The Dig Movie Review
Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I am going to tell you about a new True Story, The Dig, that come out on Netflix on January 14, 2021.
On January 14, 2021 Netflix came out with a new True Story, called, The Dig. For any of you Chameleons who do not know what this movie is about; An archaeologist embarks on the historically important excavation of Sutton Hoo in 1983. It was also a book in 2007 with the same name by John Preston.
The Cast:
Ralph Fiennes as Basil Brown
Carey Mulligan as Edith Pretty
Lily James as Peggy Piggot
Johnny Flynn as Rory Lomax
Ben Chaplin as Stuart Piggot
Ken Stott as Charles Phillip
Archie Barnes as Robert Pretty
Monica Dolan as Mary Brown
On February 1, 2021 I was just on Netflix and I saw the trailer for this movie. A few seconds later while watching the the trailer it said "Base On A True Story" I was like, I'm in. I didn't really like the movie. There wasn't much of a story line developed in this movie. The movie basically starts with Basil sailing to Edith Pretty's house to dig in her yard and no reason why. I decided to give this movie a chance, because my favourite types of movies are True Stories.
