Future Nostalgia - Dua Lipa Music Review

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I am going to be doing another Music Review. Dua Lipa's debut CD was scheduled to come out April 3rd, but it got leaked and made her release the CD a week early. Lucky for you Chameleons, you get this blog a week early.

On November 1, 2019 her first single, Don't Start Now came out. 2 months later, in 2020 lol. January 31, 2020 she came out with her second single, Physical from the CD. On Wednesday she came out with her last single, Break My Heart, before the CD came out.

Trck list:

1. Future Nostalgia
2. Don't Star Now
3. Cool
4. Physical
5. Levitating
6. Pretty Please
7. Hallucinate
8. Love Again
9. Break My Heart
10. Good In Bed
11. Boys Will Be Boys

I had to listen to this CD more than once to see how I really felt about this CD. Some songs were good, but it wasn't really my cup of coffee. I think also since I listen to Canadian and not huge singers now theses days I am out of touch with all this new music coming out. I feel like a stranger. After listening to the CD, I won't really listen to the CD again. My favourite songs are: Cool, Levitate, and Hallucinate

Writers From The Block 26 - Live From Home Live Stream (week 2)

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I will be doing another Writers From The Block Live From Home Live Stream for the second week of social isolation. Between Monday till Saturday at 9pm Their is one performer for 25 or 30 minutes. This week it's Monday till Friday and Friday is TBA (To Be Announced)

Before I go on with the performers I was talking to Squid on Monday and told him that I haven't hard anything from Writers From The Block this week and he said, since they are a bi-weekly showcase, maybe they are doing the live stream bi-weekly too. I never thought of that. Here we are, week 2 starting on March 23rd.

Monday:

Michelle Treacy - Day 1, week 2 of social isolation. What better way to start, then with Michelle Treacy. I loved her performance. I was singing along to all her songs, and even her 4 new ones. She even sang Ashs To Ashs & her song, Emotional from The Launch. I even watched her live stream concert on Sunday and I was freaking over her piggy onesie lol. I even have a piggy onesie. Ok, let's stop talking about onesies. She knows how to get the week started.

Tuesday:

Elishia - Day 2, week 2 of social isolation we have Elishia. Whom is actually from Australia. Last year she came to Toronto with Brooklxn and they both performed at Writers From The Block. Another time, Bryn FaceTimed her on stage to sing along. Let's get started on her performance. I liked Elishia's performance. She sang a bunch of new ones and one that she sang before. At the end of her performance period she didn't want to get off, so she sang a goodbye song on the spot. It was the cutest thing I have ever heard on Writers From The Block Live Stream from Home.

Wednesday:

Jesse Gold - Day 3, week 2 of social isolation and we have music from Jesse Gold. He has played at Writers From The Block before, but this is the first time I have seen him. I didn't go when he played at the B-Side Lounge on October 3. I didn't lose track of time, like last Wednesday when I remembered at 9:30, and when I clicked on the Live Stream Allegra Jordyn was done. So I went to her Live after the show to make sure no one notice I was not tuned in lol. Back to his performance. I really enjoyed his vibe. He sang 4 songs, I think (I know, I'm bad at song count) and a few covers. My favourite cover of his that he did was Is This Love by Bob Marley. He even did a mash up of a bunch of covers at the end.

Thursday:

Nicole Cerminara - Day 4, week 2 of social isolation we have Nicole Cerminara at the Writers From The Block Live From Home Live Stream. I liked her performance. I was very glad that I was not watching 2 Live Streams at once, so I can focus on Nicole's performance. Then again I was also checking out Amazon Prime for new Celebrity Honesty Opinions research lol. I loved her just go with it songs. Like her songs Peggy & No More Books On The Bookshelf.

Friday:

TBA - Chris Odayy - Day 5, week 2of social isolation. Today we had a TBA, and at 2pm or io we got to now who was performing. Chris Odayy was our TBA. I couldn't wait for Writers From The Block tonight. I had a shitty day and Writers From The block makes me escape reality for a bit. That is how you know you found your favourite place. Moving on. I enjoyed Chris's performance. He sang al his older songs & one cover. Chris Odayy played at Writers From The Block before on July 18, 2019

Ether if Writers From The Block is online or in person it's still my favourite place. It even makes me escape reality. It took me 26 years to find my favourite place and I also celebrated my 27th birthday at Writers From The Block. Best Birthday ever., on December 5, 2019.

If you have not went to seen Writers From The Block, I highly recommend going or seeing Writers From The Block. Writers started April 4th of last year and during the second show on April 18th, I established that Writers From The Block is my favourite place. I even wrote a blog post about it on April 4th and then again on April 18th too. That's how Writers From The Block blogs came tp be. If I can't make a show I will do a replacement blog. I met sp money people and a lot from The Launch too.

Dare Me TV Series Review

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In todays blog I am going to tell you about this new Netflix series that just hit our Netflix on December 29, 2019. The show is called, Dare Me. Honestly, I thought this show came out in 2020. Here's my review anyhow.

On December 29, 2019 Netflix came out with a new series called, Dare Me. This is what Dare Me is about; Dare me is an unflinching exploration of volatile female friendships, jealously, loyalty, and the dynamics of power in a small Midwestern town. Peering behind the all-American facade. Dare Me dives into the cutthroat world of competitive high school cheerleading, following the fraught relationship between 2 best friends after a new coach arrives to bring there team to prominence. Part coming-of-age story, part small-town drama, part murder mystery. The show exposes the physical and psychological extremes that some young women are willing to endure to get ahead.

Even thought it says March 20th on the picture, it says December 29th everywhere else

The cast:

Willa Fitzgerald as Coach Colette French
Herizen Gerarola as Abby Hanlon
Marlo Kelly as Bth Cassidy
Rob Heaps as Matt French
Zach Roerig as Sarge Will Mosley
Paul Fitzgerald as Bert Cassidy
Alison Thornton as Tracy Cassidy

How I heard about this show is that I got an email and decided to open it. What they were showing me I wanted to see a trailer. So I went to Netflix, and there was no trailer. Then I scrolled and I saw this show. I checked the preview and read what the show was about. It looked good enough to watch. I was right. It was very good. This show, Dare Me is also a book by Megan Abbout.

Sorry for mixing you Chameleons up with the date. Everywhere it says that the first episode was on December 29, 2019 and every episode after was on in 2020. Even Netflix says 2019. To me, Marlo Kelly looks like Kathrine Langford.

Writers From The Block 25 - Live Form Home Live Stream (week 1)

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I am going to be doing my Writers From The Block blog. You Chameleons might be looking at me saying "We are in Social Isolation. Writers From The Block is suppose to be canceled?" and for that I say, you are right. At first I was was not going to go to Writers From the Block cause Squid was busy. Than I wasn't going to go to Writers From The Block on April 2nd, just cause I was going to Ezra Jordan's EP Released concert party show on April 3rd. That is now rescheduled. That was actually going to be my replacement blog for Writers From The Block 26. I even decided on when I meet Natalia Taylor on June 13th I am going to leave that blog for another replacement blog when I go to BC. Anyway, off topic. Let's focus on why I am doing this.

So on March 12th Writers From The Block put on there InstaStory that since we are all in social isolation cause of the Coronavirus that they are cancelled and they will do a live stream Monday-Saturday on their Instagram. One performer per night. On Tuesday I was talking to Squid about this and he suggested for me to do a big blog on Sunday with every performance. That is what we are doing. Here we go...

Monday:

Kubla - He played the first night on, March 16. I made plans to FaceTime my sister in law, Cindy. So I had Cindy all set up on my tablet and the WFTB Live Stream set up right beside her. With as much as I heard of him I liked his performance

Tuesday:

Noa - Day 2 of social isolation we get Noa on, March 17. Happy St. Patrick Day Noa. Anyone where green & drink at home? Before her Live Stream I was watching Younger staring Hilary Duff. Just to rewatch and get "Caught Up" lol. Anyway, Noa's performance. I love her. She sang 3 or 4 songs and then she gave us a cover of Landslide. I really enjoyed her cover. Even though it was through the screen and she didn't hear us I was singing along. After Noa was done I turned on Babe: In The City lol

Wednesday:

Allegra Jordyn - Day 3 of social isolation we had Allegra Jordyn on March 18th. Ok, so, don't hate me Chameleons, but I missed track of time. I was watching a Peter Moon video and after I saw the time I paused him and quickly went to the Live Stream. When I pushed she was just ending :( I went to Ashs (Alyssa Reid) Live Stream after Allegra's session was over. After Ashs was done I went to Allegra's Live and watched to the end so one one noticed that I didn't tune in.

Thursday:

Trevor Dubois - Day 4 of social isolation we got Trevor Dubois (Charliethekid). And I am watching 2 live streams at the same time lol. Even though this is day 4 this has been my favourite so far. He put us on Omega and sang on there. I loved his performance. He sang 3 or 4 songs

Friday:

Stephen Lecky - Day 5 of social isolation we have Stephen Lecky. I am sorry to say that the live streamed not happen. I was planning on watching 2 live streams at the same time again, like I did the night before. I had Ezra Jordan set up on my phone (Like he was yesterday loland I had my tablet ready for Writers From The Block.. I thought they were late, so I didn't think much of it. At 9:10, I viewed WFTB InstaStory and they said that they were experiencing technical difficulties and that there will be no show tonight. Stephen never performed.

Saturday:

Cinde - Day 6 of social isolation and the last day of Writers From TheBlock Live Stream From Home week 1. What better way to end the first week then with the talented Cinde. I really enjoyed her performance. For the first time this week, minis Tuesday I am not watching 2 Live Streams at once or FaceTiming my sister-in-law lol. Last night didn't count, cause they had technically difficulties. Cinde's section was longer with 5 songs and a cover of Alicia Keys.

There is no group picture, just cause it was over Instagram. I think this was the best idea that Writers From The Block came up with. Since everything is closed, cancelled, and being rescheduled and since Writers From The Block got canceled for March 19th, They decided to do a Writers From The Block Live Strem from Home just so we can still experience Writers From The Block during this Social Isolation. Thank you to Squid who gave me the idea for this blog. Cause I LOVE Writers From The Block, it's my favourite place, and I like to share my experience with you Chameleons. That is why I have the blogs.

I remember after the first Writers From The Block, on April 4, 2019 I wanted to tell you Chameleons my experience. But I didn't want to do a YouTube video. I had fun on April 4th, and I wanted to go back on April 18th. I did, and from that day on I establish that Writers From The Block is my favourite place. I even wrote a blog post about it on April 18th. That is how my Writer From The Blocks came to be. If I can't make a show I will do a replacement blog. I met so many people and a lot of them were from The Launch too. I even had the best birthday last year on, December 5th at Writers From The Block.

If any of you have not went to Writers From the Block before I highly suggest you go. When everything is open again. It's $10 to get in and it's at the B-Side Lounge on every first & third Thursday of the month.

On March 14, 2020 I decided to go on Netflix to watch All The Bright Places over again and I saw the trailer of this and clicked play, lol. Right after I clicked play I saw it said that it was based on a True Story and I felt like I really like this movie. It wasn't until like 10 minutes in I said to myself that I love this movie. Not sure why. Maybe it has something to do with it being based on a True Story. It's also sad like, Perfect Sister, witch is based on an idiotic True Story. But I loved this one.

I have a few facts on this movie for you Chameleons
1) Amy Ryan played Nick Robinson's & Connor Jessup in Strange, But True
2) The photos shown of the victims are the actual real victims
3) Sarra Gilbert killed her mom 2016 by stabbing her 227 times

All The Bright Places Movie Review

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I am going to be doing another Netflix Movie, Movie Review on a new Netflix movie called, All The Bright Places that came out on February 28, 2020. After I heard that it was based on a book I wanted to read the book first, but I didn't want to wait on this review and I wanted to watch the movie. It took me 1 1/2 try's to watch the movie. Tell you later. First, let's talk about the movie.

On February 28, 2020 we got a new movie on Netflix, called, All The Bright Places. Here's what the movie is about. After meeting each other, two people (Violet & Finch) struggle with the emotional and physical scars of there past. They discover that even the smallest moments can mean something.

The Cast:

Elle Fanning as Violet Markey
Justice Smith as Theodore Finch
Alexandra Shipp as Kate
Luke Wilson as James Markey
Virginia Gardener as Amanda
Kelli O'Hara as Sheryl Markey
Lamar Johnson as Charlie

After I watched Locke & Key on February 7th after reading my emails and watching the trailer I decided to just continue turning random things on and see if I like them. That worked with The Expanding Universe Of Ashley Garcia. Then Again, that was not from an email, it was from a random trailer at the end of a movie. You get what I am saying.

Anyway, somehow I heard this book was based on a book and I wanted to read it first. Then I realized that with all my books I still need to read I will never get around to this book. And I wanted to do this review when this movie was still new. The first time I watched this movie I only watched a bit in a morning. Then I put it off for a bit waiting to go back io the movie. On March 14, 2020 I went to Netflix to restart the movie and found a new movie called, Lost Girls. That will be another Movie Review for another day. I went into All The Bright Places by hoping that I would love it. The movie was good, not one of the best or one of my favourites. If you read the book you would know what happened at the end. I am against on suicide. If you watch my videos on Amanda Todd & Mia Talerico. I still liked this movie. It was good.

The Way Back Movie Review

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I am going to tell you another Movie Review. From the movie The Way Back starring Ben Affleck. I wanted to see this movie since I saw the first trailer back in January.

On Friday, March 6, 2020 we got presented with a new movie called, The Way Back. The Way Back is about A widow, former basketball all-star lost family foundation in a struggle with addiction and attempts to comeback by be coming the coach of a disparate, ethnically mixed high school basketball team at his alma mater.

The cast:

Ben Affleck as Jack Cunningham
Al Madrigal as Dan
Michaela Watkins as Beth
Janina Gavankar as Angela
Glynn Turman as Doc
Brandon Wilson as Brandon Durrett
Charles Lott Jr as Chubbs Hendrick
Will Ropp as Kenny Dawes
Hayes MacArthur as Eric
Lukas Gage as Eddie
Melvin Gregg as Marcus Parrish

I wanted to see this movie watch this movie back in January when I saw the trailer for the first time when I went to see Just Mercy. I mostly wanted to see this movie cause I like basketball. I decided on March 7th I wanted to go see this movie. By near the middle of the movie I felt like this movie was one of my favourites of 2020. A must see for sure. I think that this movie could have been 10 more minutes in length. That is all I am going to say on that matter. That was basically the only bad thing about this movie.

I do have a fact about the movie. Ben Affleck is an Alcoholic and went to rehab, and the day he came out he started filming this movie where his charter is an Alcoholic. So they had a sober coach on set with him

Morphe x Jaclyn Hill vol 2

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I didn't really want to write, bur after I was watching more videos on Carmine as a new ingredient change in the Morphe x Jaclyn Hill vol 2 cause I didn't want to turn you Chameleons off. But I couldn't pass this up. After I was thinking of this last week, it was writing it's self. Yes- I know I don't wear makeup, but this whole Jaclyn Hill makeup disaster thing is interesting to me. Even if it's her own cosmetic line or her collaboration with Morphe. But hey, we haven't heard any drama surrounding her highlights.

Here's how this all happened. On FridayFebruary 28, 2020 after I got home from work I decided to go on YouTube. I saw a video from Jen Luvs Review, called "Why I Need To Take Down My Jaclyn Hill Morphe Reviews.." I pressed on the video and I don't watch Jen, and in that video she was saying that her sister in law just bought the Jaclyn Hill x Morphe vol 1, but didn't like it. The palette didn't work for her. So Jen took her palette and her sister in law's palette, and bought another one. Just to compare them and see if her sister in law just bought a bad bach. They were different. Morphe changed Jaclyn Hill's own formula and put Carmine in it.

Jen Luvs Reviews video

Next I press on a video from Daily Dustin, who I never watch, on the same topic , about Morphe x Jaclyn Hill. In his video he said the same thing what Jen said and explaining Jen's video. He even said in his video that Carmine is crushed beatles. Yes, you heard me right Chameleons. You are putting crushed beatles on your face. He even said in his video that some Carmine is in some food, mostly red food. After I heard Dustin explain what Carmine is I almost threw up in my mouth and was turned off on eating for the rest of the night. Oh, and fun fact about me, I can't throw up.

Daily Dustin's video

People are upset. First Jaclyn's palette was listed under the vegan tap on the Morphe site and then next it wasn't. Plus there are people who are allergic to Carmine and didn't know that her formula got changed from 2017. The even more worst part of this is that Jaclyn signed papers for her own formula and Morphe changed the formula without her knowing.

When Dustin's video was done I decided not to eat anything and checked my Casey Holmes palette. I was happy that I didn't see anything. Not to put Casey Holmes in a bad spot, cause I love Casey. What I am trying to say here is look at the ingredients from now on in makeup.

I want to end this blog by saying that, a girl (for privacy sake I am not saying her name, but TruthSleuthYT did a video on her) had the Morphe x Jaclyn vol 2 palette, used it, and the next day her eyes were swollen. She was allergic to Carmine, and didn't know there was Carmine in the palette. She tried numerous times to contact Morphe & Jaclyn and sent them pictures of before and after her eyes with the eyeshadows on

Writers From The Block 24

Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I am going to be telling you about Writers From The Block on March 5th. The last one I went to was January 16th. I know for a fact that I am not going on April 2nd and there will be a really good replacement blog for that. Not sure about the next one on March 19th. But, I haven't even told you Chameleons what happened on March 5th yet. We are skipping way too ahead here. Here is what happened on March 5th.

This actually started on February 20th. I follow the group Your Paris (Nick Babacock & Laila) on Instagram and they posted there up coming shows on Instagram. I saw it said March 5th they were at Writers From The Block. I quickly messaged Nick (he was from The Launch) and wrote "I look at weareyourparis website on Twitter at the show dates. I will see you on March 5th at Writers From The Block. This time I have no play that day or a concert the next day." What I meant by that is, that the first time Nick played (before Your Paris) on May 2nd I had a play and the second time he played was on November 21 I went to see Ezra Jordan the next day.

Now, let's get on to the day. I went on the Go Bus at 4:10 with a half of sub and my ice coffee. It was beautiful out. Instead of Squid picking me up at Union Station I took the street car and city bus down to his place. I get to his place, he is waiting outside with his dog, Jasper. We go in and I finish the rest of my sub. At 7:30 Squid, Ink, and myself all go to the B-Side Lounge to drop me off and they went to have dinner, 3 blocks down.

Igo in and pay my $10 and told Noa that I found $5 in my purse and a few years ago I found $20 under my bed in the drawers under the bed. She loves when that happens. Me too. Even those I thought it was $20 I left in my purse. I go sit down (Don't ask why I always start off the night like this). Since my throat was dry and I had a little bit of voice I decided to go to the bar and get some water. The bartender, Mohsin sees me and asks were I been lol cause since I did not come to any shows in February. Told his thanks and that I been busy. I sat back down. After a few minutes Nick Babacock comes over and we talk. He even introduces me to Laila. I told him why I didn't come though last 2 times (May 2nd & November 21st). He even asked about my YouTube Channel. After we talked the show started. Amber Jo performed first. I have never heard country at Writers before. I even could got a Kira Isabella vibe a bit from her. I loved her performance. During break I bought a beer and I talked to Valerie. I told her that I am loosing my voice. She was kinda loosing hers too. She asked if I have any more covers going up. I told her that my Dancing Next To Me by Greyson Chance cover was coming out tomorrow (March 6), I have an Ashs cover coming out next Friday (March 13th) for her birthday, and my first Ezra Jordan cover on March 27th. I asked her how her show at New Noise at Rivoli. When break was over Your Paris performed. I loved them. I even have their song Who's Gonna Love You since it came out on Valentine's Day. After Your Paris, we were on break again. I decided to to go up to Amber Jo and talk to her. I even told her that I like your boots (white little booties). Realizing that I pulled a line from Simon Spier in Love Simon lol. We took a picture together. Went back to my seat and Brdgsmsc performed. I loved his performance and my favourite was You, Me, & Pluto. It reminded me of Girl Meets World when Riley Matthews was crushed that Pluto was not a planet anymore ether. I didn't do much on this break. Just walked around. I even asked Your Paris for a picture. Nick took a selfie of all 3 of us. Alfie came on after break. I liked him. During his performance, Squid walks in. He walks to me and says he'll be at the bar. I followed and gave him my jacket (whenever I left, I left my jacket unattended). I stayed for a bit until break was done. Then I ended up kneeling on the floor to watch the last performer, David Pinard perform. Fun fact about him; he was on Bachelorette Canada in 2016. He even performed the song that he wrote for Jasmine Lorimer on the show. I enjoyed his performance. After David was done I told Squid that I am going to go up and talk to him. I talked to him after the group photo and dodging some pictures he was taking. I didn't want to photobomb lol. I told him that Jackie and I watched the Bachelorette Canada. I even took a picture with him.

Squid and I went back to his house, I took a hauls. Cause by this time my voice was a raspy horse.
