Big Time Adolescences Movie Review
Hey my lovely Chameleons. In today's blog I will be doing another Movie Review. Big Time Adolescences came out last month on March 13, 2020, when this whole social distance started. Big Time Adolescences premiered at The Sundance Film Festival on January 28, 2019, but was released on Hulu and select theatres on March 13, 2020. A month later, on April 23, 2020 I watched the movie. Here is what I think on the movie. Other than it's my first Hulu Movie Review. First I am going to tell you Chameleons about the movie and then the cast. Then what I think of the movie. Lets start now.
Even though this movie was at the Sundance Film Festival in January of 2019, I will always go out on the date when the movie was released to the public. The movie came out on March 13, 2020 as a Hulu production. Since I don't have Hulu, I found the movie online after reading the post on Griffin Gluck's Instagram. At first I was faced with the fact that I will not see this movie.... Here's my Movie Review on Big Time Adolescences. The movies about; A suburban teenager comes of age under the destructive guidance of his best friend, who is an aimless college dropout.
The Cast:
Griffin Gluck as Monroe "Mo" Harris
Pete Davidson as Isaac "Zeke Presanti
Colson Baker (Machine Gun Kelly) as Nick
Sydney Sweeney as Holly
Thomas Barbusca as Jon "Stacy" Epstein
Emily Arlook as Kate Harris
Oona Laurence as Sophie
Jon Cryer as Reuben Harris
Julia Murney as Sherri Harris
This movie was funny. I wouldn't say it was one of the best or one of my favourite, but it was very funny. While watching the movie I didn't feel that Pete Davidson & Colson Baker (Machine Gun Kelly) wasn't acting and everyone else was acting. Just my opinion. Hey, they might be good actors and I don't know. But to me, they didn't seem like they were acting. Sorry. I am starting to became a fan of Griffin Gluck. I loved Jon Cryer in Two & a Half Men andI am still trying to make sense his movie with Hilary Duff, Stay Cool lol. Anyway, back to this movie. This movie made me laugh. Even though my favourite genera of movie is True Stories I even love those movies that are rated R and that are filled with comedy. People who can act is a plus too.
I actually followed Griffin Gluck on Instagram before I watched him act. No wonder he looked familiar in Tall Girl lol, and my favourite Netflix show is Locke & Key. Lets be clear here, it's not because Griffin is in the show.
