The Way It Feels - Maddie & Tae Music Review
Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog, it's going to be another Music Review of a new CD that came out on Friday, April 10, 2020. Just in time foe Easter. Ok, fine, it came out on Good Friday. You still have time to ask the Easter bunny what you want and hopefully he delivers the new Maddie & Tae, The Way It Feels CD to you. In all honesty, this Music Review was not planned. The last Music Review was suppose to be 'Cheap Therapy - Ezra Jordan EP Review'. Plus I wrote 4 blogs in total before Good Friday. The other 3 are: 'A Year Of Writers From The Block', 'Disney Stars', & 'Sunrise In Heaven Movie Review'. Sorry, let me rephrase that. I wasn't planning on social media this Easter. After I promoted Olivia Lunny's new song on Instagram on Friday afternoon I logged out and was planning to log back in on Tuesday. That is not happening now lol. Promoting never takes a break. Plus, since we are in this Social Isolation and everything is cancelled or being rescheduled I can't promote anything. So I am grabbing any new song(s) or CD(s) my little hands can grab and promote it. I decided to go on YouTube on Friday night and I saw that Maddie and Tae had a new song. I pressed on there page and saw that they had a playlist full of new songs off their new CD that came out on Good Friday.
On April 10, 2020 we were grated a new CD from the country duo, Maddie & Tae, called, The Way It Feels. Lets talk about the singles first. May 14, 2018 the duo came out with their first single, Friends Don't, off the new CD. A year later, on May 6, 2019 the two came out with their second single, Die From A Broken Heart, off of the new CD. Here is the track list.
Track List:
1. Everywhere I'm Goin
2. Bathroom Floor
3. My Man
4. Tourist In This Town
5. Drunk Or Lonely
6. One Heart To Another
7. Trying On Rings
8. Write A Book
9. Water In His Wine Glass
10. Die From A Broken Heart
11. Ain't There Yet
12. Lay Here With Me (Feat. Dierks Bentley)
13. Friends Don't
14. I Don't Need To Know
15. New Dog Old Tricks
A year ago I heard Die From A Broken Heart, and I loved that song. I even have it on my Best Of 2019 playlist. It was last month that I heard another new song from Maddie & Tae. On Good Friday I was scrolling on Twitter and that is where I saw this whole CD, and it came out that day too. Like I said at the start of this, I was not planning on this, but I love to promote and I am trying to grab everything my little hands can get lol.
Back to how I feel about this CD. I really enjoyed this CD. I listened to them a bit in the pass when A Girl In Country Song came out in 2014. I listened to it, cause my moma liked the music video and showed me. Since then I haven't listened to them till 2019. For no reason at all. I feel like I will be listening to this CD a lot. My favourite songs are: Write A Book, Trying On Rings, Die From A Broken Heart, Lay Here With Me, & Bathroom Floor.
