Sunrise In Heaven Movie Review
Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I am going to tell you about another movie that just came out on April 9, 2019, but didn't come out to Netflix till April 1, 2020, called Sunrise In Heaven. It's even based on True events.
Even though the movie came out on April 9, 2019, I didn't see the movie till April 3-4, 2020. I started the movie at 11:25pm and the movie finished at 12:50am. The reason why is cause the movie didn't hit Netflix till April 1, 2020. Enough with all the dates, Sunrise In Heaven is based on Jan Hurst. Jan is the daughter of an overly protective militant father, but doesn't stop her from falling in love with Steve, who is a young GI in the Air Force. The couple must find a way to win over her father so they may be married. In the future, a devastating car crash leaves her (now) husband on life support; she must keep faith in God as she faces the prospect of his passing. Recalling their courtship through flashbacks, she relives out the early days of their relationship.
The cast:
Caylee Cowan as Jan
Bonnie Burroughs as Adult Jan
Travis Burns as Steve
Randy Crowder as Adult Steve
Corbin Bernsen as Jim
Dee Wallace as Marion
Erin Bethea as Michelle
Jenn Gotzon as Terri
Connor McRaith as Robbie
Ever since I opened my Netflix emails on the last weekend of January and LOVED Locke & Key (They just confirmed season 2 on March 30th) I decided to trust my emails recommendations more. On the last week of March I got a Netflix email and told me what was coming to Netflix. This movie looked good. It even said it was based on True Events. Hello, I was all in. Then on April 1st I got another email from Netflix with this movie on it, and I forgot that this was the movie I wanted to see. On April 3rd at 11:25pm I decided to turn the movie on. I mean, what else should I do on a Friday nigh? Sleep? Lol. While watching this movie, I felt like it was one of my favourites that I have seen on Netflix. Email won this round, for recommendations. I have learned since watching Locke & Key never doubt your Netflix emails. And always open them. You'll never know what you are missing out on.
