched her live stream concert on Sunday and I was freaking over her piggy onesie lol. I even have a piggy onesie. Ok, let's stop talking about onesies. She knows how to get the week started.
Tuesday:
Elishia - Day 2, week 2 of social isolation we have Elishia. Whom is actually from Australia. Last year she came to Toronto with Brooklxn and they both performed at Writers From The Block. Another time, Bryn FaceTimed her on stage to sing along. Let's get started on her performance. I liked Elishia's performance. She sang a bunch of new ones and one that she sang before. At the end of her performance period she didn't want to get off, so she sang a goodbye song on the spot. It was the cutest thing I have ever heard on Writers From The Block Live Stream from Home.
Wednesday:
Jesse Gold - Day 3, week 2 of social isolation and we have music from Jesse Gold. He has played at Writers From The Block before, but this is the first time I have seen him. I didn't go when he played at the B-Side Lounge on October 3. I didn't lose track of time, like last Wednesday when I remembered at 9:30, and when I clicked on the Live Stream Allegra Jordyn was done. So I went to her Live after the show to make sure no one notice I was not tuned in lol. Back to his performance. I really enjoyed his vibe. He sang 4 songs, I think (I know, I'm bad at song count) and a few covers. My favourite cover of his that he did was Is This Love by Bob Marley. He even did a mash up of a bunch of covers at the end.
Thursday:
Nicole Cerminara - Day 4, week 2 of social isolation we have Nicole Cerminara at the Writers From The Block Live From Home Live Stream. I liked her performance. I was very glad that I was not watching 2 Live Streams at once, so I can focus on Nicole's performance. Then again I was also checking out Amazon Prime for new Celebrity Honesty Opinions research lol. I loved her just go with it songs. Like her songs Peggy & No More Books On The Bookshelf.
Friday:
TBA - Chris Odayy - Day 5, week 2of social isolation. Today we had a TBA, and at 2pm or io we got to now who was performing. Chris Odayy was our TBA. I couldn't wait for Writers From The Block tonight. I had a shitty day and Writers From The block makes me escape reality for a bit. That is how you know you found your favourite place. Moving on. I enjoyed Chris's performance. He sang al his older songs & one cover. Chris Odayy played at Writers From The Block before on July 18, 2019
Ether if Writers From The Block is online or in person it's still my favourite place. It even makes me escape reality. It took me 26 years to find my favourite place and I also celebrated my 27th birthday at Writers From The Block. Best Birthday ever., on December 5, 2019.
If you have not went to seen Writers From The Block, I highly recommend going or seeing Writers From The Block. Writers started April 4th of last year and during the second show on April 18th, I established that Writers From The Block is my favourite place. I even wrote a blog post about it on April 4th and then again on April 18th too. That's how Writers From The Block blogs came tp be. If I can't make a show I will do a replacement blog. I met sp money people and a lot from The Launch too.
